Chapter 18.1 - About Liu Zuo Ye 1 Part 1
Yang Han compiled and organized what she had heard from her dads and turned them into a story, which she told to Xu Jia.
After hearing the stories, Xu Jia realized this CP pair was quite interesting so she browsed through Qu Di for a while and found out there really were fanfictions of Han Shi Yu and Starry.
Due to Han Shi Yu’s “Very Fast Technology Company” hot trending topic where Starry was mentioned and people labelled them as an old, married couple; this pair of CP that was so unpopular and cold like the artic had gained quite a lot of attention.
This was yet another business group CP with none of the two giving out canon content. Fans could only dig through the bits and pieces of university stories shared by Han Shi Yu in the past for some scraps.
However, the senior shippers from the Ji Yue CP community had given them an example to follow. Therefore, they strived to improve, ignoring how difficult it might be. They firmly believed that as long as they persist on and everyone contributed their enthusiasm, then their community will one day shine brightly.
At the moment, the first fanfiction in the ‘Yu Xing1’ community was quite popular. The name was ‘Among the group of stars shining brightly, I’ll pluck only you2’.
The style of writing was simple but gentle. Placed among other hot articles, this was a rare, hard to come by, good article.
Although Xu Jia was an avid ‘meat3 reader, but she also knew the need for nutritional balance. Occasionally, she would change it up for a lighter palette, blushing from seeing just a kissing scene.
And so, she jumped into this pit.
Xu Jia recommended the article to Yang Han, who blinked a few times and said, “Are there any Xing Yu4 fanfictions?”
Xu Jia: “Nope. This community is as cold as outer space, yet you still hoped for reverse CP content?”
Yang Han: “Ugh.”
Although she had reluctantly accepted the fact that between his dads, the gong was the younger one, but emotionally, she still saw Yang Mo as the main gong.
However, she didn’t have much of a choice. All she could do was gather the showbiz artists x Han Shi Yu fanfictions to repeatedly read for some comfort.
The midterms and finals of this semester were really close to each other. As the days gradually entered fall, it turned cooler. Yang Han changed into a turtleneck sweater.
On this day, it was the first time she finished morning exercise in time and stood in the front row of the breakfast queue.
She was panting with excitement when she suddenly felt the back collar of her sweater being lightly pulled. It was so gentle, as if a butterfly had landed on her neck.
She instinctively turned her head to look.
After she slowly looked, she turned back to the front again. “……”
Liu Zuo Ye: “There’s a huge lint on your sweater.”
Yang Han took a deep breath.
She didn’t know how to reply back and was brainstorming hard. As a result, the air was silent for quite a while, as if she didn’t want to talk the person behind her.
Now, Yang Han was even more at a loss on what to say.
Liu Zuo Ye didn’t start any nonsense and instead, cut to the chase. “The weekend before finals, do you have time?”
Yang Han’s heart almost leaped out of her throat. She started regretting her laziness from before that caused her not to make any plans on that weekend.
Was she arranging a date to fight it out?
Aside from tearing out someone’s hair, there was nothing else she knew how to do.
Liu Zuo Ye frowned, “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
Yang Han: “I might…Um, I’m not sure. What do you want to do?”
Liu Zuo Ye put her hands into the pockets of her school uniform. After a moment of silence, she said, “Let’s grab a meal together.”
Yang Han: “……”
Frowning, Yang Han felt like things weren’t as simple as she thought.
She couldn’t understand what Liu Zuo Ye’s intentions were nor did she think they had a friendly relationship to this extent.
Yang Han reasonably suspected that she had colluded with the restaurant owner and have an infiltrator watching her every move in the surveillance room. The moment she takes her first bite, it would be used as a signal for…
Liu Zuo Ye seemed to have seen through the delusions that filled her head and said, “I’m not going to harm you. What’s that look on your face for?”
Yang Han fell back to reality from her fantasies of making a great escape from being murdered.
Liu Zuo Ye sighed, “Forget it, if you’re not free.”
Yang Han gulped, hesitated for a bit before raising her hand timidly and said, “Actually…I’m free.”
Yang Han: “Dad, I’m going out with my classmate tomorrow.”
Yang Mo stared at this cabbage.
Yang Han blinked.
Unexpectedly, Yang Mo said, “Okay. I have work tomorrow so I won’t be dropping you off.”
Yang Han: “?”
Why was her dad acting differently from usual?
It just so happened that Han Shi Yu walked out of his study, right in time to hear what she said. He asked, “What classmate?”
Yang Han: “I’m not telling you.”
Han Shi Yu clicked his tongue, rolled up his sleeves and said, “Are you dating someone?”
Yang Han frowned at him, “What kind of thought process is that? How does going out with a classmate equal to dating someone?”
Han Shi Yu: “Then tell me, what’s the name of this classmate. Is it a guy or girl? Where are you going?”
Yang Han firmly said, “Not telling you.”
Han Shi Yu held his breath.
