As Ajax was thinking about it, Alder spoke as he shared some of the information that he gained from the Spirit of the Floating Island.

"If he takes the entire Metal Region in this Duel against the Earth Ruler's entire Earth Region, upon winning the duel, we can get our hands on the Earth Ruler Core and with it, you can become the Earth Ruler."

"I will be depending on you then."

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax replied to Alder and the remaining 10 Devourer Eagle Emperors and at the same time, he said, "However, no matter what happens, I want you to return alive from the duel."

Since Ajax knew that there was an option of admitting defeat amidst the Duel, Ajax wanted his contracted spirit beast to admit defeat because he didn't want them to die during the duel.

Ajax's Devourer Eagle Emperors might not be strong; however, at the same time, they were not weak either.

Nevertheless, Ajax didn't want to underestimate the rulers of the other regions of the Floating Island just because they were able to kill the 10 rulers of the Metal Region.

According to Ajax, even if he loses the Metal Region, he could get it back in the future because he could become more powerful with time; however, losing his precious contracted spirit beasts was not something that Ajax wanted.

Hence, he was serious when he ordered Alder and the other Devourer Eagle Emperors to come back alive even if they had to admit defeat during the challenge.

Alder and the other Devourer Eagle Emperors were a little hesitant; however, when they saw the serious look on Ajax's face, they could tell how serious their master was regarding their life and death.

As the proud Devourer Eagle Emperors, it would be embarrassing to admit defeat amidst a challenge; however, after seeing Ajax's serious expression, they decided to follow Ajax's orders.

Because, if the mission has something to do with forming the contracts with the Elemental Spirits, he would be missing out on his rewards.
