His voice was filled with disappointment and grief as he turned around to leave.

"Hey wait..." Rio's voice sounded behind him.

Lucas looked back with curious eyes, waiting for him to complete his sentence.

"I'll come with you. Let's meet at the yellow tower of the outcast shelter in two hours." Rio said in a nonchalant voice.

"Will you really join me?" He said in a delighted tone that was mixed with a surprised expression.

"Yes." The crimson-haired boy resounded.

"Thank you, Brother. I'll wait for you at the Yellow Tower of the outcast shelter." Lucas said with a bright smile.

Rio nodded in agreement and they bid farewell to each other.

He returned to his apartment and checked his phone one last time before casting [Astral Recall].

A light enveloped his body as he was sent to his bedroom in the Empress Villa.

Rio didn't disturb her and silently came out of the Empress Villa.

The full moon shone brightly in the clear dark sky among the glimmering stars, casting a soft glow over the castle.

A lone figure marched towards the Teleporter tower to go for his next destination.

Inside the Tower, Asura warriors were still awake. Rio had already changed into his blonde-haired get-up.

He asked for a [Teleport Glyph] to the Mist Born shelter as it was close to the yellow tower of the Outcast.

Rio entered the room with the ascended platform and tore apart the Glyph before vanishing into the space rift.

At the Mistborn shelter region, He hunted yellow stage beasts along the way and gave Eve a total of twenty yellow beasts.

He especially searched for the yellow stage beasts around the river's edge to finish his mission.

After completing his task halfway, he sped towards the Yellow Tower of the Outcast using Thunder Enchantment which increased his speed a lot compared to before.

As he reached the Shelter, he deactivated his [Ancient Disguise] and [Thunder Enchantment].

Rio could see a boy standing outside the yellow tower, waiting for someone. The illuminating stones around the shelter brightened his figure from the distance.

He used mana enchantment and ran towards the shelter and inspected him using [Heaven's Eyes].

Rio halted his steps right in front of him and Lucas approached him with a happy expression.

"Who would've expected that you would be training in the wilderness while I was busy eating my lunch? No wonder you defeated Talia." Lucas praised Rio with a delighted voice.

"When can we leave?" Rio asked the main question as he wanted to hurry and go to the purple tower of the outcast.

"We can leave now. Let's go, Brother." Lucas said while enchanting his feet with mana.

Rio and company bolted towards the purple tower of the outcast.

The night wasn't a problem as they had the strength of a peak yellow stage warriors.

Rio didn't use [Thunder Enchantment] as Awakening elemental affinity on the purple stage was not possible for others.

Along the way, many mutated and even King tier beasts appeared which made Rio frown and remember the boy's words from earlier.

"Haha...sorry Brother but this is how unlucky I'm. It's like I'm a monster magnet." Lucas said with a bittersweet smile.

"Don't worry. This way you would be valuable in hunting beasts. I wouldn't have to search for monsters." Rio said in a relaxed voice as he thought of the positive aspects of teaming up with him.

Lucas's eyes filled with surprise as this was the second time someone praised him as valuable and didn't consider him a burden.

He felt joyous in his heart and remembered something, "Brother, I forgot to tell you something. At the purple tower, my girlfriend is waiting for me. I am telling you beforehand so you don't gain feelings for her. She is the prettiest girl in our class."

"Why would I?" Rio asked scrunching his eyebrows.

Lucas ignored his words and continued, "She has a sexy older sister. If you want you can go after her. She is known to be counted as the top beauty of the federation."

"I'm not interested," Rio responded in a stiff voice.

"It's okay Brother. I can understand you don't wanna open up." Lucas said with his optimistic style.

The boy kept blabbering whenever they stopped to fight a beast.

Rio farmed a few more cores and beast soul, the former were snatched by Eve in the name of offering even though the twenty core demands had been fulfilled.

The crimson-haired boy didn't mind her as he had no use for those yellow stage cores.

The duo traveled for two hours as the sun was already about to come. The morning arrived in this region of corrupted land before the Shamor Empire.

They passed the forest and reached a vast expanse of grassland.

The grass stretched out to a very far away distance, undulating in waves like a green sea which was under the continuous wind.

Wildflowers of various colors dotted the landscape, making a vibrant scenery of red, blue, and yellow to the verdant landscape. It looked majestic with the glow of morning sunlight.

At the edge of the grassland, the terrain appears to rise, forming small hills that eventually gave a path to the jagged peaks of the mountains.
