"Come on down," Jenny said to David.

She got out of the car, immediately earning the stares of all her employees.

When they saw her in casual clothes, they were a little surprised. She didn't usually come without work clothes.

David got out of the car after her. And Mery obviously didn't plan to come along, she left immediately.

"Why did you bring me here?" David asked Jenny.

He was just following her but wasn't sure what their purpose was.

His presence instantly intrigued the bank employees.

Looking up, David finally saw the name of the bank.

ABB, Asian Business Bank.

From the name, it seemed to be a bank that was widely used by business people and the upper middle class.

"Just follow me," Jenny said before taking a step into the office building.

David rolled his eyes because she seemed like she was forcing him.

As he followed her, she said, "don't tell me you want to fuck in your office."

"You?" Jenny opened her mouth, so shocked by David's words that she smacked his hand away.

Her surprise was not because of his words, but that he spoke quite loudly. The people around clearly heard what he was saying.

Although he was using English, but everyone in this office had a higher education, even the cleaning service understood English.

Now, the gazes of all the employees did become strange as they stared at Jenny who had not had a partner until now.

They have suspected that there is a special relationship between her and David even though the latter looks much younger. The problem is that David doesn't look like he has any business dealings plus that Jenny is only wearing casual clothes, like she just went for a walk with someone.

When she saw the stares of her employees, Jenny blushed.

She quickened her pace to avoid embarrassment.

Unfortunately, news spread quickly in this office. There's even a photo going around.

Arriving at the office lobby, Jenny immediately entered the elevator that was reserved for her. Until the elevator doors closed, all the employees kept staring at Jenny and David.

"You must be on purpose, right?" Jenny said to David with a sullen expression.

"What's wrong if I say that?" David replied with a question, showing no guilt at all because from his point of view there was nothing wrong with it. Jenny was just too sensitive.

That one question was enough to make Jenny unable to say anything else.

Before long, they arrived at the top floor of the building.

There was a spacious and luxurious office, but it was empty.

Jenny walked to the desk next to the window and sat down behind it and turned on the computer on the desk.

David didn't follow her there. He stood a short distance away from the desk watching the surroundings.

Moments later, he found that Jenny had inserted a passbook into the printer.

Even later, she took out a black atm card with gold-colored writing.

After the passbook finished printing on the printer, she stood up and walked over to David, handing him the passbook and atm card.

Paris!

Returning to this city, David felt a bit of a strange sensation.

He had been abroad for too long, so there was a different feeling, an effect that was actually normal, especially since it was the first time for him to leave his hometown for so long.

It happened to be quite late at night when David and Mery arrived in this city.

Although he missed a lot, since David wanted to rest in peace, he decided to go back to his apartment.

Apparently, he felt like seeing Audrey, his older sister, first.

When he entered the apartment, he immediately found Audrey's figure.

The latter was still sleeping. She was reading a book in the living room.

David's sudden arrival surprised her enough that she almost dropped the book in her hand.

"David, when did you get to Paris?" she said.

Fortunately David had given her information on where he had been in the past few days, so his disappearance didn't panic her.

However, obviously seeing him again was quite a shock to her after they hadn't seen each other for so long. After all, they had never been apart that long.

"Just now," David replied, coming over to her and sitting across from her while placing a large plastic bag on the table.

Of course, David brought souvenirs when he went home, such as snacks from Southeast Asia and some rare trinkets.

"Sis, everything is fine, right, in my absence?" David asked.

Although everything did seem fine, David still asked because he naturally had concerns since Audrey was living alone during his absence.

Maybe she was a strong independent woman, but still she was just a woman who had no other family besides him.

"What could have happened? I'm fine," Audrey replied.

She seemed to be bothered by David's question, but it wasn't because of anything, it was just that it was a little uncomfortable for her as an older sister to be worried by her younger brother whom she regarded as a little man because she had raised him all this time.

David chuckled softly and opened the plastic bag in front of him.

He took out snacks that he thought were delicious.

"Sis, eat this," he said, handing her a green rice cake.

It was a specialty cake from Southeast Asia that David had tried on his last day there. He liked it a lot, which is why he brought it with him.

The name he had forgotten, but it was made by fermenting, similar to the way alcohol is made from rice but not to the point where it becomes alcohol.

Audrey showed a strange expression as she looked at the green rice.

Its dense aroma made her curious.

She picked one up and put it in her mouth.

"Mm..." The flavor seemed to surprise her quite a bit.

However, she obviously liked it because she started chewing it quickly.

"This is good, it has the perfect combination of sweetness and sourness," she said, instantly making a judgment.

David laughed at that.

If he liked a food, it was unlikely that Audrey would not like it since their tongues were very similar in terms of taste.
