David was certain that it was a sword, but since he hadn't seen it in person, he couldn't guess what kind of sword it was.

However, it did give him a certain sensation, as if it was alive.

Carefully, Erza picked up the cloth-covered sword before entering the back room of David's car.

She did not open the cloth covering the sword right away, but waited for Jane to raise the window beside her first.

After that, only then did she begin to open the cloth covering the sword.

The cloth also seemed to be unique in that when a portion of the sword was exposed, David immediately felt an overwhelming spiritual aura. The faint golden glow emanating from the sword was enough to amaze him.

When the sword was fully exposed so that he could see its shape, David vaguely felt a very strong threat from the sword.

He thought a random person wielding it could threaten even him who was already a Spiritual Being.

"This sword is called Excalibur, you must have heard of its legend." Jane suddenly spoke. "It was kept by the Morgan Family after much effort to obtain it. They were very afraid of the sword because its light was a serious threat to vampires. Of course, for Spiritual Beings like us, this sword is also very threatening.

If it is combined with your strength, your attack power can reach an unstoppable point."

"This is my gift to you, please accept it," Erza said right after Jane finished speaking.

She handed the sword to David by pointing the hilt towards him.

David was a bit hesitant to take the sword.

It was precious without a doubt, but the question was whether he should carry it around with him everywhere he went?

"Can this sword be shrunk down so that it can fit into a pants pocket?" David asked before he took the sword.

Jane and Erza's faces froze instantly upon hearing his question.

Both of them showed very strange expressions.

David nodded, then did as Jane said.

Lightning shot out of his hand, flowing into the sword.

Apparently, the sword instantly absorbed the lightning.

The golden light emanated more clearly from the sword and the lightning seemed to flow through the sword's body.

"Yeah, there's no way Zeus' power could be denied by Excalibur," Jane said as she looked at the sword.

At this moment, David actually began to feel some sort of connection between him and the sword. It became stronger with time.

When that connection was established, he began to know on his own how to summon the sword if it was far away from him. He also knew how to limit the sword's power so that it didn't release light constantly.

'I think I can slaughter those Vatican people if only I had this sword from the beginning,' David thought.

After that, he looked at Erza who was watching him curiously.

"Thanks, I like this gift," he told her.

Erza smiled broadly at David thanking her. From her perspective, she thought David was opening up to her more and more. Maybe now he liked her as much as he liked Jane because she had also practically betrayed her own family for David.

"There's no need to thank her, it's something she has to do because she knows our secret. Now she's also bonded so there's no way she could betray us," Jane said suddenly. She reprimanded David for thanking Erza.

When David looked into Jane's eyes, he found a sort of light of displeasure from her.

"Uhmmm, Jane, aren't you being too harsh. I sincerely did all this," Erza said in response.

"You wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for me forcing you," Jane replied with a sardonic look.

"Now, it's time for you to go, there's something I want to take care of with David," she added.

"What? What does it matter if I come with you?" Erza became even more annoyed that Jane was asking her to leave.
