Nathan ran with single-minded intensity, his goal clear in his mind: the Elite Frost Giant. Towering above the other monsters, even the mighty Minotaur was reduced to its knees in comparison. Nathan knew he would need to be careful and push himself to the limits if he hoped to triumph over the Frost Giant, for its Elite grade and level of 90 made it the most powerful of them all.
Gydarra dashed alongside Nathan, his eyes twinkling with joy and a broad, beaming smile spread across his face. "Let me take care of the rest, Master," he said confidently. "I guarantee that everything will run like clockwork. Now, please, finish off that poor giant who is clearly out of its depth."
Gydarra gracefully leaped forward, thrusting his sword out with a loud clang and immense force. The Minotaur buckled under the impact and, with one powerful slash, was sent flying away.
Gydarra fought with ferocity. His movements were exact and potent. The earth beneath his feet quaked whenever he struck, and a surge of energy exploded from his blade with each blow. He moved with a perfect union of agility and might. His strikes were quick yet strong.
Meriel ran alongside Nathan on his left. Her face lit up with a sweet smile. "Mr. Nathan," she said encouragingly, "I'm here to support you every step of the way!" She gave a quick nod and then took to the air, her black scythe in hand. Her movements were graceful and agile as she skillfully dispatched the monsters with a few swift swipes.
Her impressive agility enabled her to move swiftly and gracefully, almost gliding across the ground.
Nathan halted in mid-stride when he saw the frost giant barreling towards him. Simultaneously, he noticed a translucent sphere of energy enveloping his body, a buff provided by Muramoto.
Nathan turned to the side and saw Muramoto smiling at him, with a grimoire floating beside him.
"Come on, Nathan-san!" Muramoto encouraged, raising his right hand in the air. "Don't forget, the power of friendship is within you!"
Yudan quickly caught up and stopped next to Nathan. He then tossed a small bottle onto the ground, causing a red smoke to rise and engulf Nathan's body. Immediately, Nathan felt an immense surge of power and strength rush throughout his body.
"That's really a huge increase in strength, Yudan!" Nathan said with a faint smile. "I'll be sure to pass on your warm regards to that giant monster," he added.
The Elite Frost Giant let out a thunderous roar as it slammed its huge stone club into the ground, shaking the earth and sending the monsters surrounding it flying off their feet.
Gydarra, agile and quick, expertly maneuvered his way between the monsters, swinging his sword with lightning speed at those that were sent flying through the air.
The Frost Giant unleashed a deafening roar, shaking the air around them. With the weapon raised, it charged toward Nathan. In response, Nathan braced himself, tightly gripping both of his swords.
Suddenly, Linda appeared before Nathan, her huge greatsword ablaze with flames. "Oppa, I'm taking this!" she yelled, her voice overflowing with determination. In an impressive display of speed, she swung her greatsword down against the monster's club with all her strength.
A tremendous explosion rocked the area, sending a shockwave of energy radiating outward. But Linda stayed firmly planted, and despite the power of the blast, she remained upright, though it was a struggle.
Nathan was astonished at how strong Linda was, withstanding the powerful blows from the giant monster. "Have you invested all your points in Strength, Linda?" he asked, his eyes wide with amazement.
"Ehehehe..." Linda simply smiled in response to Nathan's inquiry.
Nathan softly murmured, "Thunder Cloud," as a deafening clap of thunder echoed through the sky. The heavens were shrouded in ominous darkness, and the earth seemed to shudder in anticipation. Then, in a flash, a lightning bolt struck the body of the elite frost giant, and Nathan reacted with astonishing speed, bellowing "Lightning Steps" as he shot up, leaving a trail of electric blasts with every step he took.
Nathan suddenly stopped at the massive beast's feet, his sword in his hand, ready for battle. He moved with lightning-quick speed, slashing at the monster with remarkable agility. With each blow, the giant monster's feet pounded into the ground, leaving deep craters in the earth.
The Elite Frost Giant, thrown off balance by its own momentum, roared in fury as Nathan deftly dodged and struck its feet. Its bellows filled the air, and it repeatedly smashed its enormous stone club against the ground in a desperate bid to eliminate Nathan.
However, the giant's anger and frustration only increased with each passing second, as its feet stumbled with each movement.
Nathan, still agile, tried to land a blow on the monster's leg despite its hard exterior. In retaliation, the Giant fiercely crashed both hands down, wielding a stone club and causing its body to bend slightly in the process. Seizing the opportunity, Nathan yelled, "Fire Blade Aura!" His sword began to emanate a burning, fiery light.
Nathan leaped onto the massive stone club with remarkable agility and propelled himself forward in a sprint. He ran straight into the center of the colossal monster, and in the blink of an eye, he was perched atop its shoulder. With a powerful burst of energy, Nathan leaped into the air and found himself suspended, giving him an unobstructed view of his target as it attempted to regain its footing.
"It's really irritating when I can't use all of my abilities to inflict maximum damage each time." He sighed in frustration.
Yet, as he glanced at the two meters before him, he felt a spark of excitement. His greed meter had skyrocketed to 92%, while his bloodlust meter had climbed to 41%. "I'm gonna take down this monster and get a huge reward!" he screamed, his voice booming with enthusiasm.
Nathan beamed with delight as he exclaimed, "Can you believe how incredible this Bloodlust Empowerment is? Just a little bit of bloodlust and I can increase my attack by 40%!"
"That is indeed a characteristic of a Hero, Master," Luna responded instantly as her body began to levitate.
"Energy Blast!!!"
Letting out a loud battle cry, Nathan felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. He lunged forward, brandishing his sword before him, and unleashed a powerful energy blast toward the monstrous creature below him. With a quick spin of his blade, the mighty blast shot toward the beast, ready to make its mark.
The two forces collided, resulting in a colossal explosion that sent Nathan flying backward with immense force. Despite the magnitude of the explosion, he was comforted in the knowledge that his mission was accomplished.
