After Charlotte left on foot, David headed to the university directly.
Apparently, there was something different about the university today.
There was a press conference table, and reporters were gathered near the table, carrying full equipment. Some were already going live, talking about the cancer cure said to be discovered by Dr. Audrey.
David's eyes lit up hearing that.
It really did work, there was no need for more research.
David suspected that it had been finished for quite some time. Maybe Audrey had deliberately said that it still needed research to fool anyone with bad intentions.
After the cooperation with Jane became official, only then did she dare to say that it was really finished because Jane's support was enough to make many parties refrain from bad intentions.
David parked his motorcycle, and over time, more reporters arrived.
They seemed to be from other cities.
It became very busy in no time.
David didn't see anyone he knew, from his older sister, Jane, Isabel. The three of them were probably busy preparing for the press conference.
Only, he saw Chu Feng sitting in the cafeteria, drinking coffee while watching the conference table.
Feeling friendless, David chose to walk over to the man, approaching him.

Although his original target was Jane, he had still made trouble for him, so he felt he had a grudge against him.
Chu Feng quickly discovered her whereabouts. For a moment, he knitted his brows.
After which, he lit up his cigarette, as if he wanted to make himself calmer.
David immediately sat in front of him and ordered breakfast and a cup of coffee.
"Want a cigarette," said Chu Feng.
He was the first to speak, pointing his cigarette case at David.
Despite not being a smoker, David was somehow a little intrigued. He thought he needed to try it. After all, his life was full of interesting things, wouldn't it be more interesting if he smoked too?
Finally, he took one cigarette from the case.
It was pitch black in color, exuding a fragrant herbal scent.
From the looks of it, it was a very expensive cigarette.
David placed it between his lips, but he resisted when Chu Feng handed him the lighter.
He only needed to touch the tip of the cigarette. Instantly, it lit up.
A bit of lightning was enough to set the cigarette on fire.
With one puff from David, the flame grew.
David had no trouble doing so.
After smoking it, he exhaled the smoke from his mouth.
It turned out to be quite sensational, making the head become very relaxed.
Actually, he did not even plan to answer because he did not have any words to say.
Chu Feng continues to wait while she continues to eat. Until the food ran out, Chu Feng finally realized that she was playing him.
For a moment, his expression turned ugly.

After his food was finished, David took another cigarette.
The box was still in front of him, so he easily took it.
"Thanks," he said before taking a step away.
He wanted to see the press conference which now seemed about to start.
While heading there, he lit his cigarette.
Students were gathered around, also waiting for the conference to start.
They actually looked proud that their university discovered this particular drug, which the whole world was basically looking forward to.
Some of Audrey's student fans loudly told the camera that was broadcasting live to make Audrey a Great Professor, not just an ordinary Professor because her discovery was something that no other Science Professor could find.
Although they were speaking to the camera, their words were definitely meant for the Ministry of Education officials.
There may not be such a thing as a Great Professor, but they wanted it specifically for Audrey.
Of course, David felt proud and thought that Audrey deserved the title. After all, her achievements were real and beneficial to the world.
Who knows how many cancer patients are now impatiently waiting for a cure to be released.
As David arrived at the conference area, he finally saw Audrey coming out of the university building, walking with Jane, seemingly making small talk. They were followed by students carrying various files. One of them was Isabel.
Behind them, the lecturers including the dean also followed Audrey.
There were too many of them for the conference table.
Audrey and Jane were invited to sit behind the table. The latter had the privilege of being the investor.
With her big money, she could get the drug produced in no time.
In the end, only the dean and a few lecturers sat in the remaining chairs. The rest stood at the back. The students who followed Audrey stood behind her, looking like they were ready to take her orders.
The journalists were not silent either. They started taking photos of Audrey.
Fortunately, they were organized so that they could not force their way forward to ask Audrey questions.
Some students with big bodies and scary faces were chosen to organize security.
Everything was completely structured.
When Audrey sat down and looked around, she found David. Her eyes naturally stopped moving the moment she saw him.
Seeing that he was smoking, she furrowed her brows.
Jane who also saw him smiled faintly at him.
Unlike Audrey, she didn't seem to mind that David was smoking. Maybe it was because the way they looked at David was very different.
In Audrey's eyes, David was doing something bad whereas Jane knew that smoking would not affect David's body at all.
As a young lady, perhaps she likes the sight of David smoking, which can be said to be more conspicuous than usual.
