"Lest, I need you to make some offspring."
Lest was kneeling, looking down at the second progenitor's feet.
"Your wish is my command."
"Good, this is what I like about you."
Listening to the second progenitor's order, Lest began making his way into the forest.
It was only the second day since all of the vampires were transported to this unknown apocalyptic world. Just like all the other races, they too were pulled out of their homes and thrown into this mysterious place.
Lest was a relatively young vampire, well, at 300 years old, he was only at the beginning of his life. He had a full head of pure white hair, gently flowing as he walked through the rough terrain.
He searched the area, looking for a settlement of humans. After having no luck for a little while, Lest quickened his pace, running through the forest like a lightning bolt. To any passers-by, all one would be able to see was a white blur.
Finally, after searching for several minutes, he managed to see a very small camp. It had only four huts and seemingly four people inhabiting them. He made his way out from behind the trees and looked over at the humans.
"Heyo~" his voice was eerily musical.
The humans turned around in shock.
"What the hell? Who are you?" one of them shouted.
Now, which ones do I want, he wondered.
He had a quick look at the humans. If he wanted to make offspring, he would have to drink their blood, although, he'd have to do it before he killed them.
Ah, I don't want offspring who are too weak~
After a short inspection, he drew his crimson-red sword and dashed toward the humans. In one swift strike, he instantly cut down three of them. The only one remaining was a young girl, she managed to block the attack with a shield at the last moment.
"Ah, so you're the strongest one here~"
"Wha... w-what are you doing...? No... did you... kill them...?"
She still hadn't completely realised what had happened.
"Alright, you get to be a vampire now~"
Before she had time to think, Lest grabbed her by the arm and sunk his teeth into her neck.
"...ah... stop... please..."
Slowly, Lest drank the warm, metallic blood from the girl's neck. Eventually, he let go and the girl fell to the ground. A small pool of red liquid dripped from Lest's mouth, he showed a smile.
"...what happened...?" the girl asked.
"You're a vampire now~"
"...what?"
"What's your name?"
"My... name...?"
Lest leant down and lifted her chin.
"Yes, tell me your name."
"No... no... go away from me...!"
"Ah, it's too late now, you're already my offspring."
He grabbed her arm and lifted her up.
"Come on, tell me your name, please~"
Tears were forming in her eyes, she was in complete despair.
"Ah, this is no good~"
Seeing the scene, Lest drew his weapon once again. Gently, he made a cut on his wrist. Out of the wound, some dark red liquid flowed.
"Here, this should calm you down."
He held his wrist against her mouth. Involuntarily, the girl began drinking Lest's blood, taking in gulp after gulp.
"Hey, leave some for me~"
He pulled his arm away from her.
A few moments later, the girl seemed to have completely calmed down.
Lest tried speaking to her again.
"What's your name?"
"I-I'm, Celie."
"Celie huh? I don't like that name very much, let me think... ah! Your name will be Celeste from now on."
"Ce...leste?"
"Yes! That'll be your name~"
Lest got up from the ground and began making his way back into the forest. Celeste followed behind him, seemingly being pulled by some invisible force. The two of them walked through the woods, as Lest searched for his next target. After a little while, he suddenly stopped, as if he noticed something.
"Ah, where's your weapon?"
"M-my... weapon?"
"Say 'come to me, sword', okay?"
"Um... come to me... sword."
Suddenly, a sheath appeared on the side of her hip. It wasn't as elegant as the Lest's but it still appeared very clean. A few moments later, the particles which were surrounding her eventually, dissipated, leaving her with a brand new sword.
"Haha, it's always fun to watch that happen~"
"W-what is this?"
"It's your sword, take good care of it~"
Now that Celeste had received her weapon, the two of them began making their way through the woods, zipping around the trees. Now that she had become a vampire, Celeste's physical abilities had become much stronger, she was much faster and much more agile than before.
The two of them travelled through the forest, searching for any humans they could find. Eventually, a little bit in the distance, they caught sight of two people walking around. From Lest's judgement, he didn't think they looked very strong.
Ah, they're not really my type~
"Hey, Celeste, go kill those two and drink their blood."
"Eh?! But... I..."
"Go on, blood's very tasty, you know~"
Motivated by her desire for more blood, Celeste drew her weapon and charged toward the two humans. After becoming a vampire and drinking Lest's blood, she had slowly begun to lose her humanity, losing sight of her rationality.
Blood was all that she could think of.
The two people quickly turned around and took out their weapons. Celeste swung her sword, slashing at their bodies. They quickly blocked with their own weapons. However, Celeste was much stronger.
She knocked one to the ground.
She stabbed the other one in the chest.
"That's right, now drink their blood~"
She jumped on top of the one who had fallen to the ground. After pinning them down, she lowered her head, sinking her fangs into their neck.
"Ahh! Stop... please..."
Eventually, they lost consciousness.
She continuously slurped blood out of their neck until she had had enough.
The other one slowly bled to death on the ground, staining the dirt with red.
"Good job Celeste~"
"I... I just killed them..."
"That's right~"
As she got back up, the situation started getting to her head.
"Ah, you're probably not used to it yet, but tell me this, did it taste good?"
"Y-yes... it tasted good..."
"That's it! Follow your desires, if you want to drink blood, drink it."
"Blood... blood tastes good..."
"Haha, now you get it!"
As Lest began walking once again, the invisible force started to pull Celeste toward him. The two of them continued to explore the woods.
