Chapter 42: UNTITLED

In the middle of a garden filled with nothing but white roses, a truly mind-blowing kind of beauty. A twelve-year-old Alicia was sitting in-between the beautiful roses with her head on top of a lap of a young girl who looked exactly like her. She had beautiful eyes, with an endless kind of smile. Alicia kept talking to the girl without stopping, the little girl gave all her attention to Alicia. The day looked more beautiful than any summer ever imaginable, but in between the harmonious chatter Alicia heard the young girl say to her, "You have to wake up little Ally, I can't stay here any longer." And with those words Alicia gasped for air breathlessly and opened her eyes. She found herself in tears, more like she had been crying profusely for a long time, yet she couldn't remember the dream she had just woken up from.

"Another bad dream kiddo?" asked Paul who had been sitting next to Alicia for the last two-hours silently watching his little girl sleeping. Alicia smiled when she noticed the concern in Paul's eyes and answered him with, "Just one of those dreams that I can't remember dad, don't worry about it." Paul smiled as he nodded his head. He then stood from the sofa and handed Alicia a glass of water and said, "Kiddo, dad wants to ask you something, but I need you to be completely honest with me okay." And with a simple nod Paul continued with, "When you met the young man you brought to our house, what did he ask you exactly?" Alicia was silent for a few moments before she looked at her father knowingly. She understands what her father was trying to say, but Walker was also a puzzle for her as well, she remembered everything she spoke with him that day as if it was yesterday.

THE NIGHT OF THE DATE:

Liam had been gazing upon her for a while after their dessert was served, she couldn't pin-point what he had on his mind, and out of nowhere he asked her, "So have you always only had an older brother?" Alicia was confused by his question, yet he simply continued with, "I hear that the Adams family had three kids growing up yet a few years ago one of the kids disappeared. But when I came back to Britian your family somehow only has two kids. Why does your family hide the existence of the third child? And if so, then are you truly the last born of the family or not?"
