Chapter 52 Looking ahead

Chapter 52 Looking ahead

Whoosh. Tak.

A carrot's end was barely cut straight and Yue Li cleared the sweat away from her forehead. She also put away her Spark and breathed ruggedly.

"Not even nearly at Average proficiency but there is progress," Han Li nodded and then looked at Liyue who was walking around the room with a long stick in her hands.

He had wanted to take her to the weapon shop but still tried out some things that were in their home to see whether any of them suited her.

And indeed a long stick, or a makeshift spear, really suited her. Even her nervous attitude suited the weapon clearly. Of course, the spear had its dominant sides that she ill have to learn.

But just like Yue Li, she had no talent for coordinating herself while her Senses were expanded because of the Spark. So, she was doing exactly what Yue Li did on the first day.

Trying to walk with the Spark at hand. At first, she was very embarrassed to do such things but seeing Yue Li do what he said, she also followed.

Han Li looked at her sweating profusely as she walked and nodded in approval. This kind of training was also given to Adults who chose to have their Evolution in the clan. Even Li Yun would have been given some of these pieces of training for the last few weeks by one of the Eleven Evolved before he chose to go through his Evolution. But the Clan never bothers to attempt to make someone a master at something.

Being as proficient as a Master at something was not just up to training. Talent, circumstances, and suitability all mattered. The most that training alone can make some reach would be High Proficiency. As for true Mastery of any Stage on any weapon, to reach it meant you were part of the Elites of your Stage.

Seeing that they were doing fine, he chose to focus on his own matters. He had to train his body to strength after all.

They would also have to start doing it, but for now, he decided to let them focus on their senses and self-control first.

Taking out his white robe, he got comfortable in some tight white pants and started doing some pushups, The girls looked at him for a while and then focused back on their own training.

Han Li's body was on the slimmer side and his muscles were not very prominent. But his body overall felt like someone who had worked for his food.

It wasn't eye-catching and handsome, but it wasn't in any way ugly. "Don't focus on me and just keep your training up. Do not slack even if you feel there is no progress."

The girls nodded to themselves and started putting in more effort. Even Liyue who was at first reluctant to put in effort was feeling enthusiastic.

Even if someone else got their hands on the sword, they could never easily bind it to them. But if someone who was extremely good with the Dao of Life or someone...

Someone who was an inheritor of one of the other 6 Sacred Eyes and by proxy a Sacred Demon inheritor were to get his hands on it. It was basically giving Han Li's life to their hands.

They were the only type who could steal his sword. That was why when Yue Li used her Spark on his Sword, he had no fear.

As for Kevin who bound the sword to himself. That was just the basics of the basic binding of a treasure like this. The man had attempted to use his own blood to make the sword his.

That was why when Han Li finally bound it for real using his Life Type Spark, Lust Spark, the sword had started bleeding out the blood that was forced into it.

But if, if someone else of Life type came and used his sword. That would be Han Li's death too.

This sword was a major weakness of his infront of some people like himself.

He had to be extremely cautious with it.

Huu...

He breathed out. Sacred Lust Continent might seem peaceful, but he had seen far too much to believe in that.

For now, everything was orderly and in control of the major powers of the continent. But for how long?

He knew it was not for long. Chaos will surely arise.

Only with strength that could literally awe armies can he stand against it when the time comes.

Armies with might that mortals couldn't even fathom.

For now though... he hid the crimson shine of his eyes.

It was time to train.
