Her feelings were genuine.

She was wearing a 21 million USD ring on her finger and she didn’t even dare to touch it. What if the two wing-shaped diamonds attached to it broke off?

Unable to help it, she nagged, “Why did you buy me something this expensive? Just buy me one to casually wear...”

Lu Lixing stared at the tear tracks in the corners of Ji Qingqing’s eyes. A medical staff member was bandaging one of his injured hands seriously, so he raised his other hand and gently wiped her tears.

The medic at the side used medical gauze to bandage Lu Lixing’s injured hand. “Mr. Lu, it’s done. Please avoid getting the wound wet in the next two days. Afterward, go to a professional to change your dressing.”

“You’re welcome.” The medic smiled and left the infirmary.

“You can’t let water touch the wound, so you have to be careful especially when you take a bath in the next two days.” Ji Qingqing checked him from head to toe for a few moments before suddenly thinking of something. She asked, “Is the injury only on your hand? How about your leg?”

Lu Lixing stood up. “I’m fine, let’s go back first.”

He moved forward, wanting to hold hands with Ji Qingqing, but she grinned and hid her hand from him. She went out first, her hands holding the ring box carefully.

Lu Lixing simply stood still, not moving at all.

Ji Qingqing stood still, too, looking at him. “Anything else?”

Lu Lixing glanced down.

Ji Qingqing’s cheeks reddened as she stared at the belt she bought for him. He wore it on his suit pants. “Do you want me to take off your pants, too? You’re already an adult, don’t tell me you can’t take off your belt with one hand?! Don’t go too far.”

Although she turned him down, where was the strict tone of refusal in her voice?

“I want you to untie my shoelaces. There’s no way I can untie it with only one working hand.” Lu Lixing chuckled. “What do you think about that?”

The familiar Lu Lixing was really back!

Ji Qingqing glared at him. He was spoiled rotten!

“Just kick your shoes off! Your hands are already like this, yet you still talk a lot!”

With that, she pushed Lu Lixing into the shower.

A few moments later, she heard the sound of dripping water from the bathroom. Hearing this, Ji Qingqing exited the room, hands on her red cheeks.

Everyone slept well that night except for Director Wang and the program staff who were still very busy. The two carefully prepared marriage proposals would be explosive once the show was aired.

This was the last night and the shoot would end tomorrow, so Director Wang negotiated with the hotel staff that he wanted to shoot more important and some miscellaneous shots.
