It would be a lie to say that Yun Duritz didn't experience pain from the arm hold his 'older sister' had put on him but what could he do when the difference in strength between them was so huge?
He could either endure until the end or say uncle but considering that their clan seemed to be based on a barbaric power-based hierarchy so if he acted though he would be accepted more easily, and from what he understood Duritz himself was rather though so retaining his personality would be for the best if he wanted to continue fooling them.
"You can continue how much you want big sis but I will never yield!"
That's what he wanted to say but considering his bones were cracking and that his mouth was blocked by the floor all that came out of his mouth was:
"Ugh, con ho bi si ne yiel!"
"Oh, you don't want to yield! Hahaha you are still my Lil bro even without memories aren't you?"
"You really retained that stubborn trait that father had as well and it's ingrained even in your bones!"
Yun Duritz wanted to laugh but his chest would fill up with blood if he did as his chest bones started to poke into his organs.
Sensing his brother's situation made Lin Luan's eyes soften a bit as she took her heavy body off him and said:
"Well I guess it won't really work this way... maybe your memories are lost forever but we can always create new ones!"
Yun Duritz sighed as he tried to get up from the floor only for his sister to help him up and continuing:
"It seems that your body hasn't been sealed any way but it's quite weak... you haven't even reached the final stage of your bloodline yet and your cultivation base while budding is rather weak for your age..."
"You should have at least been a little bit weaker than me or at least as strong as me cultivation wise but you are so pitifully weak..."
Yun Duritz understood already he made a face which indicated that he wasn't happy with her bringing up her cultivation and she understood as she laughed:
"It seems that your pride is still there as well, very good since you came back let's help you cultivate to where you are supposed to be, the prince of the Lin clan can't be weak, after all, you are supposed to replace me! Since you are a male and the one that was supposed to inherit the position you will have to become the clan leader when you reach the adequate cultivation base."
Yun Duritz found that everything was going a little fast but it was all in his benefit so he also felt rather good, he smiled at his 'sister' then asked:
"So about cultivating... how am I supposed to do that?"
Lin Luan almost faceplanted as she said:
"Ok, it seems that you don't even know about cultivation anymore? I understand losing your personal memories but those other ones... the damage is bigger than expected."
To cultivators cultivating became like eating and sleeping, even if they forgot some of their core memories they would always know how to cultivate! After all, they had done the same thing for years and years consecutively so how could they forget how to do it?
"It seems I will have to teach you our cultivation technique..."
"Let's see if this Duritz is genuine or not, if he is he should be able to cultivate our clan's technique, if he is fake his head shall be severed and hanged at the gates of the city!"
Yun Duritz couldn't read minds but he could read the mood, he felt that something wasn't right as his 'sister' looked at him with a strange glint in her eyes but it was pretty normal to doubt him, even though the return was sudden his alibi was almost perfect but all the doubts couldn't be erased perfectly.
"Sure sis I'm waiting."
"Let's not do it here as the technique is confidential."
She glanced at Lin Lang and the man coughed as he left, even though he was the son of the general under Duritz's father that didn't mean he had access to any direct cultivation techniques, but he did get the second-best ones.
Lin Luan started to walk forward exiting the house through the backdoor and Yun Duritz followed her quickly from behind, they arrived in a beautiful garden with a small pool in the back of it.
There were a few flowers planted here and there and as Yun Duritz took in breaths he could feel that his cultivation speed was getting faster and faster!
His discerning eye saw that the flowers were actually arranged in a formation!
Lin Luan chuckled as he saw him eyeing the flowers and breathed in and out:
"While you know the bare basics of cultivation you are still lacking the most important things, it seems that while your memory was affected your cultivation lobe was only destroyed around to 90%."
"Ok now to the teaching."
She waved her hands as a blue barrier blocked everything from outside and inside from coming in or out.
Yun Duritz gave the barrier a few knocks and realized that there was no way he would be able to break it if he needed to escape.
He looked directly at Lin Luan and asked:
"So what do you want to teach me?"
Lin Luan smiled as she got closer to him and pointed at his head, electricity ran out of her pointing finger immediately rushing to Duritz's brain and entering it before stimulating it for a few seconds, new memories started to rush into Yun Duritz's soul as he saw a younger version of Duritz and Luan talking with each other and laughing when suddenly a big burly man with a hairstyle similar to Duritz appeared, besides the hair there wasn't much resemblance between the current Duritz and the burly man but Yun Duritz understood that he was 'his father'.
The cultivation technique started to be unveiled to him by his father as he sat cross-legged in front of Luan and started to make hand seals according to the instructions that Luan sent to his soul.
The hand seals started to move the bloodline in his body as his skin turned red, his hair changed to a pale green color and his eyes opened only for them to reveal only white pupils, Yun Duritz was using the same rampage form that the dead Duritz used in their first fight!
However, he easily controlled his form as he got up and did a few punches, the space around the places he hit started to crack and distort and this was the power of his body alone, he hadn't used any ki to enhance his attacks.
Luan nodded as she saw him successfully and easily cultivating their most important technique, she knew it was impossible to fake a bloodline so his bloodline was genuine, Duritz was a person who wouldn't let his body end up in anyone's possession so if he was going to die he would have surely self-destructed, that meant there was no chance for the person in front of her to be an impostor!
This time as she got close she gave him a genuine hug as tears started to pour out of her eyes while saying:
"It's good to have you back Lil bro!"
Yun Duritz smiled as he reciprocated the hug, his form returned to normal as he said:
"Likewise sis."
She laughed awkwardly as she gave him a punch on the shoulder breaking it:
"Hahaha, you and your emotions."
Yun Duritz didn't laugh as he was in pain, he just gave her a shaky smile as he thought:
"The first one to die will be you, you damn annoying woman."
"Ok then let's get you to your room so you can continue cultivating, and don't come out until you are in the God Realm you understand? I don't want you to shame the name of your clan with your lousy cultivation!"
She immediately became stern as she gave him a glare changing her personality 180* degrees.
Yun Duritz followed her and came to a room specifically made for the inheritors of the clan to focus on their cultivations.
Since Yun Duritz was the sole inheritor the room was made rather small enough to accommodate him, it was simple decorated with a moderately sized bed, a couch, and a table where he could eat if he wanted to, there was a cauldron in the corner of the room for pill refining and a window that let the light of the sun in.
Lin Luan pushed him into the room and then closed it as she said:
"I will send you a man with herbs and resources along with pill recipes so you can improve your alchemy and cultivation at the same time, don't worry we will send you only the highest quality herbs and it doesn't matter if you fail a lot, our family is rich!"
Yun Duritz didn't mind being in-home arrest as he would be fed pills and resources, this meant he wouldn't have to venture into the unknown celestial realm with low strength and possibly die because of his lack of knowledge, he would get both information and resources as the young prince of the Lin Clan.
He looked through the window at the receding back of his 'sister' and smiled as he waited for the first batch of resources to be sent to his room.
