He nodded in affirmation as the boy understood it would be a bad idea to go with them.
Rio knew he wasn't strong enough yet like the other two. Even Helia required Lia's help for going to the royal treasury to take away the battle technique arts under the Emperor's nose.
The beautiful sisters walked out of the room and left Rio alone.
He left the castle and went back to the empress villa to wait for his beloved wife.
An hour passed...
"Uncle had a few silver stage experts hidden near the royal treasury building if you didn't come he would've found out what I took from there," Helia said in a relieved voice as they successfully finished the mission of stealing from their own house.
"It was as I expected. I knew that Father had assigned some experts to watch around the castle although he didn't place any of them around my villa." Lia responded to her in a composed manner.
"But Uncle can not do that even if he wants to since you're only second to him in strength. Those experts won't able to hide away from your sensory radar." Helia said with an adoration tone.
"I didn't understand one thing," Lia asked and deeply gazed at the blonde-haired beauty as she was perplexed by her action from earlier.
"What?" Helia said, scrunching her brows.
"I was wondering why did you agree to teach Rio your battle technique arts of thunder element when it's the secret treasure of your Rainheart clan," Lia asked in bewilderment.
"I have already thought about it in the past. I wanted to pass down my battle technique arts given by big brother to someone who would continue his legacy.
The elders of the clan might not like it but as the current heir of the Rainheart clan, I have full right to pass the secret battle technique arts down to my successor or husband.
Giving it to that annoying fello... I mean Rio would assure me to have a successor as your children might be born with thunder element affinity too." Helia explained with a serious tone.
"Why my children when you will also have a dozen of children with my man. Some will surely be born with a thunder or even space elemental affinity. Just wait until then and You can pass down your secret arts at your heart's content." Lia said with a happy smile and teased her.
Helia's face became beet-red, hearing about dozen of children with Rio.
"What are you talking about? I can not think of that annoying fellow being the father of my child." She said as the lioness was embarrassed.
Blonde-haired beauty was helpless as she couldn't tell Lia about her conflict with Rio.
'I don't think I'll ever be able to accept that fellow as my man.'
It was hard for her to marry someone from the despicable Human race since they had killed her big brother.
The sweet sisters' continued to have their playful conversation for a little while.
Around 8 pm, Lia left for the castle to return back to her Villa.
The Asura was able to follow a time system similar to the human world observing the sun and moon for a long time.
The shadow created by the sun's position throughout the day helped them come up with the design of clocks that they later adapted into magical ones.
The night in the garden was filled with tranquility and mesmerizing view, as the sounds of nature and the beauty of the night sky were all around.
The Moon was casting a soft glimmer over the surface of the pool. Its light was highlighting the shapes and textures of the plants and flowers in the garden.
A crimson-haired youth was laying under the thirty meters long tree with white glowing leaves and rainbow-colored fruits.
The cold breeze of dark night caused a soft rustling of the leaves as it brushed past his cheeks.
Rio was watching palm size fairies hovering around the tree and some even waved at him who was sitting on the branches.
"Feels like I started to appreciate the beauty of nature more after having a pact with the Monarch Beast, Eve." The boy mumbled in a feeble tone.
An approaching footstep was sounded from the side, he turned his head to discover the white-haired beauty was coming his way.
"Was everything okay?" Rio questioned her with worry.
Lia lightly closed her eyes in affirmation with a gentle smile.
She saw him laying on the grass and sat beside him gracefully.
The guards were far away from their location as the rainbow fruit tree was in the midst of the large garden.
"It was unexpected to see you here at my favorite place. Before I met you I usually enjoyed being here and even now when you're not around I spend my time here. This place fills me with a serenity that calms my mind." Lia said in a relaxed voice.
He was watching the rainbow fruit tree and fairies dancing around as if reminiscing about the past.
Rio looked into her scarlet eyes and asked, "Would you really kill me if I pluck that fruit?"
'If you touch these rainbow fruits then I'll personally kill you even if it means for me to die.'
Hearing his unexpected question, Lia remembered the words she said to him in the past.
"Actually it's a forbidden tree. Anyone who plucks the rainbow's fruit without being recognized worthy by the tree becomes one of the plants nearby." The white-haired beauty said in a serious voice.
"So you threatened me to stay away from a calamity? Ah... Wifey's way of expressing love is so dark." Rio said in a sarcastic tone.
"Don't remind me," Lia said while her cheeks turned beet red from embarrassment.
