Chapter 186: On The Skies To Mist Village - 9
Just as Daiki was about to retort with a real zinger, they stepped into a clearing, and a pair of crude grave markers came into view.
They were simple, roughly hewn small wooden crosses. One with a sash wrapped around it, and the other, a massive blade that even stabbed into the dirt towered into the air above both graves.
It may have been named the Decapitating Carving Knife, but the Kubikiribocho was more akin to a buster sword in Daiki's opinion. It was absolutely huge, taller than both he and Anko were.
Over six feet in length by his estimates.
"Damn, so that's the sword wielded by the Demon of The Hidden Mist, huh?" Anko whistled, "Man no wonder weaklings shit themselves from him, a big fucker hurling around a beast of a blade like that, even I might have been a bit afraid of him.when I was eight years old."
"Well aren't you a big badass." Daiki snorted and made his way over to the grave.
"A sexy badass actually, but you already knew that considering how you couldn't get enough of me." Anko corrected.
"Guess so." Daiki shrugged.
Usually, he would fire back with some witty banter, being the king of epic wit that he was, but his attention was fully drawn by the blade.
He wrapped his arm around the hilt and with a slight tug, pulled it free from the ground and lifted it high up into the air, "This is" he frowned, staring at the blade.
Specifically, his eyes were on the handle of the blade.
Just like the Kiba Blades, with the Shinkugan, he could see straight inside it, and see that like them, there were seals within the handle of the blade.
There was a lot less of them than the Kiba Blades, and they were less complicated than the ones within the Kiba Blades, though they were still very advanced seals.
Making seals that small for instance in the first place was a stupidly advanced skill and one of the basis for his Bloodline Usurpation Seal.
If it was the him of just over a month ago, he'd have been completely lost on the seals within.
The fact he could more or less understand them, was a testament to how far he'd come as a user of fuinjutsu he was sure.
'It seems to be an absorption type seal, that then amplifies the purity of what it absorbs, in this case completely taking in the iron and chakra from blood and using it to generate more of the blade.' he mused.
"Brat what the hell are you doing!? Have you lost your mi-" Anko stepped forward to stop him, only to stop and gape even more as the jagged blade in his hand, absorbed the blood and before their eyes, regrew a few centimetres of the blade it had lost, "What the absolute fuck just happened?"
Daiki grinned massively, "The ability of this blade is to absorb blood with chakra in it and regenerate the blade if broken," he explained, "And this blade itself is made from neutral chakra ore, so it's a chakra blade. Normally this would be impossible, but with my regeneration I can basically-"
"You can make free chakra ore" Anko finished for him, mouth hanging low for a moment before a massive excited smile spread across her face, "Holy shit kid, this is incredible!"
More than she knew actually.
He had a bunch of chakra blades he stole from those punks in the Village of Artisans within the Land of Loot. Once he recreated the seals within the Kubikiribocho he could apply them to all of them.
And more or less, thanks to his own absurd regeneration and chakra amount, he could farm chakra blades of all elements infinitely, if slowly.
But that wasn't just it either.
With access to free chakra ore of all types, he could actually experiment on something. He'd had the thought a while ago but dismissed it.
His chakra armour. It had such a perfect blend of wind and water chakra, it could reproduce the ice style. In fact, it flat out amplified both of those elements as well.
If he could get the ratio done right, he could have a perfect blend of all five elements, and then seal them inside himself!
Not only would that amplify his elemental techniques, but also!
Ice Style, Magnet Style, Scorch Style, Boil Style, Magma Style, Mud Style, Storm Style-
Perhaps even Particle Style and more would all be within reach!
Or was that Dust Style?
A sigh echoed within his head, 'Looks like I'm going to need to expend a lot of chakra to keep you in good enough shape to not exhaust yourself doing this.' Isobu noted.
'I'll make your pond bigger.' Daiki promised in return.
'Fine, though I want a little more lily pads, and a nice little tunnel part where I can go when I want to sleep, also I want some koi.' Isobu replied.
Fair enough, fair enough.
