Layla, Nyla, and Helia couldn't help but stare, their faces filled with surprise as they beheld Eve for the very first time. They had never encountered an elf before, and her beauty was truly captivating. Like a ripe fruit in the midst of nature's bounty, Eve was ravishing in her own unique way.
Her long, flowing orange hair seemed to be kissed by the sun, catching the light and casting a soft, warm glow around her. Her delicate, elven features appeared to be sculpted by Mother Nature herself, as if she were the embodiment of the world's most exquisite art. The trio found themselves utterly mesmerized, unable to tear their eyes away from the enchanting vision that was Eve.
Unlike Rio and Lia, who had met her before, Layla, Helia, and Nyla's expressions showed their astonishment at meeting this enigmatic but beautiful figure.
Helia knew that Eve was the same person who had saved her when she was on the verge of dying.
As they approached, Lia introduced her, "This is Eve. You may not have met her before, but she has helped Rio from time to time. She is the monarch of yellow stage beasts and also..."
Before Lia could finish, Eve's voice echoed in her mind, causing her to stop abruptly. Eve wasn't ready to reveal the truth just yet, waiting for the right moment to disclose it. The others noticed Lia's sudden pause, and their curiosity was piqued.
Rio could already guess that this sly elven girl had stopped Lia from revealing some truth that was just between them. He recalled that when Lia and Eve had first met, they had talked in secrecy, so this might be related to that.
"What's 'also,' big sister?" Nyla asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"Nothing," Lia replied with a smile and a mysterious glint in her eyes.
After a brief pause, she continued, "We have decided to build a house here. With Eve's permission, I've been busy finding cores to expand this place. Now that all of you are here, we can start building."
The group looked at Eve in surprise, and Rio cast her a suspicious glance, wondering when the two empresses had discussed this behind his back. Eve merely smiled at him, unfazed by his suspicion.
"I have enough cores to expand this place and build a house for each of you," Eve explained. "Just let me know what kind of house you need."
Everyone, except Lia, was stunned by the news.
"I'd like a room that's connected to nature, with large windows so I can gaze out at my plants."
With everyone's input, Layla responded, "Give me some time to create the design," and set to work on their new home, incorporating each person's unique vision.
Although three of them had rooms in the Empress Villa, they were still excited to share their ideas for the kind of rooms they had always dreamed of. Moreover, Rio, Eve, and Layla were going to have their own rooms in this wondrous forest realm.
After sketching the design on paper she carried in her spatial beast soul, Layla turned to Eve with a serene smile, "I'm ready."
Eve explained, "Let me place my hand on your head, and then imagine the place you want to construct. The material we'll use will be the hardest wood available, which is as strong as the materials normally used to build castles. In other words, here in the Wonderous Forest Realm, we will use the same material that my people in my world used to use to build houses."
Layla nodded in agreement and walked in front of Eve, trying her best to act natural despite her surprise at seeing the elven girl for the first time. It wasn't every day that one got to see an elf, especially one as beautiful as Eve.
Though Layla was also considered pretty, seeing an elf for the first time was a new experience for her, and she didn't want to make Eve uncomfortable by staring at her long, pointy ears.
As Eve gently placed her hand on Layla's head, both girls closed their eyes to begin the process.
