Chapter 2: Job Offer

David shook his head in response to Audrey's words. He didn't want to trouble her, but just as he wanted to speak, she suddly waved her hand.

"Just follow me!"

She took a step towards the door, giving David a look not to challge her.

David rolled his eyes, not knowing why she was suddly pushy.

However, since it was what she wanted, he ded up following behind her.

They wt downstairs from their 7th floor apartmt.

After that, they wt to the parking lot, approaching a Japanese car.

It was new, but it wasn't bought by Audrey, it was a facility provided by the University of Paris for her.

Audrey wt to the driver's seat while David wt to the passger seat.

They really didn't talk anymore. As the car moved, Audrey focused on driving.

David finally turned his gaze to his cell phone.

He had received a message from Jane that she would be leaving for the University soon.

Appartly, she gave him a link that basically allowed him to see the location of her phone.

Wh David saw the location of her phone, he subconsciously looked towards the south of the city.

The woman was now in the suburbs, in a housing estate that was said to be very luxurious as each building was almost like a royal palace.

This only further proved that she wasn't talking nonsse.

Other people unless they were hired workers would not be able to go to that housing estate.

David was sure that Jane was not a worker, she most likely actually owned a house there.

Audrey occasionally glanced at David as the latter seemed to be replying to a message.

However, she didn't say anything, like she wasn't in the mood to interfere.

It didn't take them long to arrive at the University of Paris which was actually quite close to the Eiffel Tower.

It was in a large area with one large building in the cter, consisting of eight floors.

Quite a few people can be se, not only Europeans, but also people from other nations such as Chinese, Indians, and Arabs.

The problem was that he gave the impression that he wanted to fight.

Of course, speaking of fighting, David had no fear at all.

"Bro, what's your name?" the man asked David.

He did not extd his hand for a handshake and did not seem to be in the mood at all.

"David!" David told him his name because he wanted to know his destination.

"I'm Chu Fg," the man replied, telling David his name.

After that, he strangely stared at his face, seemingly making a deep observation.

David quickly became uncomfortable.

"You're pretty good looking bro," said the man.

Wh David wanted to cough, he suddly continued, "don't get me wrong. I'm a normal guy. I'm here to offer you an amazing job. In your job, you will get various perks that will all be yours. From a villa, a sports car, and ev a startup company with huge capital."

"What?" David was still a young man, so he was quite shocked to hear everything the man said.

What kind of job could get so many perks. Ev being a lonely rich woman's sugar baby shouldn't give him so much.

Seeing David's shocked reaction, Chu Fg showed a faint smile.

He took out a cigarette case from his pants pocket, took out one cigarette and offered David one rock of a cigarette, which David refused.

He did not insist and lit his cigarette, exhaling thick smoke forward.

"Your job with all those perks is to approach a certain woman in this University and make her your girlfrid. You need to look rich because that woman is very rich. She won't be interested in an ordinary man." Chu Fg began to explain.

David's eyes became strange after hearing that.

"Who is that woman?" he asked.

"Her name is Jane Rothschild," Chu Fg replied.

"Isn't that a marvelous job. If you succeed, you'll get a girlfrid of extraordinary status, from the Legdary Rothschild Family. You've probably never se her, but believe me, she's really very beautiful, a true noble. You win the whole world wh you win her heart."

"And what is the purpose of this job?" asked David, not losing his cool as he tried to investigate who this man was.

This was probably an act to target the Rothschild Family.

Who would be so bold?

However, David also can't dy that China has become very powerful in rect years. If there are certain parties in the country who want to fight with the Rothschild Family, David can understand it.
