When the meeting between John Wrynn and Ryan Whitemane ended, the two left with an agreement. Ryan would now receive a warning of portals with potential abnormalities, thus making it easier for him to enter should anything happen.

As a reward, John would instigate SSS+ girls who were interested in having a relationship with Ryan, although they both decided that it would be best to take things slowly. Even though Ryan could have sex with hundreds of girls in a single day, creating connections and bonds with the girls was the most efficient way to increase his level. After all, when a woman joins Ryan's harem there is a bonus with quests and relationship levels, which is impossible to achieve on a large scale.

Returning home, Ryan was full of doubts and thoughts. Holding out his hands, he opened a portal to the region of the second world he was exploring. Next to the desert of the Amazons was a large, completely uninhabited forest, the place was vast and had no sign of civilization, making it the perfect place to think a little about life.

Sitting at the top of a tree, Ryan was watching the strong desert winds push up waves of sand. That turbulent sight was, in a way, a reflection of what he was feeling inside. Deep in his chest, Ryan was confused about what he was and what he should do, about what was happening to him or who he was facing.

He knew that something much more powerful was playing a game on him, he knew that the guardian of life and the guardian of void were moving their pieces to have him as a servant. He knew that at some point the demons of the underworld would try to seek him out, and that even the angels who followed the guardian of life were not in his favor.

He knew that there was a superior creature seeking his life essence, and he knew that he had defied even death. But now, with that sound of the sand moving, the absence of voices and animal sounds, Ryan could finally have some time to think.

Taking a deep breath, he jumped from the tree. Falling with both feet on the ground, Ryan walked over to a rock and sat down on it to think for a while. During that time, both Ayumi, Nyx and Lux remained silent, they knew it was necessary for him to have a moment alone.

Now with time to plan his actions, Ryan opened his system and looked at the quests he had to complete. The counter for the Void Guardian challenge was running out, while the Life Guardian quest stood as a reminder to him of how stuck he was.

"You can come along now, I've made up my mind"

Nyx, Lux and Ayumi appeared in front of him. All three were wearing dresses, one white, one black and one of a priestess. Bowing their heads, they slowly stood up.

"Ayumi, you told me there was some smell inside me. What was that?" Ryan asked, looking deep into the fox's eyes.

Crossing her arms, the kitsune began to think as she stared at Ryan. Walking slowly, she sniffed her way down Ryan's body to his neck, pulling away and bobbing her head up and down.

With one hand on her chin, the priestess began to look up as she thought about it. While this was going on, Ryan looked at his system and his harem tab.

There were more than twenty Amazons who had been added to the harem tab, and it had been a few weeks since Ryan had visited the desert areas. It was bothering him, but he didn't know how to deal with these women.

"I've never smelled anything like it," said Ayumi, breaking the silence of the forest.

The sound of the sand waves passing a few meters ahead intensified.

"That smell, it's as if you possess a unique energy. I thought it might be some kind of blessing, because it's not coming from you," continued the fox, who again approached Ryan.

"So it's not an energy that I'm creating..." he said.

*Sigh*

"Imagine it as a scent that has been left on you, like the perfume of a woman after you have lain with her," the fox continued, with a perceptive smile.

Nyx began scratching her head, then grabbed her two horns "A woman's perfume...? That's a bit confusing"

Ryan shook his head in denial "It's not confusing, really. It all makes sense now. Looking at the window of his system, Ryan's red eyes were glowing like fire "This is the result of a blessing, I already know who did it".

"The guardian..." Lux said in surprise. Ryan nodded, "I've had contact with both guardians, Void and Life. But I remember meeting another creature, my memories of the event at the abyss portal are confused."

"The portal to the abyss... Do you remember that demon lord?" Lux asked.

Ryan nodded, "That part isn't the problem. My memories start to blur after everyone is sent away," said Ryan.

"Maybe that has something to do with the effects the portal can cause," said Lux, who had an uneasy look on his face from thinking too much.

"The blacksmith and the ice sovereign behaved in the same way as that lord. So I know that the memories of conscious beings become blurred when they connect to a portal, maybe that's what happened to me..." Ryan's voice was much more serious than usual, but before he could continue speaking, Ayumi cut him off.

"That's impossible," said the fox, "Your memories can't be connected to a challenge unless you become the boss or a character in a dungeon."

A severe headache came over Ryan, who began to scream and cry out in pain. His forehead quickly began to boil, with a temperature so high that it rivaled fire. A gigantic amount of mana was being emitted from Ryan's body, while a gigantic pain consumed every part of his body.

Nyx and Lux laid him down, while Ayumi applied healing magic to his body. "What was that?" Nyx shouted, confused.

"That looks like divine punishment," said Lux, who began to apply healing magic to Ryan.

"I've never seen anything like it," said Ayumi, worried. "That smell is getting stronger and stronger," she shouted.

Ryan's condition worsened as he screamed louder and louder. Roaring in pain while his body seemed intact, the pain continued for about twenty minutes until it finally stopped. When Ryan opened his eyes again, he looked at his body in confusion.

"It's all in place," he commented, as he opened and closed his hand.

The succubus and the angel girl were crying, both of them clutching him tightly. Ayumi had her hand on her chin, thoughtfully she said, "What do you mean everything's in place?"

"I felt like my body was being cut, pierced and destroyed. Hundreds of times, it was so real in my mind. I saw myself die thousands of times, just like in..." Ryan's eyes widened, he was slowly remembering what had happened in that portal.

"Just like in the portal to the abyss..."

When Ryan returned home, his mind was a little more set.

"Tomorrow I'm going to practice some new skills, and I need to get better used to my sword," he said, as he walked to his room.

"I still haven't shown you how powerful a fox familiar is, have I?" said Ayumi, in a seductive voice.

'She had already commented that she wanted to have sex with me, and Lux was already showing that he was jealous'

An idea popped into Ryan's mind, and taking advantage of this thought he decided to test what would happen.

Pulling Ayumi with one of his hands, he pushed the girl onto his bed. Climbing on top of the priestess, he opened her dress in the middle, lowering the sleeves as he undid the knot holding her clothes together.

The kitsune's gigantic breasts jutted out, making Ryan's mouth water as he watched the girl's pink mouth. Kissing the girl's neck, she began to squeal and giggle "That tickles"

Ryan continued kissing her body, until the kitsune began to gasp for breath. The sounds of the two of them playing and having fun began to echo through the house, making it impossible for them not to know what was going on in there.

On the other side of the door, Nyx, Lux and Yuki were sitting on the sofa.

The ice girl was staring at the door in disgust, looking at the other two girls she said "Those two are going..."

"Yes, they are," they replied at the same time.

Nyx didn't seem to mind, stretching, she found a better position to stand and turned on the television.

She turned up the volume on the television with her remote control, making sure she couldn't hear the sounds coming from the room. But next door, her sister Lux looked red and angry.

Crossing her arms, she looked at the door with a saddened and irritated face.

In her mind, a question arose: 'When is he going to do this to me?
