He quickly became aroused by the Shaman outfit she was wearing, the girl's belly was sticking out and Ryan's thoughts began to run wild. Even in the heavy sun, he could already think about what it would be like to remove her clothes. Decided, he said to Nyx.
'Okay, I'll add her to my harem'
<I knew you wanted that>
'Yes, I did, but I hate losing her to you.'
Far away in the sand, an angel girl watched the group as she drew in the sand. Sighing, Lux was pensive.
- He has sex with so many women, why am I so worried about that? - she said to herself, while thinking about the burning desire she had to fuck Ryan.
Nearing the portal, the group had almost finished sorting out the spoils they had obtained so far.
"Let's get an earth elemental to create a wall around the spoils," said Kodiak, while looking at Ruri.
But Ryan intervened in the middle, "The Howling Sands can easily break through the wall, I have a better solution than that."
Turning around, he reached into his backpack and pulled out the same four dwarf cubes he had used before. Throwing them into the sky, he caused four transparent walls to appear around the team's precious items.
"That's solid," said Roy, startled as he touched the wall. The panther Snowy was scratching the wall and shaking her head, she started rubbing her face against the wall without understanding how it worked.
"Are you sure that's not just a giant cat?" Ryan said, laughing a little.
"I agree with Ryan, Snowy really is a giant cat," said Kodiak, who started laughing as he watched the animal.
"Anyway, can we get back to exploring?" said Nivia, who was reviewing her book of spells.
"I didn't encounter any monsters when I advanced through the desert, so the Boss isn't in that direction. He's probably in a more advanced part of the city," said Ryan, who was now completely dry, although his hair was totally messy.
Ruri approached Ryan and started combing his hair with her hands.
<"She's quite active for someone who was so embarrassed before," said the succubus, who was grinning mischievously as she floated above them both.
'You can be pretty annoying for a balloon,' said Ryan, irritating the succubus. Inflating her cheeks, she said <I'm not a balloon!n-(O(-v((e//l)/b--I)-n
'See, you've become a balloon now.
"Thanks, is that better?" Ryan asked, and Kodiak nodded.
With both eyes closed, the druid replied, "She really wants to take care of you."
Ruri blushed, and with embarrassment she put both hands in front of her face "Well, that's not a lie. I want to take care of you just like you always take care of us...".
<That was lovely> said Nyx
"That was lovely," said Kodiak.
'That was lovely' Ryan thought.
The group then advanced through the sandstone city of the great desert of the second world. That town seemed to be a passing place for merchants, it had no decline or rise, just hundreds of houses stacked on top of each other. When they passed a more extravagant house, the group stopped to loot a little, although they didn't find many interesting things.
"Another empty trunk..." said Roy, disappointed. Snowy the panther then started rubbing her head against the boy's leg *frrr*. Holding out his hand, he began to pet the giant white cat.
"It's all right Snowy, we just didn't make much profit," he said, sighing.
"I thought this house would be more interesting," said Kodiak, who crossed both arms as he thought about what to do.
Ryan put his hand on the druid's shoulder, "The profit from the crystals should be enough to give each of us a couple of thousand guild coins. We just need to find the boss and get out of here."
Kodiak smiled, "Yeah, you're right. It's not good to be so greedy, let's get on with the journey," he concluded. And so, the group continued forward.
The city was completely deserted, but as the group advanced towards the core of the place, a rhythmic noise arose.
*tic tic tic tic*
*Crack* *Kriiii*
*Tic* *Tic* Kriii*
"What are those sounds?" said Nivia, as they approached the city's central fountain. The square they were arriving at was wide, with four waterways flowing into the fountain's gigantic circle of water.
"Stand back," said Ryan, as he advanced in front of the group. Everyone was silent as they prepared for a possible duel.
Ruri removed his wooden mask, then took his staff from his back. Nivia opened a book of spells and Kodiak switched to his bestial form. Roy loaded the ammunition into his shotgun, and Snowy the panther was positioned with his fangs out.
'Do you think that's it?
<I'm sure it is>
'Shit...'
"We're standing on a nest of insects," said Ryan.
Then the noise got louder, and from the center of the fountain, a gigantic armored beetle took flight. Behind it, hundreds of armor beetles followed. The monsters had a fork-shaped horn with two points, and on top of their heads was a second, smaller horn with a blue crystal point.
The creatures had shiny black leather with blue details on their wings. The shape of the beetles was somewhat circular, with a large thorax and two larger wings that split in the middle of the back and protected four pairs of white membranes that beat at high speed.
The creatures' eyes glowed with a blue light and their mouths were full of crystal-blue fangs. The mouths of all the beetles were salivating with a transparent bluish liquid which, when it fell into the water, exploded and caught fire.
"These monsters are waterbenders..." said Ryan, the whole group still paralyzed. Not out of fear, but because they were avoiding an unnecessary conflict.
"Let's see if they attack, if they do, we'll start the confrontation," said Kodiak. Everyone remained motionless while the insects came out, and before long, the entire sky of the square was infested with insects.
'This kind of mob only attacks when they're threatened. If we're careful, they can get out. I can get inside the nest and eliminate the boss, and we can close the portal faster." Ryan's mind was analyzing the possibilities, a direct confrontation would be a foolish idea.
They were at an overwhelming numerical disadvantage.
*Rawr
Roy's panther roared, and just like that, all the beetles started launching attacks at the team.
