Chapter 174: Battle on a dying planet

"There is still a chance for you to give up at this point Yun Jhin, we can make it so we didn't hear anything and we can go each on our own ways."

Yun Jhin's body disappeared as he did a roundhouse kick towards Yuan Fang's temple hitting him squarely there as his body flew through the ground and landed outside the underground cave.

"Trying to calibrate your soul with talking? Quite old fashioned."

Yun Jhin appeared on the surface as he looked around but he couldn't see Yuan Fang anymore, he disappeared as he was sent to the surface.

He frowned as he activated his stealth technique only for a wave of ki to disturb his stealth state and a punch to hit him in the head burying him back into the ground.

"You are not the only one who knows how to hide."

A voice came from behind him:

"But I do it better."

"Indeed you do, but you are also previsible."

A black sword went through Yuan Fang's back directly trying to pierce the owner of the voice that was behind him... only for him to pierce an illusion!

The illusory figure of Yun Jhin dissipated as Yuan Fang frowned... he could feel something strange appearing in his bloodstream as he broke the illusion and he chuckled:

"Poison? Our bloodlines are so strong that any type of poison is useless against us and you should know that."

There were no more responses from Yun Jhin.

Yuan Fang easily purged the poison in his body and continued to scan around him, he knew that Yun Jhin wouldn't run at this point he gave him too much of an enticement for him to run! Because of his current situation of his soul, he was at his weakest and Yun Jhin had the best opportunity to claim his life.

His underlings were also trying to take down the mother tree's soul and his other ones were on different missions in the universe, he was truly alone and weakened to the point that even Yun Jhin who was 6 stages below him could fight him equally and even win!

"Trying more assassin stuff Yun Jhin? You know this isn't your forte... your blood must be boiling right now, right?"

Suddenly a gigantic wave of energy exploded from Yuan Fang's body disrupting the surrounding ki and revealing Yun Jhin above him coming directly towards him with his halberd ready to split him into two pieces!

"HA!"

Yuan Fang shouted as his arms turned dark and shiny with big scales, he infused his ki into them to the point that he gained an exoskeleton armor as his bloodline talent activated by itself.

The halberd made a shallow cut on his arms letting some dark blood drip from his wound before it closed itself milliseconds later.

Yun Jhin tried to push the halberd further but he knew that if he pushed too much the weapon might become stuck in his forearm and this wasn't something he needed, he retrieved his weapon as he created a ki saber and threw it at Yuan Fang's neck accurately.

The ki weapon dissipated into sparks of ki that Yuan Fang absorbed as his eyes glowed with azure energy, his celestial bloodline started to revolve as runes appeared on his skin and his aura increased one step further.

"You are pushing me too far Yun Jhin!"

"That's what I want!"

Suddenly Yuan Fang clutched his forehead as a migraine assaulted his soul, his power started to wane increasing and decreasing at intervals that he would resemble a mortal or even go beyond his current cultivation and reach the God Realm!

"STAY BACK THERE YOU RELIC! YOUR TIME IS DONE, YOUR ACTIONS ARE OUTDATED, BEING SO RIGHTEOUS LED YOU TO BE DECAPITATED, SURRENDER YOURSELF TO YOUR NEW WILL!"

Yun Jhin appeared in front of Yuan Fang his hand transformed into a ki blade that went through his chest piercing through his heart and skewering it leaving Yuan Fang's body through his back.

But he didn't die, Yuan Fang had more than one heart and so did Yun Jhin, now that one of them was taken care of Yuan Fang's body weakened by quite a bit and his migraine increased, he had to split off his attention in two directions as he had to take care of both of soul willpower of his former life inside of him and Yun Jhin's relentless attacks on his physical body.

"FUCK OFF!"

A green barrier appeared around Yuan Fang's body as it pushed Yun Jhin away to the point that he couldn't balance his body. Suddenly two ki balls of medium size appeared in front of Yun Jhin body as the second ball was absorbed by the first one creating a gigantic behemoth of energy that threatened to engulf Yun Jhin and vaporize his new body into nothing!

Yun Jhin knew that he couldn't dodge it by going up or backward so he dug into the earth like a mole and disappeared he barely avoided the ki attack as his head turned bald due to his hair being all burnt off by the ki behemoth.

He returned to the surface to see Yuan Fang clutching his chest as the hole he pierced into him closed and from the one glance, he took he could see a new heart slowly growing back into his chest.

"His body refinement is strong to the point that I cannot defeat him unless I vaporize every one of his cells or destroy the connection of his soul to his body just like Hell did to me."

Yuan Fang started to show signs of destabilizing as his eyes turned white without any pupils as his hair spiked up, his bloodline started to run out of control in his body as the demonic and celestial parts of it clashed against each other, but unlike with Yun Jhin when his body was getting destroyed from the outside something different happened.

The bloodlines fused properly as Yuan Fang's muscled body started to slim down and his hair turned a deep blood red color, his pupils returned and they became the same color as his hair and there was a relatively more peaceful look on his face as he looked into Yun Jhin's eyes:

"Thanks for helping me stabilize my cultivation base, now I shall give you a gift!"

He put one of his hands forward as a small blue ki ball that he held in his hand was thrown forward at a slow speed towards Yun Jhin.

The speed was very slow so Yun Jhin tried to get out of the way but with one glance from Yuan Fang's eyes he became immobilized in a crucifix position and no matter how hard he tried to move he couldn't!

The blue ball of ki struck Yun Jhin's body and was absorbed by it... Yun Jhin could feel his inner organs liquefying as the ball entered his body and the pain was so intense he couldn't help but cry in pain!

"AHHH!"

"A nice welcoming gift right?"

Yun Jhin's face was down as he clenched his teeth but then he suddenly smiled as he looked at Yuan Fang's face... Yuan Fang didn't like that smile.

Yun Jhin body which was crucified in the air suddenly disappeared as if he was never there, the connection between them was cut and Yuan Fang couldn't see anything, he tried using another wave of ki to reveal him but it seemed like he wasn't there at all!

Suddenly the air in front of him cracked as space was broken and Yun Jhin appeared, Yuan Fang chuckled as he looked at him but suddenly he found a fist in his gut and a roundhouse kick to the neck that pushed him back a few meters while breaking his bones.

"Time law!!!"

Yun Jhin used his time-skip ability for the first time in a long time, this was one of the only abilities that he could employ in this battle that would be rather useful because this was an ability exclusive to him!

Very few God Realm experts learned the time laws but since Yun Jhin reincarnated so many times he had grasped way more laws than the other experts.

The time around them froze, at least that's what happened for Yuan Fang, for him time was still going moving but Yun Jhin disappeared! The next moment he tried to locate him he could feel a deep pain in his chest as Yun Jhin appeared clutching two hearts in his hands.

The earthquakes on the planet started to increase in velocity as Yun Jhin stumbled and dropped the hearts to the ground where they were both absorbed by it.

Yun Jhin frowned as he looked towards the mother tree which was wilting at a visible speed:

"This planet doesn't have much time left..."

It seemed that the mother tree wanted to take everyone here down with her if she died!

While most people above the King Realm could live in space for varying amounts of time, only God Realm experts could barely survive an explosion of a planet!

If the planet exploded while they were all on it they would be doomed!
