/Heal/
This was a skill, Eli had be working on mastering ever since he used it in the Prison Dungeon during the 3rd Form.
However, he knew that utilizing the 3rd Form again was out of the question. It would push his body to the limit, pottially leaving him permantly disabled.
Aadya had made it clear, "It's up to you".
But he was a little curious guy So....Determined, Eli decided to start small...Little by Little.
He practised, successfully mding minor injuries, but he still couldn't fully heal. Despite the limitations, he knew he had to heal Amber. He might need her assistance ahead of time because...
Ever since Eli tered the upper floor,
As time passed, the overwhelming darkness felt differt from what they had countered earlier. It seemed like they were getting closer to the Overlord's lair. However, Ember began to tremble more and more.
It st a wave of unease to Eli as he could feel emotions from his weapons due to some evolution.
Eli ev briefly considered breaking the bracelets that bound him. After all, his loved ones had already be out. Why take the risk of clinging to something that could pottially bring about disaster?
But wh Amber hadn't disappeared like the others, Eli realized that things were about to take a dire turn.
He thought, 'Shit is going to happ...and, fuck yeah'.
'sssshhhhh'
Eli's eyes took on a tranquil shade of sky blue as water elemts converged a his palm. With a gtle yet confidt demeanour, he informed Amber,
"I am going to touch you"
"Hmmm" Amber, her curiosity piqued, gave him a hesitant nod.
Eli delicately pressed his palm against the wound...Well, a place where he had once pierced and twisted.
"srhhhh-rrrhh--sshhhh"
As he made contact, the inner workings of Amber's body gradually began to md. Water particles weaved their way through, reconnecting the brok parts.
"...WoW"
"...Oh My God"
Eva and Pearl were left awestruck by the healing process they were witnessing.
"Hmmm?" Members of Oliver's team grew curious, but a single stern look from Eva and Pearl deterred them from inquiring further.
However, their curiosity remained unabated. Since Eva and Pearl were blocking their view, they siltly decided to ask Eli for an explanation later.
What Eli was doing was indeed a form of healing, but it was far from ordinary. It involved the utilization of water elemts, a technique that had become increasingly rare over time. Many attributed the decline of these water-based healing methods to the rise of the temple's influce and the emergce of F-Hing technology.
In the prest day, knowledge of these rare techniques had become scarce, with only a select few individuals deavouring to preserve and pass on the fading wisdom to prevt it from being forgott in the ever-evolving world.
Pearl's eyes, a captivating shade of lavder, glittered with intse curiosity. She contemplated, 'Ev the people of Atlantis are reluctant to delve into these techniques due to the immse difficulty in grasping the intricate nature of Water Elemts... It will take nearly a decade for someone to master the fundamtals of this particular form of healing and Yet...'
'swooshh'
Suddly, Pearl's atttion was diverted to her spear, which was channelling Water Elemts towards Eli. In this place where elemts, aside from Dark Mana, were scarce, it was peculiar for the spear to act indepdtly.
Her spear was not supposed to act autonomously unless granted permission by its master, 'Pearl Harper'. However, it now seemed more eager to assist Eli, making him appear more significant in its eyes than she was.
Eli, struggling to maintain focus, felt a surge of warmth and turned his gaze towards Pearl's Spear. Pearl was giving him an intse glare.
Amber's internal injuries were nearly healed, and Eli had reached his mtal limit. With a sigh, he concluded the healing process.
"ouch"
As he finished, Eli administered the remaining F-Hing potion, causing Amber to jolt.
"Tha-That's all I can do" Eli panted as if he had expded all his ergy on the healing.
Though the wound hadn't completely vanished, it was significantly improved, 'It's better than nothing' Amber thought as she adjusted her dress.
Eli, completely drained, sat down, his heart racing, and his hand trembling th his pupils flickered pink, 'My body really needs time to rest. Using that method is really bad and...it's getting hard' he muttered inwardly.
"So?" Amber, now recovered, asked Eli, who remained seated, seemingly fixated on his crotch.
"Hmm?" Eli mumbled in response.
With no reply forthcoming, Amber turned her atttion to Alexander, who was still unconscious despite the Saintesses' healing.
Amber regarded Oliver's team with distaste before shifting her gaze to Rize, who was still hiding her face in shame.
"..." As Amber continued to survey their surings, she couldn't ignore the ominous, dark path radiating dangerous dark mana.
"Amby, are you fine?" Eva asked, clearly concerned.
"For now, I am" Amber replied.
As a result, the medicine Eli had tak to control his urges was gradually purged from his system, leading to an elevated state of arousal, similar to what had happed wh His sister, Scarlett and he lost control over their sses.
Eli's words left the girls feeling a bit odd, and his gaze th fell on Rize, who was staring at him inttly.
They locked eyes for a momt, and th Rize slowly stood up and began walking toward Eli.
"huh? Hey, Wait?" Eva tried to stop her.
"Huh?" Rize snapped as she looked at Eva with a confused expression and th focused on Eli who was also stood up but didn't look at anyone.
"W-What happed?" Rize asked as she couldn't believe why she felt a warm ssation in her abdom.
"Hey, How long you are going to act?" An indiffert voice echoed.
Everyone looked at the source and saw Eli standing before Alexander who was still unconscious.
"Hey, he was--" Kira began,
'smash'
but before she could finish, Eli stomped on the g near Alexander.
"Good. Let's move," Eli declared, looking down at Alexander, who had narrowly dodged his attack.
Without waiting for the others, Eli began to walk away. Droplets of water from his wet body trickled behind him. He could have easily dried himself, but his half-hard state made him refrain from doing so.
"You're awake?" Oliver asked, clearly surprised by Alexander's sudd return to consciousness.
"Hahaha...I'm sorry. I thought he was going to kill me, so, you know..." Alexander explained with an awkward smile and a head scratch.
"Alex" A gtle voice reached his ears. Alexander glanced at the source for a momt and blushed slightly.
"...It seems you're fine" Amber chimed in with an amused tone, hiding her inner turmoil. She had felt the pain of betrayal despite it being orchestrated by that scheming individual, 'Ev though it was that bastard's scheme, I still felt.....Sigh, I'll discuss it with Mother later'.
Just as Oliver was about to interrupt, a deafing scream echoed through the dungeon,
"AAARRRRHHHHHH!!!"
"TTIIAAAANNNAAAA!!!"
'spark, spark'
In the blink of an eye, Eli vanished, leaving everyone behind.
'sniff, sniff'
Appearing in front of a room,
Eli wrinkled his nose as he detected an overwhelming conctration of blood.
Entering the large room, just like what he had countered on the lower floor, he was greeted with a surreal sight.
The g was coated in black fluid.
The walls were splattered with red blood.
Eli carefully vtured further into the room.
'drip, drip'
The rhythmic sound of water droplets from his drched body merged with the dark liquid below.
The room wasn't shrouded in complete darkness, yet it wasn't bathed in light either. The atmosphere resembled the soft illumination of a 5 AM morning.
"arrrhhh" A voice of agony resounded through the eerie space.
Eli's gaze darted a, searching for the source, and his heart skipped a beat....He found a light purple-haired girl lying lifelessly in the black fluid.....She was missing both hands and one of her legs.
"Ba-dum..."
Eli's heart seemed to stop for a momt. Without hesitation, his legs carried him towards the injured girl.
"M-Marie?? Ma--"
As he reached out to help her, a hoarse voice suddly interrupted.
"AA, A hero?" The voice echoed from the corner of the room.
Eli flinched and turned his atttion to the source, discovering a massive figure seated on a throne-like structure....Behind it, an Elf girl was impaled on the wall, a large wood stake protruding from her abdom.
"Alys--"
"You are not a hero, are you?" The hoarse voice inquired.
"ARRRRHHHHH!!!!"
"Ti-Tiana????" Eli stammered as he observed a tiny fairy in the creature's hand.
