In the morning, Nathan woke up late to find that everyone had already left the room. He could hear the chatter and laughter of his friends outside, as well as Muramoto being teased by Linda.
He quickly straightened his clothes, brushed away the layer of frost, and stepped out of the room.
His eyes were instantly drawn to the bright sun that lit up everything. The light felt refreshing against his face after a long, intense night in the blizzard. The snow was still thick around the shelter, which seemed to have been cleared by his fellow comrades.
The other four gathered around the fireplace and seemed to have prepared themselves in battle attire. They turned to Nathan and waved their hands.
"Oppa!" Linda beamed as she noticed Nathan approach her first. She tapped on her shoulder, causing her to smile awkwardly. "How was your sleep, Oppa? Did you realize that I hugged you last night?" She said.
"Linda-chan... you don't need to go into details about what you did, right?" Muramoto replied.
"I don't care what you say, Muramoto." She replied.
"Morning, Mr. Nathan." Meriel turned toward him with a friendly expression on her face.
"Hi, Meriel..." Nathan replied, then he sat down between them, joining in on the conversation.
"What is this for breakfast? My stomach growled as it smelt the cooking. He said with a bright smile.
"This is bear meat again, but I mixed it with flour like rice. I saw you humans like to eat rice, so I tried to imitate it." Yudan said.
"Really, this is truly amazing, Yudan." Nathan accepted the bowl Yudan gave him and started to eat it slowly.
Nathan closed his eyes and smiled widely, enjoying his food. "I didn't expect, in a place like this, I can still taste 5 star hotel food, haha or even 6 star." He said, but Yudan didn't respond to his compliment.
"So, what will happen today? Is everyone ready?" Nathan asked, turning to everyone.
"Your golems are really reliable," Yudan remarked, gesturing to the two golems sitting against the trees with their bodies blanketed in snow. "They fetched us the herbs I need for cold resistance potion."
"Really?," Nathan smiled in response.
He then wondered what his golems were doing at night and realized he had leveled up one more time.

Out of curiosity, Nathan checked the quest information of his class to find out about their other achievements.
And he discovered that his mission to slay 100 monsters with fire elements from the Flame Sword Warrior Class had been a success. Nathan smiled in delight. "Time to claim the reward," he said softly.

Nathan quickly put the item away and decided to take care of it later when he had some peace and quiet time.
"Alright everyone! Let's head to our plan today. Anyone have something to say?" Nathan asked.
The other four responded with nods.
"So, Nathan-san," Muramoto said. "Me, Linda-chan, and Yudan-san have had enough sleep last night and we are all ready with the cold resistance potion Yudan-san made too. Meanwhile, Meriel-chan needs more time to recover her stamina." He stopped and faced Meriel.
However, Meriel was silent and nodded softly.
"Okay then," Nathan nodded. "I have something to think about here, and I feel it is more optimal for me to go hunting at night. So today I will accompany Meriel here. But..." He stopped and looked at Meriel.
"Would you mind if you don't get enough experience from hunting monsters, Meriel?" he asked.
Meriel raised her head, looked at Nathan with soft eyes, and then shook her head. "Don't worry, Mr. Nathan," she said. "Dark elves level up differently from humans. So, in your last night's hunt, I also got a level up. Even in the fight against the Elite Bear yesterday, I got a level up too." She explained.
"What?! Really?" Nathan immediately felt that he was experiencing something unfair, as he was the only one who didn't gain experience from that battle. "I just found out that each race has its own method of gaining levels."
Nathan looked to Yudan and asked, "Do dwarves also level up differently, Yudan?"
Yudan nodded quickly. "Yes, we are a race that is closely tied to our life skill sets, such as blacksmithing and the like. We level up by creating something, but of course we still get levels by killing monsters. But this way, we dwarves don't have to keep killing monsters to keep progressing."
Nathan nodded softly, "It's really unique, I'm curious about who created this system."
"Do you know, Nathan? Not all races are blessed with a System like the one you guys use." Yudan said.
"What? Really? Why do I know so little about this? Does that mean, you Dwarfs and Elves don't have a system?" Nathan asked.
Yudan shook his head. "We do have a system, but I'm sure our system isn't as complete as the Humans'. And other races, like Monsters and those with lower intelligence, don't have transparent screens in front of them like we do. They just hunt and level-up naturally."
"I see... That's really new information for me."
After another discussion and preparation, the other three finally left.
Nathan and Meriel were the only two left. They were both silent, and no one spoke. Nathan was finishing his breakfast while Meriel lowered her head and played with a small stick she had thrown into the fire.
"This is so good." Nathan said after he finished his breakfast.
He suddenly noticed a small black box inside a transparent bubble coming closer to him. A beam of light shone from the box onto the ground, creating a holographic figure.
"What is that?" Nathan exclaimed in surprise.
