"Alright Master Nathan, to find an explanation of this issue, I will start by explaining about the pocket dimension and monster dungeons." Luna began speaking with an enthusiastic tone.
"A Pocket Dimension is just like a small part of an existing planet where the magic energy within it is much higher than usual. The space inside the pocket dimension isn't bound to any shape or form, so anything can be created there, including buildings, cities, machines... etcetera." She explained eagerly. "The thing about it is that even though everything inside that dimension exists, they are completely invisible to our eyes, or other people outside the dimension." She added in an excited voice before pausing for a moment.
"Monster Dungeon is an example of a pocket dimension attached to its parent world. Therefore, dungeons in the New World also limit the level of anyone who enters it. Because the pocket dimension has the same rules and tiers as its parent." Luna said with her hands outstretched.
Nathan stared at her intensely. His face showed signs of frustration after hearing her explain things he already knew about. "But how did I visit two worlds without using a teleportation gate?" He asked confusedly while pointing at his own chest.
"Master," Luna answered him while looking away from his direction while she was trying to think through a way to explain things. "Crescent Moon Dimension, that dimension clearly has a different tier than the New World. From here, we can conclude that the Crescent Moon Dimension is connected to another world. In your case, a requirement to visit two worlds is fulfilled, even if you only visited its pocket dimension." She replied hesitantly.
He tilted his head curiously in thought. "Okay..." He started but then shook his head slowly and then sighed deeply in thought. "Now, what makes me curious is what kind of world is connected to the crescent moon dimension? A Yunatea? Or maybe another world? What do I need to know about this? Am I going to be attacked by anyone if they enter that dimension? And how dangerous would it be?" He asked quietly, with a frown on his lips.
Luna nodded thoughtfully before speaking. "The likelihood of someone else discovering and infiltrating the pocket dimension is slim," she added quickly, "unless they have a higher affinity for spatial and dimensional magic than the one that created it."
"That sounds good enough." Nathan muttered.
Luna added calmly. "And there aren't any monsters there either."
"Then you mentioned spatial and dimensional spells. So, are those two different elements? Or will the element I will get from this quest cover both of them?" He asked.
Luna looked at him questioningly while shaking her head slightly. "Spatial Elements are elements that manipulate space around us." She explained carefully. "They allow one to travel long distances through space and do some manipulation to the space itself. For example, the ability to teleport, spatial attack, barrier creation, or even flight." She added.
He nodded. "And Dimensional elements?"
"Dimensional elements are elements that have the ability to manipulate the dimensions of our universe," Luna began, speaking as if she were reading from a book out of curiosity. "They're more powerful than regular spatial elements. With a strong affinity to the element, one can access deeper levels in dungeons, pocket dimensions, and other worlds. It also allows users to connect to other realms and dimensions, or even create portals between them. The higher the affinity of the user to the dimensional element, the more they can manipulate their dimension and the more power they can bring forth."
Nathan smiled brightly as he saw Luna smiling happily and excitedly as she explained everything clearly.
He chuckled a little. "Well... That explains a lot."
"Yes, it does. With even the lowest affinity of ancient Spatial elements, you will no longer have difficulty using your Emergency Escape skill, or you can even create a new skill like a flash step and the like!" She exclaimed cheerfully.
Nathan grinned broadly in agreement with her enthusiasm before halting himself with a thoughtful expression. He then took a deep breath before speaking quietly and thoughtfully, "Okay, now what I need to do is wait until I can visit Yunatea and confirm whether the Crescent Moon Dimension is connected to that world or not." He murmured softly.
"That's right, Master," Luna replied slowly while looking at him curiously. "Are you ready for the next quest?"
He was still in the bathtub. Nathan took the hot water and splashed it on his body. "This feels good after such a long time." He hummed happily.
He nodded. "I guess so. Alright, let's go for the next quest."
[Golem Creator 2/5]
[...]
[Create 5 Golems]
[Progress: 2/5]
[Rewards:]
[70,000 Skill Points]
[1 Skill Slot]
[Bonus Rewards:]
[1 Golem Commander Trait Infusion Token]
"Commander Trait Infusion? What is that?" Nathan asked as he looked away from Luna to think about what that meant. "Wait, a minute..." he muttered to himself. "Could this be that I can infuse my golem with such an intelligence trait on them?" He said with a serious voice and thoughtful expression, then continued, "But, I need to make another 3 golems for this." He asked.
Luna nodded. She had already expected the question and explained it further. "Yes, you need to create three of them. You can easily achieve them by doing the personal golem creation multiple times, but who knows that you might get a worse golem than what you have created before." She added carefully while smiling. "You can also choose to create a new skill for another golem creation, but that will only take more skill slots from you." She said slowly and hesitantly.
"I might choose another golem related skill, like creating another kind of golem or improving my golems abilities. You know, I am very interested in experimenting with these golems." He answered thoughtfully and smiled again.
She giggled cheerfully at his answer. "Then there is no reason not to try it," she replied cheerfully. "Shall we continue the quest?"
"Yes," Nathan replied without hesitation as he started thinking through the combinations of things he could do now that he knew about this token. "And I think the next quest will be the last one?" Nathan asked as he turned back to Luna.
Luna looked up at him excitedly. "Of course!"
[Grim Reaper 1/10]
[...]
[Create 2 skills related to this Class.]
[Progress: 1/2]
[Rewards:]
[50,000 Skill Points]
[1 New Skill Slot]
"That's right, I only created one skill related to this class so far. The Grim reaper seems powerful. But for some reason, its name makes me a bit anxious." He muttered quietly with a worried face.
Luna shook her head curiously and chuckled. "This doesn't look so scary, Master," she said with a teasing voice and a smile. "Maybe because it looks like you are going to be a killer for this class, to begin with." She added. "You know since you have already killed a hundred monsters within the past few weeks, and even a few humans?" She asked cheerfully, trying to ease his fear.
"Well... yeah, maybe that's true..." He replied nervously while taking deep breaths to calm himself down.
She laughed out loud at his response while smiling at him lovingly. "And why don't you complete this quest right away? You only need to create one skill, and you will receive 1 skill slot. You will also unlock the next tier of the quest. How exciting!" Luna exclaimed happily.
Nathan nodded slowly but then stopped. "You know, Luna. Creating a skill is really stressful. I postponed it several times just because I still don't have a clear idea about what kind of skill will be optimal and efficient for me in the long run." He explained calmly.
"So, I decided to have various options and immediately created the skills I needed depending on the situation I was in." He continued.
Luna looked up at him and nodded. "Yes. Master Nathan, the world needs people like yourself who can overcome difficulties and surpass obstacles without letting them stop you from moving forward, not to mention achieving your goals," she answered quickly with determination.
"Okay, to conclude everything is I will look for elite grade artifacts at the auction. From now on, I will kill monsters with only fire elements, and hope to encounter two more elite monsters. Then I will make 3 more golems, maybe by creating a new golem related skill. Lastly, I will also think about a new skill related to the grim reaper class."
After hearing all his plans, Luna's eyes widened. "That's right Master." She replied confidently.
"Okay, I hear Linda calling me from downstairs. I have to hurry."
"Hummu, hummu." Luna nodded quickly. "Ms. Linda really seemed to replace Ms. Edna's duty, huh? She always prepares food and clothes for you every day, Master?" she asked.
"Hmmm..." He answered, silent for a moment. "I don't think there will be anyone who could replace her." He smiled. "I miss her already."
Luna looked at him with an astonished face before laughing quietly. After calming herself down, she said while looking at him shyly, "Master, did you already notice?"
He paused again after hearing that question as he was about to leave the room. He turned back to Luna and slowly raised his eyebrow, waiting for the answer to his question.
She blushed a little and then took a deep breath. Finally, she looked up at him seriously and answered calmly, "Is it a sign of love?"
Nathan's eyes widened in surprise. He just nodded silently with a smile on his lips, "Sure, I love her. Edna has done so much for me. And I really appreciate it too. I care for her."
"No, not that kind of love! I meant it like 'you're going to fall in love with someone.' Is it like that, Master?" she clarified carefully.
"Well..." He chuckled softly and left the room, ignoring her.
