Chapter 162: 7th layer inheritance

Yun Jhin's eyes sparkled as he thought about the possibilities of the inheritance, but all he wanted right now was 'cold' cultivation resources so he could break through further into his cultivation so he wouldn't be under so much pressure from Yuan Fang!

He still felt something wasn't right even though he was in hell, but he ignored this feeling, at this point he couldn't do anything to Yuan Fang schemes, it couldn't be helped, after all, he was reincarnated earlier than Yun Jhin so he had an advantage that couldn't be stopped or interfered with.

Hell's willpower voice entered his consciousness and told him:

"Your reward is quite simple... something that you have desired the moment you stepped into the pagoda."

Yun Jhin waited for the response, his breathing stopped as he became too excited, he was just like a child on a Christmas morning waiting to open the gifts under the Christmas tree.

"Your reward is... the body of hell! version 7 of the 7th layer! Along with the armor of hell that fuses with your body of hell the moment you get it! Also, last but not least the most concentrated pool of energy which can be found on the 7th layer!"

Yun Jhin eyes glittered as he listened to the rewards, one was better than the least, he didn't have much knowledge about the body of hell he still felt very excited about the prospect of gaining an ability opposed to his current celestial body, while he didn't know much about the body of hell, he knew hell and the celestial realm could mix like water and oil!

"Normally speaking such a body would make you explode as you have a celestial bloodline and body... but considering your former knowledge of bloodlines and how many experiments you had done, well you should know what to do when I give you the body."

Yun Jhin could feel the purest Hellish energy invading his body the moment the voice stopped booming in his head... the energy was at first gentle like the caress of a lover but the moment he let his guard down the celestial energy in his body went on a rampage!

It was a normal reaction, how could hell be accepted by heaven?

It was impossible.

But Yun Jhin had done the impossible multiple times, actually, his experience in mixing things that shouldn't be mixed was extremely high, all his experiments on his descendants and all those bloodline stealing events paid off right now.

The body of hell was like an exoskeleton that wanted to burrow into Yun Jhin's 'pure' body made from the highest celestial energy that he could absorb, of course, the body would reject the foreign skeleton trying to replace his current 'jade' one.

However, Yun Jhin could trick the blood inside his body using a combination of his mixed ki and his knowledge of bloodlines and special constitution... However, there were complications.

It wasn't that Yun Jhin's knowledge was incomplete, he just wasn't familiar enough with the celestial physique and had no prior knowledge of the Hell's body so problems arose.

Fortunately, he had someone with immense knowledge in Hell, he cried out:

"Give me all the knowledge of Hell's body if you don't want your inheritor to die!"

"Oh blackmailing little old me already? Aren't you daring? But you are right I do need you alive."

An immense amount of knowledge found itself running towards Yun Jhin's soul then it fused with it like a ripple on a lake, the knowledge diffused itself as quickly as possible as it reached Yun Jhin's main memory core, and then his eyes glowed as he started the transformation of his celestial physique.

To accommodate the new Hell's body he had to destroy his current one and create one on the frame of the exoskeleton using the pure hellish energy he was given.

Yun Jhin's current body transformed into dust that disappeared into nothing, the exoskeleton of Hell appeared, it was as dark as night and inscribed with the runes of 7 sins: gluttony, pride, wrath, lust, greed, envy, and sloth.

All of the runes were in the order that Yun Jhin lived his lives up till now.. gluttony was self explicit, his pride was immense even though he curbed it into the ground due to his current circumstances. He had a bad temper during most of his early lives which led him to reincarnate again, his lust was also transformed into something different as he lived longer but it was still there.

His greed... well he could control it somewhat, he wasn't envious and he was never lazy, a lazy person couldn't achieve eternal life!

According to the 7 deadly sins, he created a new body combining the celestial energy coming from the void above him and the current pure hellish energy running from Hell's willpower.

A new body was currently appearing over the skeleton... the bones were covered with flesh and soon skin appeared as well...

His azure hair started to change as it grew back on his head... from a pure azure color, it became half azure and half dark red, his eyes now suffered from heterochromia as one turned azure and one dark red, it was just like back then when he achieved his Ying-Yang form... but now it was more pronounced.

Suddenly over his naked body, a crimson armor appeared which inserted itself painfully into his body, it was assimilated and the pain that came with it wasn't small... Yun Jhin grunted, even with the pain tolerance he had, he still wanted to scream out his lungs!

The armor finally fused with his new flesh and connected itself to his new exoskeleton thus finishing the transformation of the inheritance.

He knew that he shouldn't have just done everything according to Hell's willpower but at this point, he wouldn't be able to leave even if he wanted to... he tried to pierce through space the moment he finished the trial to see if he could leave if he wanted to... but he realized moments later that he couldn't.

Hell's willpower was currently sealing the whole space he was currently in, even though he practically left the Pagoda after he finished the trial and was transported to a different space he was still under the jurisdiction of Hell.

After the transformation finished Yun Jhin fell to his knees as he breathed in and out to stop the immense pain flooding through his new body and soul.

Hell's willpower boomed into his mind:

"Very good... the combination of Hell and Celestial realm made you... different."

Yun Jhin could feel that his cultivation also broke through to the 2nd stage of the sage realm after he finished the reconstruction of his body, somehow his avatar benefited from the change, maybe it was because he used so much energy to reforge it, some of it may have leaked into his avatar.

"Now that you are done with the body... let's dip you into the pool."

Yun Jhin looked down only for him to fall into a boundless pool of demonic energy, the energy was so viscous and pure that the moment he fell into it he realized that the energy started to transform into a type solid matter like jelly and trap him inside!

Yun Jhin closed his eyes as he felt his skin absorbing the jelly substance by itself, now that his body was so attuned to hell his cultivation speed had increased by 200%.

His surroundings were made of jelly, everything was jelly... all he could do was absorb it.

His cultivation was quickly increasing the more he stood in the jelly, the quantity of the jelly decreased as time passed... 1 month.... 2 months.... 3 months... 10 months...

Yun Jhin could finally breathe again as he felt that there was no more jelly around him, due to his new body he absorbed all of that 'boundless' jelly substance in those 10 months of cultivation!

His body stood there motionlessly as he checked his internal situation... his cultivation broke through from the 2nd stage to the 7th stage of the sage realm!

He knew that this was only possible because he absorbed the 'core' of the 7th layer, he realized after some time passed that he was thrown into the core that sustained the 7th layer, and now that he absorbed it, he became the layer's lord!

Hell's willpower appeared out of nowhere... it was a dark green light body that had the shape of a circle, it stood there motionlessly for a long while before the sex-less voice he was familiar with appeared:

"Very good... not excellent nor perfect, but considering how tough your new body is, I can say that it broke through the normal conventions of the so-called body rank and your cultivation isn't that bad either."

"You should know what comes next right?"

How couldn't Yun Jhin know? Why would you fatten a sheep beside for slaughter?

A chuckle could be heard coming from the body of light... then it launched itself directly at Yun Jhin.
