Chapter 1336 Learning the truth　　Since Elder Boron said his parents were still alive, Ajax asked about them while thinking, 'I guess, they are regenerating their bodies from their Emperor souls.'

Even though taking over the bodies of other cultivators was much faster than regenerating the new bodies, Ajax didn't dare to imagine his parents would do such a thing.

"Yes. They are alive in a place that even I don't know where."

Elder Boron nodded his head and at the same time, he shook his head.

"For now, you can't meet your parents as they are currently hiding."

Before Ajax could finish his words, he was interrupted by Elder Boron as he continued, "As they killed the powerful cultivators representing the various organizations from the other worlds, they need to hide somewhere as they regenerate their bodies."

'Hiding?'

Ajax raised his brows as he clenched his fists in anger as he felt the same helplessness he felt when the orphans in the Silver orphanage were massacred.

'I need strength…I need to become powerful. Much more powerful than the current me.'

He tried his best to suppress his anger as he wanted to learn more about the past.

"Our Purple stone world is the weakest normal world; however, it is rarely invaded by the demons compared to  the other normal worlds because of those powerful organisations keeping an eye on this world."

"The moment they sense a powerful or rare energy in this world, they would send their representative to check it out."

Elder Boron looked at Ajax and others who were carefully listening to his words as he continued, "Currently, other than me, who is still recovering from my injuries from that time, there were no other guardians left to protect this world. So, those organizations are openly eying the Purple stone world."

'Only one emperor realm cultivator? An injured one at that.'

After hearing Elder Boron's words, Ajax raised his brows as he continued thinking,

'The demon invasion is going to be more difficult than I thought. But I can't give up now as I want to become the Protector of the Purple stone world even more now.'

Since his father was the Emperor of the Purple stone world, Ajax wanted to become one.

For him, becoming an Emperor of the Purple stone world didn't require him to become an Emperor realm cultivator. All he needs to do is stop the upcoming demon invasion and he would become the Protector of the Purple stone world.

Ajax was confused as he hurriedly asked Elder Boron about the other reasons.

"Just like your parents, the four guardians of the Purple stone world escaped with their Emperor souls and they were very furious about your parents and they also knew about you."

Elder Boron didn't keep Ajax and others in suspense for very long as he continued, "I don't know about other guardians but 'Patriarch of Nightmares' had his eyes on another artifact that your father used to have. He noticed your father placing that artifact pendant in your neck."

"Also, he was the most impatient one among the guardians. So, I had to hide you from him as he had connections with the demon race."

Elder Boron gave Ajax another reason why his identity was kept secret.

"What? One of the guardians has connections with the demon race?"

Everyone was shocked for a moment; however, when they thought about how the four guardians betrayed the emperor of the world for the ancient artifact, they felt it was not shocking for the guardians to have connections with the demon race.

"..."

However, Ajax felt his entire world was collapsing when he heard the last words of Elder Boron.

'Isn't the 'Patriarch of nightmares' creating the assassin sect in this world?'

'That means, the attack on the Silver orphanage was also done under his orders? Does that mean, I am the reason behind the massacre?'

Ajax fell to his knees as he started blaming himself for the massacre in the Silver orphanage.

Elder Boron held Ajax in his hands as he woke Ajax up from his endless thoughts.
