Chapter 32 - First Step in Business

After getting all the things settled and placed in their rightful place, two hours had gone by.

Now the beds had new bed linen on, the kitchen had groceries in the fridge, and the bathroom had toilet paper and soap.

It was finally looking like a home with living people rather than a show home.

They all gathered in the sitting room, where Yu Huiyin looked at her excited little brother. She handed him the smartphone and saw his happiness as he accepted it.

The first thing he did was to save Yu Huiyin and Old Man Han's phone numbers in the contacts.

After that, he and Assistant Song also exchanged their phone numbers, and after considering for a moment, Assistant Song asked for permission also to share the number with his boss.

At first, Yu Feihong was against it, but after considering that it had to do with Yu Huiyin, he agreed readily. He was also a little curious about this boss they kept talking about.

After staying for a short while, Yu Huiyin was casually chatting with Yu Feihong and Old Man Han, but after ensuring that they had settled well, she said her goodbye.

Neither Yu Feihong nor Old Man Han pressured her to stay, and she was relieved by it.

When she left the flat, she took a deep breath of relief. She had successfully convinced them to move without exposing her biggest secret.

Assistant Song drove Yu Huiyin back to the modern manor where she was living together with Xie Jingyu, but she found that, although it was already quite late, he had not returned yet.

After dropping her off, Assistant Song did not stay at the manor. Instead, he said his farewell and left Yu Huiyin to herself.

Yu Huiyin was not sure what she was expected to do. She was not used to being by herself, apart from when she was at work. She walked around the corridors aimlessly, only to find that the building was many times bigger than she had expected. She almost got lost trying to find her way around.

She encountered many servants while walking around, but all of them were acting as if they did not see her, pretending that she did not exist.

It was not that they were arrogant or rude to her, but these servants were also feeling confused and unsure about how to handle the fact that they had suddenly gotten a Madam.

They were polite and answered with friendly attitudes whenever she asked about something, but she soon found out that they had no intention of sharing any information with her.

Whenever she asked about Xie Jingyu, most of them were dodging the answer, or they were praising him up to above the clouds, but not actually answering what she wanted to know.

Up until now, she was still unsure about what exactly his job consisted of. She had understood that he was a businessman of some sort, but that was it. Why was it so hard to get information about this man?

After walking around the manor for an extended period of time, but not encountering Xie Jingyu, or anything interesting for that matter, she returned to the kitchen to see if there was anything she could do. However, the Chef instantly pushed her out.

The Chef was a man who took pride in his job. Although Yu Huiyin assured him that she was very skilled in the kitchen, he refused her entry and was even unhappy with her even trying to enter.

In the end, she had no other option than to return to the master bedroom, where she laid down on the bed, picked up her phone and began to do some research about the business she planned on investing in.

Her plan was very simple, she wanted to enter the entertainment industry. Not as a small-time assistant or a manager, she wanted to be the boss of a company.

She understood that this was a risky move on her part, but she was not willing to just give up.

The man who was her father was in the entertainment industry and had done so many grievous things to her entire family. She was not going to let him go easily.

The best would be if she somehow could make a business that grew to such a big size, that if she stomped her foot, then the entire entertainment circle would tremble. But she was also aware that this was something that would take a long time and she needed more than just money to succeed.

She knew that if she told Xie Jingyu about this, he would help her, but she was not willing to accept help. She wanted to do it herself. She wanted to be the one to exact her vengeance against her father personally.

Unfortunately things were not going to be easy. She had to earn the trust of artists somehow, and not only this, she also needed the capital to fight for them, run the company, and fight for resources for her artists.

Even if she earned more than fifty thousand yuan a month, this would never be enough to cover her expenses.

This was where her friend from the racing track came to her mind. Although Yu Huiyin's main aim was to enter the entertainment industry, she was not opposed to entering other fields of business first. And this man, whom she was thinking about, was perfect to work together with.

He was a hacker who had lived with his life on the edge for many years. He refused to hack anything that could bring people's lives in danger. Hence he was not very successful, but his skills were undenied.

Yu Huiyin had heard him say that he was inventing a game, but he lacked the funds to bring it to the stage of completion. She thought that if they worked together, this could be the first business venture for her.
