"I'll deal with him." Guan Ming said as he placed his hands in his pockets. "Let's walk Jun."

Wu Jun had no choice but to drag Han Ai with him and follow Wu Jun.

"Should I keep you company?" Camilla asked Guan Ming with a worried look on her face.

She could see that he was exhausted, as if just the sight of Han Ai and Wu Jun was draining him.

Camilla didn't want to push him to tell her too much, she knew that in time he would explain things. She trusted that he simply needed to figure things out for himself at the moment.

"You'll only get bored." Guan Ming said as he kissed her on her cheek. "Plus I'll be speaking to them in our language. I don't want you to feel left out."

"Why don't you enter with us, Camilla." Adrianna offered.

She knew that even if there wouldn't be that many members of the press inside, it would still feel quite odd if Camilla entered the hall on her own when she had arrived with Guan Ming.

"Sure!" Camilla said excitedly as she looked back and gave Guan Ming an encouraging smile. "I'll see you inside."

Guan Ming nodded at her before leaving with Wu Jun and Han Ai.

As soon as they were out of view, Camilla's expression turned cold as she waved over two bodyguards. One was her own and another was Guan Ming's. He had left the man to protect Camilla, but she knew that with Cedric and Adrianna she would be safe.

"Follow him, make sure they don't hurt him." She ordered the two men.

They did not question her order, they simply nodded and did as she asked, following Guan Ming and his companions.

"I told you to leave." Guan Ming hissed in their native tongue. "I warned you, but it seems like you didn't understand my warning."

"Can you really side with those commoners?" Han Ai asked, not allowing Wu Jun to speak.

"You! You! This isn't your place!" Guan Ming shouted. He was even angrier at Han Ai that Wu Jun. "You have no idea what you've both stepped into."

"Really, Guan Ming?" Wu Jun said in a calm tone as he confronted Guan Ming. "That woman just bats her lashes at you and you forget the years we worked together, building out companies."

Guan Ming couldn't help but laugh coldly at what Wu Jun had just said.

"You and I? We were never friends, Wu Jun, the closest we got to being friends was being rivals." Guan Ming said coldly. "And even then you couldn't hold a candle to me."

Wu Jun raised a hand to punch Guan Ming, but he was stopped by Han Ai.

"Do you really think he would come here without backup?" She asked Wu Jun in a hushed tone as she looked back at the two bodyguards that were lurking nearby.

"I really didn't, I trusted you not to raise a hand against me, Wu Jun." Guan Ming said as he glanced at the bodyguards, nodding to say that he was fine. "It seems that my girlfriend read you right. You would raise a hand against me after claiming that we are friends."

"We grew up together! You've only spent a few months with these people." Wu Jun said hysterically. "And if the rumors are true, then we are even flesh and blood. How can you go against that!"

Guan Ming saw red as soon as he heard Wu Jun's accusations flung at him and his family. There were rumors that Wu Jun's real father was Guan Ming's father as well. It was due to the infertility issues that the old Wu couple were facing before Wu Jun was born.

"Blood or not, they never tried to ruin my career or separate me from the one I love." Guan Ming answered. "You have tried at every step to take what is mine. To make me fail, to see me stumble and fall. I saved your face when I didn't take the matter of your involvement to the public."

"Saved my face! Saved my face! You brought me shame the moment you had that Ian Lim escort me to the airport!" Wu Jun shouted.

"You are lucky the media did not get a whiff of your return. This is your last chance and your last warning, Wu Jun." Guan Ming said. "After tonight, pack up your bags and go home. If you don't do as I say I will let everyone know of your involvement here."

"You wouldn't dare, you would fall along with me." Wu Jun hissed.

Guan Ming ignored Wu Jun's threat and turned to look at Han Ai.

"And you, one more word that offends my girlfriend and I will make sure that your career is over." He warned. "We both know how far my influence reaches and how deep my pockets are, do not test me. I let you walk free once before out of respect for my parents."

"It won't happen again Mr. Guan." Han Ai said as she bowed deeply towards Guan Ming.

Guan Ming's expression suddenly turned calm as he gave the couple a smile and fixed his suit. Han Ai was taken aback by the sudden change of his expression.

"Good, now I expect you both to have a good time and to help those in need during this charity event. A few million shouldn't hurt you that much." Guan Ming instructed before walking away, flanked by the two body guards.

"Will you do as he asks?" Han Ai asked Wu Jun as she placed a hand on the man's shoulder.

Wu Jun gritted his teeth and shook his head.

"There is someone here that his friends fear, we will go to them. I will not allow Guan Ming to win this time." Wu Jun hissed.

"Good." Han Ai said with a smile. "He deserves what's coming from him after he ruined my career and broke my heart."
