They were on their way to Takigakure. The path was easy as they just flew, Shisui complained but Shiroken didn't listen. After a long time of lying, they finally arrived above a very dense forest. But by now it had turned nighttime.
The strange and the best thing about Takigakure was that it was built around a large tree. Well, it was best for Takigakure and bad for their enemies.
In the report he got from Dama Country, it said only a few words about the place. That it is a relatively small village, lacking in serious military or ninja power. The entire village is built around a large tree and has a waterfall defining its landmark. The village's water supply, and the fact that it has not been invaded, is pride that all ninja of Takigakure possess. Due to this, the residents are known to be obnoxious and the government to be corrupt.
Hell, Shiroken was shocked by the guts of this village, because when Takigakure was first being developed, they tasked Kakuzu, a powerful ninja with the assassination of the First Hokage, which he failed at. The village then treated him harshly and imprisoned him. He later escaped and took their secret jutsu, Earth Grudge Fear. Now, he was a member of the terrorist organisation Akatsuki,
However, Shiroken had another reason to come to this location. The village is renowned for being able to produce Hero Water every hundred years, which gives whoever drinks it ten times their ordinary chakra level; however, the strain of its use can prove fatal.
His plan was simple. The bodies of all Nidama clan members are extremely strong physically, and since all humans have chakra in them, if they drink this water maybe they can at least become proficient in using Genin level chakra, which would greatly help them by letting them climb mountains, trees and walk on water, these were their current limitations.
"Hmm, the village must be there." Shiroken looked at the large waterfall, seemingly covered by a giant tree. Truly, looking at things from the sky helped a lot.
"Lord Dama, I-I can't see so I don't know," Shisui said, still hanging by Shiroken's arm.
Tenken, strapped on Shiroken's waist scoffed, "Huh, how does one go around getting their eyes stolen. Were you sleeping?"
"No, I was distracted," Shisui replied, though he felt conflicted in the heart.
Tenken hummed, "Hmm, whoever took your eyes must have been pretty fast then, maybe he had to practice eye snatching on a few other people before trying on you. What about your other eye? How did he get you the second time?"
"That... He didn't get it, I gave it to someone else." Shisui replied.
After a short pause, Tenken cursed, "What the... We're talking about eyes and not daily commodities, right? Are your eyes apples you just pluck? You Uchiha are crazy... Or maybe stupid?"
Shisui wanted to refute but he could not, as he sometimes wondered how slow and foolish he had acted back then. He should have not trusted anyone from the beginning until he had done what he wanted.
"Stop it, you two, we're here. Look there, it seems some kind of a festival is going on there." Shiroken pointed.
"Aren't we going to Daimyo in this country?" Tenken asked.
He would have if there was one, "There is none, once we take Chomei back and put Takigakure in its place, I will appoint a Daimyo for this region. No matter what, we need a Daimyo as a manager of the land for the normal human population."
Shiroken from there dived down towards the village. It was a small one with a small population, hence all the population was gathered there.
"What are they doing?" He wondered.
As he got closer, he saw the village people circling around the fire in the middle of the wide-open ground. They were dancing and singing, it was truly some kind of a festival.
He wondered what approach he should take, he'd rather find the Jinchuriki first and then focus on the rest. So he looked around for Chomei by trying to sense a large heap of Chakra gathered in a single person.
After a few minutes, he had a few candidates, but the one with the most Chakra seemed to be a tanned skinned girl with mint green hair. She was standing not far from the bonfire in the middle, but she was staying away from the people it seemed.
He continued to see her for a while and soon understood what was happening. It was likely that she was the Jinchuriki, this would explain why she was scared of the people and the people were also not very kind to her. All except one person.
So, he instead of landing in the middle, landed behind a few buildings, and from there he walked to the girl and stood beside her. Shisui was also beside Shiroken.
Food was the best conversation starter, so Shiroken took out a few dumblings and heated them quickly. He handed one to Shisui. "Here, try this, it's called fried chicken dumpling."
Fu, who was looking at the people dancing around, got startled. She had not sensed Shiroken anywhere near her.
~Ah, I forgot they can't sense me.~ Shiroken said to himself, but he still offered her the dumpling.
However, Fu was in her teens, flabbergasted by Shiroken's handsomeness, she took the dumpling without thinking much.
"Why are you not playing with them?" He inquired.
"They would chase me away if I went close to them." She replied. This had become so normal to her that she didn't even feel bad about it. She had just accepted that being shunned by people was a part of her life now.
"Is it because of the tailed beast? Hmm, I know a few more Jinchuriki. One of them is also treated like you, hated by his whole village." Shiroken said.
This piqued her interest a lot, "Really? Who is he? Where is he?"
"Well, what will you do after knowing? Will your villagers let you go and meet him? By the way, have you tried talking to the beast?" He inquired. Shiroken was interested in knowing how did the happy-go-lucky Chomei acted with the girl, knowing Chomei had a soft spot for kids.
"Oh, I did, he's very kind to me, his name is Lucky Seven Chomei and told me to call him Chom-Chom," Fu replied excitedly.
Shiroken chuckled. He used to call him Chom-Chom, maybe Chomei missed him so he did this.
"Is he listening to us?" He asked her.
"Let me check," Fu fell silent and did something to check inside the seal through her mind. There was a big gate behind which the beast was sealed.
Soon after she chirped, "Nope, he's happily sleeping, hehe... he snores a lot."
"Haha, then why don't you wake him up? I'm sure he would recognise me." He told her. She confusedly asked back. "How would he know you? He's always been with me. I remember talking to him when I was 3 years old."
Shiroken sighed, these humans lacked basic knowledge, but this was a little girl, the fault was in the grown-ups. "Tailed bests are ancient beings, living for centuries. Before being captured forcefully, they used to roam around the world happily. I met all of them while they were free. Ask him, he will recognise me."
She felt doubtful and alert but decided to talk to Chomei. They were chill with each other after all.
...
Inside Fu's mind.
"KHAAA... PHEW PHEW PHEW PHEW PHEW... KHAAA..." This was what Chomei's snoring sounded like.
Fu walked to the metal gates and tapped on them to make some noise.
*BAM*
"Chom-Chom, wake up, someone is outside to meet you. He said you know him." She shouted.
Chomei's body twitched, excited Fu, that he would wake up. But Chomei just turned to the other side while sleeptalking. "NYA... Jus... 1 more min Kura-Chan."
"Kura-Chan?" Fu was hearing this name for the first time, but again, she had heard Chomei say too many strange things and none of them ever made sense.
"CHOM-CHOM! SOMEONE IS WAITING FOR YOU! HE HAS WHITE HAIR!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.
*BOOM*
"WHERE? WHEN? SHOW ME!" Chomei all of a sudden jumped up and looked around.
Fu, in shock, took a few steps back, "O-outside."
Chomei quickly looked outside through Fu's eyes. Suddenly, it seemed as if time had stopped, emotions started to rise up. Chomei didn't have eyes, but if he had they would be watery at this moment.
For the past decades, he was all alone here, stuck in this little girl. He always hoped he could hear some information about Shiroken. But nothing ever came, the village he was in was too cut out from the rest.
Sadness took over his mind and he cut himself off from everything, stayed asleep and unmoving. That was until one day his Jinchuriki Fu was attacked by a few villagers. She was hurt badly and fell unconscious.
Unknowingly, she had entered the seal and due to being too small and not knowing anything, she had crossed over to his side. Chomei, if he wanted, could just break the seal right then and there.
But, the sad and innocent eyes of Fu reminded him of Shiroken too much. He couldn't bring himself to kill this child. And so, she became his substitute for Shiroken.
But at last, the moment he had been waiting for came. Finally, he could rest easy, Shiroken was alive and well. His boy was fine and so handsome.
"SHIROOOOO! I'M HERE! I CAN SEE YOU!" Chomei bellowed louder than he had ever spoken. Fu fell back from the shockwave and covered her ears.
However, the seal would not let his voice go out. "CHOM-CHOM! CALM DOWN! I will tell him about you."
"QUICK QUICK! TALK TO HIM FU-CHAN! Convey my words to him." Chomei nudged her excitedly.
When Fu returned to her normal mind, she nodded, "He recognises you and is currently shouting your name."
Shiroken smiled happily, his eyes flickering, watering up. Chomei was the first family member, he was the one who had adopted him. The one who started it all.
He put his hand on Fu's head and warmly replied, "Chomei, let's go home."
