"Sure..." David of course didn't refuse.
He immediately responded to Alisa's offer.
Alisa became so excited, she replied, "go to the dining table, I'll prepare the food right away."
Her excitement was obvious, making her look like a young girl who had just fallen in love.
Even the servants looked at her strangely, they looked at each other, wondering if there was something that shouldn't be happening.
Some were not stupid enough not to understand this, but they were too afraid to speak up.
Alisa returned to the kitchen while David walked to the dining table.
Unlike the kitchen which was basically connected and could be seen from the living room, the dining table was in a slightly separate place.
Although it was also connected to the living room without any doors in the way, the path to it had to turn so that from the living room one could not see into the dining room.
David got there in no time.
It was a nice place as the outer walls were completely made of glass, overlooking the mango orchard outside the mansion.
The dining table was quite large, having about ten chairs with two chairs for the lord and the lady.
The two chairs were next to each other on the short part of the table.
It would be too much if David sat on one of the chairs, so he chose to sit on the chair at the far end of the long section of the table.
It was also next to the chair for the lady.
David knew which one was the chair that Alisa often used because he could smell her perfume from the chair.
He calmly waited there.
It didn't take long before Alisa arrived with a tray, accompanied by her two servants.
However, each of the two servants carried two trays.
In other words, five trays arrived.
Each of the trays exuded the fragrant aroma of spices, increasing David's appetite rapidly.
Alisa ordered her two servants to leave after they placed the trays they brought on the table.
After that, she herself moved the plates and bowls on the trays to the table.
"I cooked quite a lot this afternoon, but they've all gone out, hmph, this sucks," she said suddenly while glancing at the wall clock.
She was apparently complaining while moving the plates and bowls.
David suddenly thought that he could really finish all the food on this dining table.
His energy would be very full if he succeeded. Right now, he was indeed very low on energy.
As she watched him eat, Alisa finally calmed down.
She tried to laugh and responded to David's words.
"So I'm still beautiful in the eyes of a young man like you?"
The word beautiful can always make a woman lose her mind.
Alisa had not wanted to stop discussing this since David said it.
She didn't have any special skills in flirting with men, but she expected to be flirted with by David.
"I'm sure all young men would say the same thing," David replied as he looked into her face.
"I don't know your age, but you have very clear skin. Most young women don't have skin as clear as yours. Your face is also alluring, not to mention your body." David didn't mind complimenting her if that was what she wanted.
In no time, Alisa became visibly awkward.
Under David's compliments, she could no longer act like she was a fierce woman.
Of course, she also wondered why David praised her so much.
It wasn't like she never interacted with young men.
Although they complimented her, it never got to that point.
David practically showed his interest in her.
Alisa became more nervous.
'I bet he's interested in me too,' she thought.
Despite thinking that, she still tried to figure it out.
"Are all European boys like you when they meet a beautiful woman my age?" she asked.
Maybe she still wanted to confirm whether David was really interested in her or everything he said was just a custom from the western world.
"I'm not sure about that, everyone has a different personality," David replied.
"Then is that your personality?" Alisa asked again.
"It depends, of course," David replied. "If the woman in front of me wasn't beautiful and I wasn't interested, I wouldn't be saying all that because it would practically be a lie. As for you, Lady Alisa, you are indeed beautiful, so I compliment you."
Alisa, "..."
