Chapter 10.2 - About Gong and Shou 2 Part 2
Yang Han choked on air for a moment. She then said in response, “I told my classmates about the situation at home.”
Yang Mo’s movement froze for a bit as he observed Yang Han’s expression. “What…did they say?”
Yang Han picked up her chopsticks, absentmindedly stirring her rice around and said, “They are quite supportive and recently, I’ve been learning about this side of things with them…”
Yang Mo let out a sigh of relief, “That’s great.”
No wonder she has been reading those articles called fanfictions lately.
Yang Han complained, “Regarding who the gong and shou are between you two, my friend and I made a bet with a signed photo of Mu Liu Su on the line.”
Yang Mo: “……”
The interests of young people nowadays really were bizarre.
Yang Mo: “……Who is Mu Liu Su.”
Yang Han: “A musician from Hai Ting Music.”
“Recently, the musicians and artists from Hai Ting Music have been stationed at Qu Di one after another. The officials organized many lucky draw events for the fans.” Yang Mo grabbed some food and placed it in Yang Han’s bowl, “…There are a lot of signed photos over at the operational department. Ask Han Shi Yu to get some for you on another day.”
Yang Han: “Mn…”
Yang Mo lowered his head, his voice a lot softer than before, “Don’t make bets so easily with your classmates in the future.”
Yang Han: “Mn…”
The air froze for a few seconds.
Yang Han; “Mn?!”
As though something clicked inside of her, she snapped her head up at Yang Mo, looking like her entire world view was thoroughly shaken up by an earthquake.
Yang Mo remained silent, eating his food with his head lowered.
Han Shi Yu picked up his phone from under the table.
He placed it on the table, frowned and thought about it for a while before finally picking it up hesitantly and tapped into his chat with Yang Mo.
His fingers hovered over the keyboard for quite a while, then sent a message after dinner.
Han Shi Yu: “Mo?”
A moment later, Yang Mo sent a period.
Yang Mo: “.”
Han Shi Yu: “Are you playing ‘truth or dare’ with Yang Han?”
Yang Mo: “……”
Han Shi Yu knew that Yang Mo was especially headstrong. Although he had never shied away from their relationship, but once it came to who took the lead in bed…
His Mo Mo was thin-skinned…
At the start, it was Han Shi Yu who first pursued Yang Mo. He said he wanted to try it out with his senior, and Yang Mo did not refuse him.
After that, Yang Mo had always accommodated him whether it was in work, studies or life. He treated Han Shi Yu like a younger brother who had yet to grow up as he spoiled him.
Han Shi Yu who looked serious in front of people yet acted like a teenage girl in front of Yang Mo – this behaviour was thanks to Yang Mo who enabled him.
If this premise was known on Qu Di, authors would likely be able to write a fanfiction titled, ‘The God and His Submissive President Wife’.
But as the God continued to spoil his wife, he himself ended up being at the bottom due the habit of spoiling him.
If this was known to Yang Han…
Han Shi Yu would have to leave home and spend the rest of his life as a monk with no desire in him.
After rephrasing his words for a while, Han Shi Yu finally sent over a message.
Han Shi Yu: “Did you tell Yang Yang?”
The message loading circle spun around for a bit, then a little red exclamation mark appeared, stunning him breathless.
[Your message has been sent, but it was rejected by the other party.]
Han Shi Yu: “Sobs.”
The submissive president wife had been blacklisted by the god and his daughter now. As his face glowed with a light, his mind was filled with the image of old monks ringing the bell, the smell of incense drifting in the temple and the gods telling him to empty his mind from any immoralities and indecencies.
Xu Jia looked at the dying Yang Han, suddenly feeling some sympathy for her and said, “It’s not that big of a deal.”
Yang Han: “How is it possible.”
In this language class, the teacher was talking about Lu Xun’s story, ‘Hometown’.
Xu Jia whispered, “Lu Xun once said, do not be afraid of any difficulties you run into. Just smile in the face of it.”
Yang Han looked at her.
Xu Jia said, “Actually, a younger gong is pretty good. Think about it,” Xu Jia moved the stool forward a bit and continued, “The calm and dependable older brother, seeing the cute younger brother who acts spoiled with him, couldn’t bear it and gave in out of love. Yet, he was eaten up by the evil, little wolf.
Xu Jia gave her a thumbs up, “Out of bed, he gets called gege. In bed, the gege calls out. 1”
Yang Han: ‘……”
The teacher trailed off her sentence and said, “Xu Jia, tell us, what kind of emotion does the description in this paragraph reflect upon ‘I’?”
Xu Jia, who was suddenly named, quickly stood up, “Teacher…I don’t know.”
“Oh?” The teacher narrowed her eyes, “I saw how clearly you gave your thumbs up though.”
The class burst into laughter and Xu Jia also smiled a little to ease the awkwardness.
Teacher: “Yang Han, you answer instead.”
Yang Han slowly stood up and said, “It underlines the bleak state of mind of ‘I’, as well as the sense of loss and sadness ‘I’ felt at how things and people have changed.”
The teacher nodded and upon seeing her expression, she complimented, “You really immersed yourself in the emotions.”
Xu Jia let out a laugh.
Teacher: “Xu Jia, analyse the whole literature once and send it to my office the day after tomorrow.
Yang Han did give it a careful thought.
A younger gong…was actually quite nice.
After taking a nap, Yang Han finally accepted the fact.
The first period of class after noon time was physical education. In order to focus on studying well, she left her phone at home and could only use the school’s public phone for any calls. She hadn’t had time to contact Yang Mo yet.
The gym teacher was substituting for another teacher. After he finished supervising the students’ training, he let them have their free time.
Yang Han found Xu Jia in the middle of the crowd. She blinked at what she was wearing.
She asked, “Do you have that many merit points? To think you’re wearing shorts above knee-length.”
Xu Jia said, “Sigh, the summer is going to end soon. I just felt like putting them on.”
Yang Han raised an eyebrow.
Xu Jia laughed, “Just for this one class. I’ll change it back later. I don’t want to listen to our homeroom teacher’s nagging either.”
