Chapter 6.1 - About Fanfiction 3 Part 1
The national husband, Han Shi Yu’s fans were really strange.
As his occupation was different from the artists in the entertainment industry, he usually wouldn’t be involved in hot trends unless it was related to official statements from the company or brand product announcements.
Yet, he always managed to make it to the hot trending list in various strange ways.
For example, the hot trending topic # Han Shi Yu liking an autotuned remix video #
As well as one from a few months ago where he said # We don’t make money at Ji Xun # on a huge internet conference.
And the occasional # Han Shi Yu suspected to be in a relationship #
— That last topic was like wild grasses that won’t get burned down by the prairie fire. 1 It had such tenacious vitality that any wind could blow life into it again.
As a result, the attribute of his fan group was extremely mixed up.
Some were from the middle-aged group who came to follow Ji Xun’s President after hearing about him. Mostly the users of Ji Xun’s products.
Some of them were his visual fans, since his looks were comparable to those in the entertainment industry and could stand out among them.
But Han Shi Yu firmly believed that they loved his money more than him as a person.
There were also some that purely wanted to make fun of him and take a look at the jokes revolving around him. Like those editors who made the autotuned remixes. Han Shi Yu’s viral clips and jokes all came from the hands of these people.
Han Shi Yu once again topped the trending list at number 4, slowly rising to 3rd. That group of people started to rejoice at his misfortune.
His secretary’s phone exploded with calls from Yue Xin. Initially, her boss making it to the hot trending list for no reason at all was part of her daily routine. However, this time it involved Yue Xin as well.
Generally, the atmosphere at Yue Xin was very serious and solemn. They never posted any nonsense on Weibo and the posts they uploaded were always attached with a stiff and formatted caption, devoid of any emojis.
As the CP name was ‘Ji Yue’, quite a number of 2D fans molded these two companies in their fantasies however they liked. The company’s image got involved this time.
Yue Xin’s operational staff were very puzzled. All of them asked the secretary whether her company president was cooperating with President Zhou and this was part of the promotional plans. If so, why weren’t they informed?
The secretary felt very wronged too.
She couldn’t possibly say President Han had a slip of the hand again.
Han Shi Yu who was accustomed to standing in the limelight of public opinion somehow concluded a life lesson out of this matter.
Do not be afraid of any difficulty that you face, because you can bravely walk around it.
And so, he switched off his phone, pulled his covers up and said, “Forget it, let’s sleep first and only think about it tomorrow.”
His own operational team knew to keep an eye on the trending topic, preventing anyone from making up malicious rumours or people with bad intentions to add fuel to it. He had nothing to worry about.
Yang Mo pursued his lips together before saying, “…Go read the latest chapter.”
Han Shi Yu wondered, “Why are you reading it so fast?”
Yang Mo scrolled through the page until he reached that specific part and handed his phone to Han Shi Yu.
Han Shi Yu stared at the screen and saw what was written on it.
“Zhou Yi couldn’t believe it. This indifferent man in front of his eyes were the same person he had known and loved for 10 years…his lover. He trembled as he said, “Han Shi Yu, what kind of person do you think I am?”
“Han Shi Yu sneered coldly at him, forcibly lifting his chin. He said in a cold and hasty tone, “I’m leaving tonight. If you want to sleep with me, there’s only three hours left so hurry up.”
“This wasn’t the usual winter. The snow was colder and more piercing than ever, so much that Zhou Yi who had been standing there for a long time could feel the beating heart in his chest gradually freezing up.
“He still couldn’t let him go.”
“Even though Han Shi Yu had obviously changed. When he held him and entered him, he coldly disregarded his pleas, thrusting madly without a care, only thinking of his own pleasure and refusing to even give him a kiss….”
“……….”
Han Shi Yu shuddered.
He looked up at Yang Mo.
Yang Mo looked down at him.
It was quite a weird feeling.
As if he was caught in bed cheating but somehow it felt more awkward than the actual thing.
Han Shi Yu immediately said, “Mo Mo, I love you.”
“Zhou Yi will probably cut you down.” Yang Mo said faintly, “Don’t call me Mo Mo, or I’ll cut you down with him.”
Yang Han couldn’t sleep well the entire night.
She couldn’t shake off the fear and doubt that Han Shi Yu liking that fanfiction had something to do with her – going as far as planning on how to coax Han Shi Yu, what tone to use when calling him ‘dad’. But at the same time, she also comforted herself by thinking it could just be a coincidence.
The two voices fought relentlessly in her head.
In the end, Yang Han had a dream because of that.
The evil and reckless Han Shi Yu stood on the rooftop of a building as the helicopter hovered above him in the air. The air currents messed up his hair and caused his clothes to flap around.
Han Shi Yu hugged Yang Mo who was next to him, wrapping one hand around his waist as Yang Mo leaned on his shoulder.
Han Shi Yu laughed coldly at Yang Han who was in front of him and said, “Woman, you have three minutes to consider whether to call me ‘dad’.”
Yang Han: “……”
She sat up in shock in the middle of the night.
