The makeup artist rushed over.
Pointing to Ji Qingqing’s neck, Director Zhou criticized, “Look at the makeup you’ve done! What’s up with the red spots on the neck? What if they are captured in the film later?”
The makeup artist didn’t dare to refute. While being yelled at, she quickly brought the makeup supply box over to reapply Ji Qingqing’s makeup. Meanwhile, Director Zhou’s loud shout attracted much attention to where Ji Qingqing was.
Ji Qingqing replied hastily, “Director Zhou, it has nothing to do with her. I’m allergic and I told her to help me cover it, but it probably got rubbed off while I was changing.”
The makeup artist smiled to show gratitude, then applied more foundation on the red marks. As she realized that the color of the double applied foundation did not blend in with the rest of the skin, she removed the previous foundation to reapply.
The removal of the foundation revealed patches of red marks that were formed from scratching the red rashes on her neck.
Ji Qingqing looked around her. Upon meeting her eyes, several filming crew members lowered their heads and pretended to busy themselves with work. Their expressions said they were trying to hide the fact that they saw something that they weren’t supposed to see.
On the other hand, Director Zhou coughed in a low voice and rushed the makeup artist. “Hurry up.”
The makeup artist then quickly spread the foundation out evenly and covered the red marks.
“Director, it’s ready.”
Director Zhou glanced at the neck and nodded. He looked at Ji Qingqing as if he wanted to say something. “It’s good to be young,” he said nostalgically after thinking for a while.
Ji Qingqing’s smile stiffened.
Shen Weiwei lowered her brows and smiled shyly without any reply.
Indicating a silent affirmation.
A few people started to tease Shen Weiwei.
Just as they spoke about it, Shen Weiwei’s phone rang. After a short phone conversation, she asked, “Director Zhou, my boyfriend has arrived early. I was thinking if he could come in and wait for me? We will leave after filming.”
“Sure, no problem. Let him in.” Director Zhou answered with a smile, indicating it wasn’t a big deal.
Shen Weiwei smiled to show her gratitude. She then walked briskly towards the entrance.
Ji Qingqing narrowed her eyes. The bastard-like Lu Liting came?
She watched coldly as Shen Weiwei shyly led Lu Liting into the filming site.
Just by comparing their appearances, the two brothers, Lu Liting and Lu Lixing did have a 60% resemblance. They belonged to a category whereby without knowing their relationship and seeing them stand together, one would wonder if they were biological brothers.
Walking beside Shen Weiwei, they looked like a match made in heaven in the eyes of others as both of them had a very pleasant appearance.
“Director Zhou, this is my boyfriend, Lu Liting. Don’t worry, we will leave right away after filming. We won’t delay the progress of later filming assignments.”
