[You've got a reward of 70,000 Skill Points]

[You've got a reward of 1 New Skill Slot]

[You've got a reward a Lightning Thief Bracelet]

Nathan successfully completed the Stormweaver route quest as the Elite Monsters were quickly approaching. "Great! Let's see what rewards I've got here," he exclaimed excitedly while maintaining a safe distance from the advancing monsters.

[Lightning Thief Bracelet]

[Grade: Elite]

[Durability: 100/100]

[This relic is an ancient artifact of immense power, crafted centuries ago by a powerful wizard. It is said to be imbued with the essence of lightning, granting its wearer the ability to capture and control the power of lightning. Legends tell of its incredible power and of its ability to bring about miraculous feats.]

[Skills:]

[1. Lightning Thief: Captures lightning strikes near the user within 10 seconds and channels them into the Bracelet. After the 10 seconds is up, the Bracelet fires all the lightning strikes at once at a target, dealing the same amount of damage it had before being captured.

Cooldown: 60 minutes.]

[2. Lightning Flash: Create a flash of lightning to blind enemies or to create a dazzling light show.

Cooldown: 60 seconds.]

Nathan smiled in satisfaction as he grasped the capabilities of his new piece of equipment. "With the thunder cloud, I can't guarantee that the lightning strikes that fall to the ground will hit my opponents with pinpoint accuracy," he said.

"But this Bracelet can collect all of the lightning strikes within 10 seconds and I can use it to attack my opponent with my own control! Even though this artifact is at the Elite grade, I think the power it gives me is even greater than the Elite weapons I already have." he added.

"I agree," Luna replied. "There's no explicit limit stated for the number of lightning strikes you can collect in ten seconds. Even though I'm sure there are limits that aren't clearly defined there. But, this can be a very dangerous artifact if used correctly."

"But, still, the cooldown of 60 minutes is a bit too long," Nathan said thoughtfully as he examined the artifacts' second skill. "And Lightning Flash? It's quite simple, but interesting."

Luna smiled encouragingly. "60 minutes is a fair amount of time, master. If you can absorb more lightning strikes in that 10 seconds, the damage you'll be dealing with will be truly incredible."

Nathan nodded, his gaze drawn to the Frost Giant's form as it rushed towards him and swung a large boulder at the ground. "Alright, I think this is good. Let's claim the second reward," he declared.

Nathan immediately focused all of his senses. "Thunder Cloud!" he shouted resolutely, and in response, dark clouds appeared above and covered the mass of monsters on the ground with menacing shadows. Explosions of thunder and lightning bolts instantly traveled across the sky and fell to the ground. However, something new happened, each lightning strike seemed to be aimed precisely at Nathan, and it all converged on the bracelet he had put on his right wrist.

Nathan jumped quickly, keeping his body balanced, jumping between the minotaurs who were trying to slash him with their axes. But his attention remained focused on the Frost Giant, who kept running towards him, trying to throw blows which also resulted in other small monsters in the area being knocked off the ground.

Nathan had only 10 seconds to dodge and prepare for the onslaught, but it felt like an eternity with the speed and agility of his movements.

"Dragon Breath!" Nathan cried out as the flames from his sword grew larger and larger.

"This skill can only be used once every 30 minutes, so I have to make the most of it," he thought as the countdown reached 10 seconds.

Nathan leaped into the air with such force that his body immediately became weightless. His right wrist was adorned with a bracelet that seemed to be charged with lightning, primed to burst forth with power. With a glance, Nathan could see a Frost Giant turning towards him, ready to strike. He knew that this time the victory was in his hands.

Nathan swooped down like a thunderbolt and released a tremendous explosion of lightning from his right hand, combined with an immense burst of flames from the sword in his left. In one powerful strike, Nathan collided with the Frost Giant's face, sending his own body hurtling through the air by the impact. To his surprise, he was met with a notification that he had miraculously defeated the elite monster with one hit!

Nathan was knocked to the ground with considerable force, but he quickly got back on his feet, dodging the monsters' attacks by jumping back a few times.

He had achieved his mission, a sign that this war would enter its next round. At the same time, Nathan could hear the screams of hundreds of people running toward him, armed and in pursuit.

Nathan stood tall, his two swords still glowing from the heat of the smoldering fire. Hundreds of monsters roared with ferocity toward him while his companions ran up from behind. Transparent information appeared in front of him.

[Nathan Gardner]

[Greed Meter: 55%]

[Bloodlust Meter: 35%]

"Don't tell me, do I have another meter this time?" Nathan said with satisfaction. "And 35%, does this mean some of my stats will increase by this much?"

"The system seems to think I'm a war maniac," He added.

"That's not wrong, Master," Luna said, followed by a chuckle.

Nathan raised his two swords, a determined glint in his eyes. "Okay, I feel that I can fight more optimally this time," he declared as the footsteps of people running towards them grew closer, and the screams of terror echoed around them.

Linda, Gydarra, Muramoto, and the others were standing beside Nathan, flashing encouraging smiles at him.

Linda, Gydarra, Muramoto, and the rest of the group beamed smiles at Nathan as they stood by his side. "Nathan Oppa, you're totally amazing!" Linda exclaimed, brandishing her greatsword.

"Master, I apologize for doubting you," Gydarra offered in a low voice.

Meriel rushed over to Nathan, offering her assistance with a friendly smile. "Let me help you, Mr. Nathan," she said. Immediately, she set to work, performing an action that had become all too common in recent days.

"Thank you, Meriel," Nathan replied, feeling grateful as his mana and stamina slowly returned.

Nathan then raised his two swords again. "Alright," he declared with confidence, "whoever kills the least will not be allowed to eat tonight." With a loud cheer, he sprinted back into the ever-growing horde of monsters.

In the same pocket dimension, at a particular location, four people suddenly appeared out of nowhere. They were representatives from CEHA's student council, sent to provide assistance to the entrance exam participants.

Olivia Aveline took charge, quickly surveying the area. "We're quite a distance from the heart of the battle, we must hurry!"

The other three nodded in agreement, then followed Olivia as she ran.

"I think this is really a waste," said someone running beside Lily. "What are we giving them help for? Then what's the point of having this entrance exam done?"

"Lewis..." Lily shook her head in response. "I never asked you to come with me, you know?"

"Pfft! I just want to have fun." Lewis retorted.

"Don't you want to show them, your juniors, how superior you are, Lewis?" Olivia asked.

"Ch! I don't really care about anyone," Lewis added.

Lewis had blonde hair, similar to Lily's, with short locks and a round shield affixed to his back. He was known to be adept with swords and a renowned tank role.

"But more than that," Olivia added, her tone conveying her sincere appreciation, "I'm really thankful to have you on board with us, Lewis. In a great battle like this, the tank role is going to be more useful than a mage, since it's harder to pull off area attacks when there are a lot of other combatants in the mix."

"No need to explain all that to me," Lewis replied, a slight edge to his voice.

Lily gave Lewis a subtle shake of her head in response.

Olivia and Lily were renowned for their skill with swords. Olivia was especially renowned for her graceful, almost dance-like swordplay, captivating onlookers with her finesse. Meanwhile, Lily was a genius fighter, able to make swift, efficient, and effective movements, making it easy for her to defeat her opponents in a clean, swift manner.

To complete their group of four, one more person acted as a support to help enhance their performance and provide protective aid when the trio engaged in battle.

"Alright, let's hurry up and run. Those monsters won't wait for us too long," Olivia said as the four of them sprinted between the frozen trees and ancient forest.
