Chapter 201: Yao Ran’s Surprise

Yao Ran and Long Yu went up to the rooftop, where they stayed for an hour, observing the surroundings.

Once they were sure no one was around, they went downstairs. Yao Ran stored the boxes, and the two of them quietly left the building.

Ten minutes later, six men arrived at the office building. The man wearing sunglasses looked around and said, "Damn it! We are too late."

One of the men turned to him and asked, "Brother, what should we do now? If we return empty-handed, I'm afraid..."

He trailed off, but everyone understood what he meant.

The man with sunglasses clenched his fists and asked, "Are you sure Ling Yi came here to make the transaction?"

The others nodded. "Yes. I overheard him talking to his cousin."

The man could only clench his hands in frustration. After a moment of silence, he said, "He must have known we were following him."

"Should we still follow Yuan Rihui?" Another man asked.

The man in sunglasses sneered, "Of course. We need to find out who his client is and take over the business. Otherwise, we might lose more business in his hands."

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the others nodded and said, "Yes, Brother."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

As Yao Ran knocked on Long Yu's door, her mind was busy planning how to execute her idea. When he opened the door, she grabbed his hand and pulled him inside.

"Long Yu, I need to discuss something with you." She said, pulling him toward his bedroom. Long Yu let her pull him along and asked curiously, "What is it?"

Once inside the warm bedroom, Yao Ran closed the door and asked, "Are you familiar with the area around the military base?"

Long Yu nodded. "Yes. Why are you asking about this?"

Yao Ran pulled him to sit down on the carpeted floor, then sat in front of him and explained, "I just discovered that after I sent the antiques into my space today, the time flow in my farmland, fishpond, and grassland is faster than outside."

Hearing this, Long Yu fell silent for a moment before asking, "You mean... you can produce more food?"

Yao Ran nodded, "Yes. I just harvested another batch of crops, collected half of the fish and seafood from the fishpond, and half of the livestock from my animal farm."

"I even filled up a few shelves with eggs and dairy products. I can also harvest crops once a month and livestock, fish, and seafood once every two months. If I don't start using the supplies, I will run out of storage space soon."

After listening to her explanation, Long Yu asked, "What do you want me to do?"

Yao Ran smiled and asked him back, "Would you like to give some of the supplies to your brothers in the military?"

Long Yu was stunned. He stared at her for a moment before asking, "You want to give them to my brothers?"

Yao Ran nodded, "Even though I have my doubts about the relationship between the government, the military, and The Ark, most of the soldiers are innocent."

"From what I've observed lately, it seems the government is running low on supplies. With their current production, I don't think they will be able to support all the survivors in Juncheng City. Instead of letting the supplies go to waste in my space, why don't we use them to help your brothers?"
