"What makes you say that it's complicated?" asked David in a rather low voice.
"One of the men managed to get the support of the elders to marry me. They agreed because they remembered to make sure that I would continue to be part of their family." Evelyn explained.
After hearing that, David finally realized why Evelyn found this complicated.
She had found it hard to ignore the man because the elders in the Rothschild Family supported the man.
"What is that man's name?" David didn't have a solution yet, so he wanted to know about the man first.
Knowing the name was probably enough for him to know since Jane had already started telling him the identity of the Rothschild Family members who had great influence.
"His name is Enzo, Enzo Rothschild," Evelyn replied.
"He?" David was somewhat surprised that the man called Enzo was actually Lancelot's father.
How could he be the one. This only seemed to increase their hostility even more.
Of course, David also felt more upset due to the fact that Lancelot wanted Jane while his father wanted the mother of Jane.
Father and son wanted both mother and daughter.
For a while, David was silent.
"You don't have to worry too much, although it's complicated, but I think I can continue to delay this matter." Evelyn suddenly spoke.
"Are you sure?" asked David.
"I never doubt myself," Evelyn replied.
"There's actually something you need to know," David said in response.
He felt the need to tell Evelyn about what happened to Lancelot.
"What is it?" asked Evelyn.
After she asked, David explained to her what happened, from the beginning of Lancelot's appearance until he was killed by him.
Evelyn seemed to be very surprised to hear that, but after that, she laughed quite loudly.
"Hahaha, this is good, I haven't liked that arrogant boy for a long time," she said, like she couldn't stop laughing.
David rolled his eyes at that.
Fortunately, Evelyn realized pretty quickly.
"This means you're in serious trouble too," she said, finally realizing the risks of killing Lancelot.
"I'm ready for anything," David replied.
"This is difficult," Evelyn replied, as if she wanted to tell David how complicated the situation was.
"I will definitely think of a plan," David said.
He was actually interested in creating a scheme for the Vatican in the hope that he could control it.
That required the help of Charlotte, who he felt had the possibility of being able to help him conquer the Vatican.
"Sigh!" Evelyn could only sigh in the end, showing that she was running out of ideas.
"Now I can only say that I love you, I hope you can continue to live until we have a long time together," she said.
Her words were quite comforting to David.
It boosted his spirits.
"That's for sure, I love you too," he replied.
If only Evelyn was here now, he really wanted to hug her tightly. Unfortunately, they only spoke over the phone.

Not long after, David returned to his table, not looking worried or uncomfortable.
David even deliberately stepped back a little so that his face would not be seen in the window.
Although they would eventually meet, he didn't want to be discovered by her that quickly, especially when he was with another woman she didn't know among his women.
"Who is that woman?" Charlotte suddenly asked.
She was evidently paying attention to everything that was happening.
"My sister," David replied.
"Your sister?" Hearing David's answer somehow made Charlotte's expression strange.
She ended up keeping an eye on Audrey until the latter entered the restaurant while David focused on his cell phone again.

The woman caught people's attention as she was indeed very alluring in her professional attire coupled with her hair in a bun although it was not very neat.
She was quite calm and nonchalant. Her focus was on scanning the restaurant.
In no time, she discovered David's whereabouts. She recognized him instantly even though she saw him from behind.
No matter how much David changed, it was absolutely impossible for her not to recognize him.
After finding David, she looked at Charlotte who was with him, knitting her eyebrows.
Charlotte was too striking with her blonde hair in a ponytail. Although she didn't know who she was, Audrey immediately thought that she was a woman with a certain background.
For a moment, Audrey pouted.
She was starting to feel like her younger brother was overdoing it by constantly adding new women.
No matter how she thought, she couldn't figure out how David achieved this. Sometimes she even wondered if he was the reincarnation of an Ancient Emperor.
After a while, she walked over to David's desk making it impossible for David to continue pretending not to see her.
"Sis," he said, pretending to be surprised.
Audrey didn't say anything. She immediately sat down by taking a chair from another table because the table only had two chairs.
After she sat down, she ordered the food first.
Only, she didn't say anything. Perhaps she was also at a loss as to what she needed to say.
Of course, David couldn't possibly not talk to his older sister. If he was silent when she sat beside him, she would probably think he didn't think of her as his elder sister anymore after he had his own glory.
"Sis, is it true that you have made a cure for cancer?" David asked.
It was indeed a good topic that they could talk about, so David didn't have to think of any more topics.
Audrey glanced at David's eyes at that.
"Yeah," she said in a quiet voice, seemingly not interested in discussing it seriously.
This made it difficult for David to keep asking about it.
On the other hand, Charlotte stared back and forth between David and Audrey, as if she wanted to know what their relationship was like as siblings.
Unfortunately, the conversation between them was interrupted.
After her order arrived, Audrey also only focused on eating.
She looked starving.
Occasionally, a man would pass by and stare at her intensely.
A young woman like Charlotte became a little less attractive when there were women who were already in their late 20s because the latter were considered to be completely mature.
David was quite annoyed with some of the men staring at Audrey as he found their gazes disrespectful, so he responded by giving them a cold stare, which was enough to make their hearts flutter.
To his surprise, suddenly there was a man who actually stopped.
"Ohh, Audrey, long time no see. It's really you, right?" the man said when he saw Audrey.
