Chapter 41 First Battle Training Class

"I finally have 27 yellow battle points. I have enough for this month. After attending class tomorrow I can go back to the land of Asura." Rio excitedly said.

He turned around to see the corpse which made him feel nauseous.

"How will I handle such a gruesome sight in a real fight?" He sighed inwardly and logged out of the game.

It was already 3 pm and he was done with his lunch.

'Lia might be sleeping right now. I should cultivate since I have nothing to do.'

He sat in a lotus position on his bed and closed his eyes. He used the breathing technique as he used the first time in the land of asura.

After a minute passed while sitting in the lotus position, he could feel the familiar world energy coming towards him and going into his body.

He felt a tiny water droplet-like strength entering his body every 30 minutes. This feeling made his body and mind enveloped in calmness but the accumulation of strength was slower than the land of asura. The world energy in his room at military school felt one-third compared to the room at Empress villa.

After an hour passed, he forgot his surroundings and entered a deep meditative state.

He didn't realize how much time passed but when he opened his eyes again it was still light outside.

He checked his phone to see the time and realized it was eight in the morning.

'This is unexpected. Did Lia not try to send a telepathy message last night? I have one hour left for class. I should get fresh and prepare. I can go straight to her after finishing my class. Hope she isn't mad.'

*Ding!*

A message arrived on his phone and he checked his phone. There were eight unread messages.

He typed a message and sent it to her.

[Morning. I'm going to class.]

After Sending the message he went to get fresh and take a shower.

After forty-five minutes passed he opened the door of his room and walked out towards his class.

Sun was hiding behind the dark clouds as it appeared rain might pour down today.

The battle training class would be happening in the classroom of the first year for section A.

He entered his classroom which was half filled with students and went to sit on his favorite last seat.

A glamorous lady with brown hair arrived after ten minutes.

"We will start your first battle training class. Many of you may have already heard about a game called 'Kingdom of Beast'. It is a game based on virtual reality where you can fight different beasts on various stages that you might even encounter in the land of asura.

We at military school use this game to give you combat training and experience for your future battles. Not only that, you can even challenge your fellow classmates for battle.

This helps us to reduce the death rate in the land of asura as the students will have some battle experience and make fewer mistakes while facing those deadly beasts" Teacher Milena explained.

She pointed to the VR pods, "You guys would understand better after seeing it so go and pick one of those Helmets to put on your head."

Some students, who already had experience with the VR pods, started going and mounting the helmets on their heads. Others, who were not familiar with it, observed their other classmates and picked a VR pod, and followed their steps.

Rio also moved towards one of the pods and lay on the white reclining chair. He put on the VR helmet and his AI watch flashed.

He logged into his account automatically and appeared in an empty hall.

Teacher Milena instructed other students to create an account and asked them to join a private room called "1 A Golden Seal".

Rio looked for an option to join the room and searched for "1 A golden seal". He found the private room instantly and entered it.

The school internet was connected to his VR pod so he didn't require any password to enter the room assigned for his section.

He appeared in an empty space with others of his classmates but unlike before it wasn't the same.

It was a coliseum and Rio and company were on the higher level where seats were present but they were all standing in a spacious place where the seats ended. There was grassland in the middle which was at the lower level. It was big enough to play a football match.

Some students were amazed at seeing the arena around them as it was their first time using the VR pods. Others didn't look that bothered and just waited patiently.

Teacher Milena was standing in front of them as she was also using a VR pod.

"This is a virtual battle arena. Here you can fight a beast and gain experience. I won't explain much since seeing will be much better than listening to it. Who wants to go first and demonstrate to us how it works?" She introduced the fighting ground for them and looked at them with inviting eyes.

A girl hovered her hand in the air, "I'll go."

Her black dress made her look bewitching. Her face was painted with a proud smile and her brown eyes looked at others as if they were beneath her. Her shoulder-length hair which was brown in colour was tied in a ponytail. She looked to be the same age as him.
