Chapter 43: Angry

David looked into Isabel's eyes, finding that she furrowed her brow while staring at the floor.

In fact, the two wom who followed him didn't like Alex's words either. They thought he was going too far, asking to be introduced to David's girlfrid's frid. That would practically make the other person's relationship awkward.

"I don't have time to take care of such insignificant things," David replied in an indiffert tone.

He didn't hesitate to say no, which of course came as quite a shock to Isabel.

In high school, she oft saw studts not daring to refuse Alex's wishes.

David didn't seem to have any worries about coming into conflict with him.

Alex obviously didn't expect David to respond so unfridly.

His mouth oped as he was surprised and th his expression became visibly angry.

"Hmph, David, you seem to have become arrogant after having such a rich girlfrid," he said, snorting coldly.

His personality did not allow him to contain his annoyance.

"That's my business," David replied.

"Good, you're just a man depdt on a rich woman, but you already dare to be arrogant." The man held back less and less as he spoke.

This in the d also made Isabel annoyed because she had formed a certain bond with David.

It certainly wouldn't have happed without any feelings of liking after interacting with him, so she wasn't happy wh David was insulted like that.

"Didn't you also expect that kind of life?" David replied.

He didn't seem bothered by Alex's words, instead he reminded the man that he had just expected his help to be introduced to Jane's frid.

That was without a doubt because he also wanted to have a very rich girlfrid.

One doesn't have to speculate to know that every one of Jane's frids must be very rich as well.

"You!" Unlike David, Alex immediately took offse.

He ev looked like he wanted to move, but stopped wh the elevator doors finally oped.

They wondered why she suddly had business with David. What kind of business was it?

Their female instincts strangely thought that it was a suspicious affair. Their experice was not small, so they were somewhat suspicious.

However, the speculation was made difficult because David already had a girlfrid.

Of course, they didn't try to find out further.

They nodded to Isabel before leaving, not looking back again.

After they disappeared, Isabel finally looked at David.

"Where do you want to go?" she asked.

Wh she asked, David laughed softly and replied, "Isabel, I was actually just asking if you were going to your class soon?"

Isabel, "..."

The woman's face froze wh she realized that something was wrong.

Indeed, David only asked that, if scrutinized, it was just a casual question, not inviting her to do something. This was just because she was thinking too far.

Isabel was a little angry after freezing. She replied, "if there was really no need, I would be going to class right now!"

Of course, she was angry that David seemed to be mocking her. She took this seriously but David was just joking.

However, David grabbed her hand before she took a step, keeping her inside the elevator.

He th pressed the button to the highest floor.

He did not mince words in the elevator, his hands pushed her body until she was leaning against the wall while he th pressed against her body.

The woman's anger instantly disappeared but she was a bit panicked.

"Are you crazy? Not here," she said.

"Don't worry, we won't get caught, there's no CCTV here, we'll get out on the eighth floor and go to the roof," David replied.

He grabbed her breasts after she said that, starting to squeeze them so gtly that her neck turned red.
