Chapter 100 Soloing The Battle

Videos of Nathan's fights against his opponents were repeatedly played in slow motion so that every move and action was clearly visible to the audience. It was clear from the video that Nathan could execute his movements with great efficiency; he used his feet and kicks to dominate his opponents, leaving the audience filled with awe and admiration.

Anonymous Cow: "Are you certain he's been confined to a wheelchair for the last decade? How could he have become so skilled at fighting with his feet?"

Anonymous Deer: "This is unbelievable!"

Nathan was careful not to deliver any lethal blows; instead, his strikes were designed to incapacitate his opponents and prevent them from continuing to fight.

In contrast, Linda was far more brutal; her fire spells flew through the air with devastating force, while her greatsword, clearly a formidable weapon, was able to block and strike any attack that was directed her way with lightning-fast speed.

Nathan and Linda were engaging in a more reckless battle, while Meriel, Yudan, and Muramoto were relying on each other for their safety. Meriel, with her agility and adaptive abilities, was looking to keep Muramoto in a secure position to provide support to the others. Yudan, while having limited skills in direct combat, was fighting with deadly precision due to the various boosts he was taking from his potions.

They had accomplished a remarkable feat: with only five of them, they had managed to take out nearly one-third of their opponents. Many had been vanquished, most had fled the arena, and some had even been killed. Those remaining had grouped together at a single point, ready to prepare themselves for the next round. They had to be prepared for anything, especially with the long-distance magic-casting strategy they were about to use.

"They've been cornered and lost heavily on their side," Yudan said. "But why are they still forcing the fight?"

Nathan and the others gathered at one point, keeping a safe distance from the Void, who were gathering and preparing to attack. They had to ensure they weren't too far away to flee the fight but also not too close to putting their less defensively skilled team members in danger.

"Becoming a New Earth Hunter and joining the CEHA is no small feat. A significant amount of money must be collected, and those who are accepted into this prestigious academy can look forward to a bright future. For that reason, they don't want to give up so easily." Muramoto explained slowly.

"So they're really desperate!" Yudan exclaimed.

"Yes. For them, this is a fight of life and death," Muramoto added. "So they are willing to take the risk and exhaust their remaining forces."

"Still," Linda continued with a big smile and sharp eyes, "they are so foolish if they keep trying to fight when they know they have no chance of winning!"

"So do we," Nathan said. "By serving what they are fighting for, we demonstrate our respect for their decision. This determination indicates whether they are truly prepared to become genuine Hunters or not." he declared.

Everyone nodded at Nathan's words.

"Meriel," Nathan said quietly. "I need your help."

Meriel immediately nodded and walked over to him, bringing her face close to Nathan's right neck.

They were locked in an embrace. It was as if they had been swept up in the heat of the moment, embracing and passionately kissing in the middle of a battle, causing people around them to gasp in disbelief. Even those watching the scene live couldn't contain their surprise.

Anonymous Monkey: "That guy is so rude! How dare he do that during a fight!"

Anonymous Cat: "He's way too sure of himself. It's unbelievable!"

Anonymous Horse: "Oh my goodness! Are they... are they actually kissing?"

Anonymous Pig: "No, it looks more like Meriel is drinking Nathan's blood, like a vampire."

Meriel released her grip on Nathan, and her face suddenly looked pale. Linda quickly helped the girl to her feet.

"Thank you, Meriel," Nathan said as he touched the bite marks on his neck. His mana and stamina were already restored.

"I'm going to take them on." Nathan nodded and took a deep breath. "They need to know we won't be bullied." He spoke confidently. "Yudan, Linda, Muramoto, stay here and watch from a safe distance. I'll take care of the rest. Fang can move quickly, so it can stay here to help you if you guys need more mobility."

Nathan then directed his gaze to Linda.

"Don't worry, Oppa. I'll take care of them," she said with a smile.

Nathan gave the nod before slowly turning around to face his opponent, who was standing several feet away. He stood tall and prepared himself for the upcoming challenge.

Anonymous Hippo: "Is Nathan really planning to face off against the entire group by himself? That's insane!"

Anonymous Monkey: "He must be out of his mind! That's a surefire way to get himself killed!"

Anonymous Cat: "Maybe he's got a death wish or something."

Anonymous Horse: "No way, this is totally ridiculous!"

Nathan sighed quietly as Luna appeared and hovered near him. "I have to take this route," he said. "If I continue to try and survive alongside my party members, it will become increasingly difficult to dodge magic attacks from a distance. Therefore, I'm going to go after them and make them throw all their power at me."

"You are truly a beloved main character, Master," Luna said with a light chuckle.

Nathan then began running at a steady pace towards the dozens of people who had formed a magic formation, ready to launch tens or even hundreds of magic attacks from afar.

"I have many ways to escape," he said. "It's not a big problem for me."

Tens of magic missiles in various shapes and colors were hurled from far away. Some resembled fireballs, while others were sent like bullets. Nathan activated all of his passive skills and then used his Lightning Step. In an instant, he could perceive the tens of magic missiles slowly advancing toward him. Swiftly, he leaped to the side to dodge the barrage of magic missiles that caused a tremendous detonation on the icy terrain.

Nathan kept his mind focused on the task at hand as he dodged magic missile after magic missile. He ducked, dived, and rolled, always keeping one step ahead of the barrage. His feet were a blur as he ran, his body almost seeming to float over the ground as he moved. He twisted and turned, always moving his body to avoid the magic missiles as they flew past him.

His reflexes were lightning-quick as he avoided one after another. He was almost dancing with his dodging move. He ran in a zig-zag pattern, managing to nimbly dodge the raining magic missiles, and barely any of them hit him.

Everyone watching was in utter disbelief at the sight of Nathan's actions. They couldn't believe what they were witnessing.

Anonymous Lizard: "Man! That is insane!"

Anonymous Horse: "No way!"

Anonymous Deer: "He is not human!"

Anonymous Lion: "He could be a half dragon or something!"

Nathan moved with lightning speed, dodging and weaving through the hundreds of magic missiles that were being fired at him. He was fast, but the sheer number of spells being cast at him was overwhelming. He had to stay one step ahead of his opponents if he wanted to survive.

"I can't do this any longer, my Stamina and mana will run out again," Nathan said as he focused all his concentration in search of any little chance he could take advantage of. When he felt the moment had come, he dashed towards a group of people who were forming formations, with tanks and warriors standing at the front. He shouted, "Dragon Breath," and his sword burst into flames.

But something unexpected happened; everyone in front of him dropped their weapons and raised their hands. But he had already cast his skill and nimbly threw it into the sky, sending his body flying backward.

Anonymous Hippo: "They surrendered? Nathan actually won?"

Anonymous Horse: "Yes, he did it! Nathan won! Can you believe it? This is absolutely hilarious!"

However, the camera then panned to something else in the distance, revealing the true reason why The Void had surrendered and thrown down their weapons: a power higher than the chaos they were currently facing.

Anonymous Eagle: "The Kings are coming. They're the team who are currently in first place on the leaderboard."
