He could feel her warm and sweet breath on his face as Ji Qingqing ruthlessly bit his lower lip. Lu Lixing’s heart skipped a beat the instant their lips touched. He was shocked by her sudden action, but the soft sensation of her lips was instantly replaced by the pain from where she was biting him. Lu Lixing frowned from the pain.

He placed his hands on Ji Qingqing’s shoulders and tried to push her away. But Ji Qingqing acted like a greedy dragon that was guarding her baby as she bit his lower lips even harder. She held his lower lip in between her teeth as she nibbled on Lu Lixing’s lower lip.

Lu Lixing tried pushing her again, but Ji Qingqing refused to let go. The one who continued to be in pain was him.

Ji Qingqing had sharp teeth.

“Ji Qingqing! Wake up!”

Ji Qingqing was not of sound mind after drinking so much wine. After she realized that she couldn’t bite his lips off, she finally let go. She leaned over Lu Lixing and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Why can’t I bite you off?”

Ji Qingqing was still sitting on Lu Lixing’s waist when he pushed her on the bed. He raised his hand and probed the corner of his mouth where she had just bitten him. There were faint traces of bloodstains on his fingertips from where he touched his mouth. When he carefully inspected his lips, he discovered that there were teeth marks too.

Lu Lixing frowned and put a hand on Ji Qingqing’s waist.

The door opened with a click.

Aunt Pei walked in from the door with a glass of liquid in her hand, “Young master, you should give this to your wife...”

Her voice trailed off as soon as she raised her head. She saw Lu Lixing and Ji Qingqing hugging each other face-to-face as they slept on the bed.

Aunt Pei could not hide the shock on her face as she quickly halted her steps. She covered her mouth to prevent any noise from coming out, lest she woke up the sleeping couple. She tiptoed back to the door, but her gaze did not move away from the sleeping couple. She closed the door gently, but it was impossible to hide the joy and excitement on her face.

“Master! Master! Good news! I have great news for you!”

Lu Lixing opened his eyes, and he could faintly hear Aunt Pei’s gradually fading voice.
