CH 30.2

Name:My Two Dads Author:
Yang Mo was silent.

Han Shi Yu laughed a little and said, “Ge, you always like using logic to explain everything. Anything that happens require sufficient conditions and prerequisites and has to be in a logical sequence to convince you.”

He scratched the messy hair on his head, took off the sunglasses set up on the back of his head and put them away in his pocket before saying, “I admire you a lot for that.”

“But you know, computers can never replace humans.” Han Shi Yu said softly, “Humans are originally written with all kinds of mistakes. Machines simply can’t understand them or function the same way.”

Han Shi Yu did not finish what he wanted to say, because it was time for the gates to be closed. The caretaker uncle saw the two of them still standing outside, walked out to remind them: “Lights out!”

The stray puppy played by itself near Yang Mo’s feet for a long time. But when it saw Yang Mo had been ignoring him after standing back up, it went back into the bush.

“You should go back first, ge. I’ll call Brother Min to make up a reason for me so the hostels will let me in somehow.” Han Shi Yu rubbed the tip of his nose and laughed, “I’ll go back and think about it again. Maybe it really is just a phase.”

Han Shi Yu left.

Yang Mo didn’t look back to watch him. Because he knew how his back would look like.

Before the dormitory gates were closed, Yang Mo walked up to the fourth floor one step at a time.

When he opened the door, Lu You Qi complained right away, “Roomie, where have you been? We’re going to get our points deducted if you’re any slower!”

Yang Mo closed the door without making a sound.

Hearing not even an echo, Lu You Qi blinked and frowned, “Mo?”

Yang Mo: “I’m turning off the lights.”

Lu You Qi thought he was exhausted from tutoring others and revising on his own, so he didn’t ask any more questions and said, “Okay, rest up earlier.”’

There were only two lights in the darkness.

Lu You Qi scrolled through his social media accounts as usual, until some time later when Yang Mo suddenly messaged him.

Lu You Qi was startled by the name of the one who contacted him. He looked at the time, it was eleven o’clock. He replied, surprised, “You’re still awake?!”

Yang Mo said, “Do you have the website link.”

Lu You Qi: “Ah? What?”

Yang Mo: “To watch those videos.”

Lu You Qi was taken aback in surprise again; the shock was stronger than the previous one this time. His fingers trembled for a long time, not daring to type a reply back. In the end, he finally replied while still trembling a little, “You…did the iron tree finally bloom1?”

In the first place, if the phrase ‘website’ was mentioned between close buddies in the middle of the night, Lu You Qi would have understood it without any more words said.

But it didn’t apply on Yang Mo so this request came as quite a shock to him.

Lu You Qi: “I don’t have the ones from before, so there’s none with me now. But I can search up some for you.”

The mixed-blood youth of eight nationalities used all his abilities – ancient and modern – to present Yang Mo with websites in different languages.

Yang Mo used these precious links to look up gay films.

Yang Mo eventually put down his phone, switched off the screen and took off his headphones.

He laid on the bed with one arm blocking his eyes.

No.

He still couldn’t accept it.

Although it wasn’t to the extent of being disgusted, but when he saw two bodies of the same built entangled together and even slamming against the other, he felt really uncomfortable – there were even times he did feel repulsed.

Han Shi Yu was right. Humans could never act in a completely rational manner. The reason why humans are called humans, is because they have raised fierce beasts by the name of emotions. These fierce beasts, at any time, might destroy humans’ logic that can’t even withstand a single hit.

Emotions are a code made up of entirely ‘error’s. Computers can’t identify them, but when placed on a mortal flesh; the flesh would turn into a human. This was truly an incredible thing.

Yang Mo couldn’t even convince himself with his set of analysis and logic on these wrong codes, let alone Han Shi Yu.

The next day, Yang Mo who had no classes did not go out anymore.

Lu You Qi tapped on his shoulders meaningfully and said, “Will this friend please share with me the story from last night?”

Yang Mo’s tone had no ups and downs as he answered, “Get lost.”

“How boring,” Lu You Qi took the list of things to buy from Yang Mo. The weather was a little chilly today, so after putting on his jacket, he walked to the door and prepared ample space to escape before saying, “Mr. ‘Code-sexual’ Yang, I have reasons to suspect you jerked off to CSDN2 last night.”

Yang Mo ignored him and continued working on his assignment on hand.

He felt that he and Han Shi Yu’s relationship have completely soured.

Even if that person could pretend like nothing happened, it was still impossible to return to before, where he clung to Yang Mo all day like the stray puppy.

While thinking about that, his phone lit up with a notification.

Yang Mo subconsciously froze at first before picking it up and realized it was Mi Shu.

“Ge, I’m having my exams the day after tomorrow.” She sent a smiling emoji, “Are you free?”

Yang Mo replied, “I’m also free after your last exam paper.”

Yang Mo understood what she was implying, so he added, “I’ll go pick you up.”

Mi Shu’s texts exposed her delight, so she continued with another request, “How about…you bring along Han Shi Yu gege along too.”
