Chapter 197

Instead of retreating, Lu Lixing advanced. He took a step forward and the distance between them became an arm’s length apart. He looked down and studied her, before finally locking his gaze on her chin. Raising his eyebrows, he leaned forward and kissed it.

Ji Qingqing reacted quickly. She immediately covered her mouth and Lu Lixing ended up directly kissing the back of her hand.

The burning sensation from Lu Lixing’s kiss earlier still hadn’t subsided. And grew even hotter at this very second. Ji Qingqing’s eyes closed tightly and her heart beat faster. She vaguely felt her whole body starting to burn.

After kissing the back of her hand, Lu Lixing then proceeded to effortlessly move that hindrance away. While Ji Qingqing was still in a stunned state, he took the opportunity to sneak through her defenses and kiss her soft rosy lips.

Ji Qingqing leaned against the wall. The hair tie in her hands slipped and dropped on the floor. There was a buzzing sound in her mind. Everything was blank and she couldn’t think nor hear a single thing. And in her eyes, all she could see was Lu Lixing’s face that was inches apart from her.

Her heart stopped suddenly, and the next second, it began pounding violently in her chest. As though she had been electrified, a tingle spread from her feet to the top of her head. Her scalp felt numb and her limbs became soft. The colliding of their lips forced her to momentarily forget how to breathe. At that moment, her entire body felt as if she was engulfed in flames that were spreading themselves across her whole body, from the strands of her hair to every single vein in her body, they were all burning intensely.

The light kiss only lingered on the surface.

After their lips parted, Lu Lixing’s eyes were filled with a desire that he never knew of.

Ji Qingqing slowly recollected her thoughts as she dazedly looked at Lu Lixing.

As Lu Lixing’s arms circled her waist, Ji Qingqing came to her senses. She instinctively began to push him away but ended up getting bitten by Lu Lixing on the corner of her lips. Ji Qingqing winced and glared at him. Then she started to retaliate and bit the corner of his lips too. Her passiveness turned into aggressiveness as she tiptoed, wrapping her arms around his neck, asserting dominance.

Unlike Lu Lixing’s gentleness, Ji Qingqing was very domineering. It was like an act of revenge and also a battle to determine a victor. She kissed passionately and deliberately, putting her whole weight on Lu Lixing, forcing him to gradually step back and stumble out of the bathroom.

Both of them were inseparable and no one could tell who was winning or how long the kiss would last. Just when Ji Qingqing breathlessly separated herself from Lu Lixing, she looked proud like a peacock flaunting its tail.

“Isn’t it just kissing? Don’t assume that you’re the only one who knows it. Even I know how to do it too!”

Lu Lixing’s passion was surging when he suddenly heard what she said. It was like a bucket of cold water that extinguished all of his emotions and desires. He could only feel the coldness from head to toe and his whole body felt as cold as a block of ice.

Just that one sentence defeated him, rendering him defenseless.

“You learned this from Jiang Su?”

Ji Qingqing became slightly speechless. Noticing Lu Lixing’s grave expression and gaze, she suddenly started to laugh uncontrollably.

“Are you being jealous?”
