Chapter 222 Raid

Darkness was rising as the sun went down. Chloe and I were on our way home, discussing the new minions. Chloe said, "This training was very fruitful. Both the intelligence variants and brute force minions turned out to be great successes."

"Yes, but now we will need more warrior minions to train them to these advanced stages. There are six stages in total. Imagine what these minions will be capable of when they reach the sixth stage. A brute minion alone would be enough to take down a whole city."

"Yes, you're right. And with the way the intelligence variants have upgraded, they will be able to provide the best battle strategies in the future."

"You're right, but for that we will need a lot of resources and time. Training at advanced levels takes a lot of time."

We reached my house while talking about this stuff and sat down on the chairs. We talked about the future and other things, and then I asked Chloe to join me for dinner. We talked for a long time, so before she left, I wanted to have dinner with her.

After dinner, she left and I lay on the bed waiting for sleep to come. The next morning was quite blessed; I slept peacefully because after seeing the power of my brute force minions, I was relaxed. The threat of zombies and Gandalf now seemed minor to me.

When I stepped out of the house, I saw one of the intelligence variant minions standing in front of the house. He was standing in front of the door and had returned after I sent them away the day before. When he saw me step out, he came forward and said he had information about a village.

My eyes sparkled because this was information about a village we could attack and take under control. I had programmed the minions to bring information about places with abundant resources and little army presence. Now it was time for me to prepare the army. But before that, I wanted to know more about the village.

I told the minion to provide me with thorough information about the place. He gave me a paper with a map of the village. The intelligence variant came closer and began explaining.

The village had a boundary wall encircling the whole area. The minion told me it was a stone wall, two hands wide. However, the gate to the village was made of wood and could easily be broken. If not, it could be set on fire to break it easily.

I asked if he had gone inside the city and he nodded before continuing his explanation. He pointed to six large buildings, which were bigger than any other buildings in the village. The minion told me these were six storage areas and contained a lot of resources. One storage was filled with food, and another had stones and wood.

"Do you know the exact number of their resources?"

"No, my lord. However, I know about the strength of the humans in that village."

"Great. So how many humans are there, and can they all fight?"

He pointed to some houses in the village, which looked like huts to me. He said these were the houses of humans who couldn't fight. They prepared food, collected resources, and built things, but they couldn't fight. There were about 60 houses, but they were very small and didn't take up much space in the village. He told me that 100 people lived in these houses and weren't soldiers.

He then pointed to some buildings that looked like barracks to me, with an empty ground in front of them. The minion told me these were barracks and all the soldiers from the village lived in them. There were young men and women, fierce warriors who were well

"How many soldiers are we looking at here?"

"My lord, there are 70 warriors who live in those barracks and would fight for their village."

Total of 170 humans, and among them, only 70 people can fight. This was going to be a great battle, and I was going to win it with my great minion army.

I made one final careful observation.

The village was surrounded by rolling hills and fields of crops. The main street was lined with small houses and shops, and at the centre of the village was a large town square with a well in the middle. The storage buildings were located on the outskirts of the village, near the boundary wall. The barracks were located on the opposite side of the village, near a training ground where the soldiers could be seen practising their combat skills. The air was filled with the sounds of clashing swords and the shouts of the soldiers as they trained. It was clear that this was a well-defended village, but I was confident that my minions would be able to overcome their defences.

As I listened to the intelligence variant minion's report, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building inside me. I had always enjoyed a good battle, and the thought of taking on a well-defended village with my powerful minions was thrilling.

I turned to the minion and said, "Excellent work. This village sounds like a worthy opponent. I'll need to gather our forces and come up with a strategy for the attack."

The minion nodded and replied, "Yes, my lord. I recommend we use a combination of brute force minions to take down the boundary wall and warrior minions to engage the enemy soldiers. The intelligence variants can provide support by gathering information and coming up with battle strategies on the fly."

I nodded thoughtfully, considering the minion's suggestion. "Yes, that sounds like a good plan. But we'll need to be careful. Even with our advanced minions, we can't underestimate the strength of the human warriors. We'll need to make sure our attack is swift and precise."

The minion nodded again and said, "Understood, my lord. I will begin preparing the minions for the attack immediately."

I smiled, a sense of determination filling me. "Good. We'll strike at dawn. With our minions at our side, victory is certain."
