Looking outside, Long Yu and the others saw Lu Hong directing over a hundred people to form a team.

Holding various weapons, they approached the apartment buildings to collect supplies from the survivors. Behind them, a group of thin men pushed empty carts. With great momentum, they climbed into the building.

Soon, screams and cries echoed through the previously silent surroundings.

Listening to the panicked screams and begging voices from the survivors, Long Yu clenched his fists. He turned to look at Quan Yuanwei and said, "Brother Quan, you should head back first."

Quan Yuanwei nodded and hurriedly returned home.

Long Yu then looked at Huang Zhihui and Deng Qiqi and said, "Zhihui, Qiqi, the two of you will stay here and guard the 20th floor."

Huang Zhihui and Deng Qiqi nodded and went to retrieve their weapons.

Long Yu then turned to Shi Xuan and Jia Xiang and said, "The three of us will go down and deal with Lu Hong and his men."

"Yes, Captain," they responded.

After giving the orders, Long Yu looked at Yao Ran and Huang Qian. "Ran Ran, A Qian, you two will support us."

Yao Ran nodded. "Alright."

Huang Qian grinned and said, "Leave it to me, Captain."

After dividing the tasks, everyone quickly took their positions.

While Huang Qian went to get his sniper rifle, Yao Ran returned to her apartment. She put

away her backpack and retrieved her sniper rifle from her space. Carrying the long black case, Yao Ran left her apartment and went to the rooftop.

Seeing that Huang Qian was already there assembling his sniper rifle, she quickly found a position and did the same.

Once they were ready, Huang Qian took out a walkie-talkie from his pocket and said, "Captain, we're ready."

A second later, Long Yu's voice came through the walkie-talkie, "Got it."

"Ah!"

Lu Hong screamed in pain and fell to the snow, alerting the nearby soldiers. When they saw him standing and trying to flee, blood pouring from his leg, they realized he was one of their

targets.

One soldier threw the gangster he had tied up to his comrade and chased after Lu Hong. Aiming his gun, he shouted, "Stop!"

Lu Hong glanced back and saw the soldier still chasing him. Gritting his teeth, he tried to run

faster.

Seeing that Lu Hong wasn't stopping, the soldier shouted, "I'll shoot if you don't stop!"

After waiting for three seconds, the soldier pulled the trigger and shot Lu Hong's other thigh.

Bang!

The bullet hit its target, and Lu Hong screamed in pain. "Akh!"

With both of his thighs shot, he couldn't run anymore. When the soldier grabbed his arm, Lu

Hong still tried to crawl away.

Seeing this, the soldier's eyes turned cold, and he quickly handcuffed Lu Hong's hands. He

dragged him up and walked toward the other soldiers.

Before long, two military trucks arrived at the Ling Yuan apartment complex. As the first truck stopped, soldiers got out and helped their comrades subdue Lu Hong and his men.

A few minutes later, the soldiers had already pushed the criminals into the trucks and confiscated their weapons while half of them chased those who fled.

Once they had captured all the criminals, one of the soldiers took a megaphone and said, "To all residents of the Ling Yuan apartment complex, please do not hand over your supplies to the criminals. Keep your doors closed until we have apprehended all of them. Stay safe and follow our instructions."

After repeating this message twice, the soldiers began sweeping the apartment buildings, checking door-to-door.

Seeing this, Long Yu, Shi Xuan, and Jia Xiang decided to return home. On the rooftop, Yao Ran and Huang Qian packed up their sniper rifles and went downstairs.
