Soon, Ajax rushed towards the exit of the cursed wilderness along with the bay snow lion.
He didn't store it in his spirit consciousness because after leaving the Cursed Wilderness, he would store it anyway. So, he let the baby snow lion stay outside for a little longer.

The baby snow lion is not much weaker as he was a low-level rank 4 spirit beast and he was able to keep up with Ajax's speed.
Because Ajax didn't run at his full speed, it took them nearly 6 hours to exit the Cursed Wilderness.
'Phew'
As soon as he was out of the Cursed Wilderness, for some reason he heaved a sigh of relief and stretched his body before he looked at the panting baby snow lion.
"Not bad, not bad,"
Ajax nodded his head at the Snow lion's stamina and said, "Now, you can go and rest in my spirit consciousness."
As soon as he finished his words, he summoned it back into his spirit consciousness because he didn't want others to know that he had a spirit beast with him that had the emperor level bloodline.
That's right! A high-level cultivator could deduce the bloodline of a spirit beast with a glance which Ajax didn't want as he already had a plate full of things and at the same time, he didn't want any additional troubles when he could simply avoid it by storing the baby snow lion in his spirit consciousness.
"Time to go back to the squad residence and see how senior brother Paulin and Levi are doing. I hope both of them recovered from their injuries and awaken from their unconscious state,"

Just as he ran less than a kilometre, he saw two spirit beasts which were fighting each other for a blue-coloured shining stone.
Ajax didn't have any intention to interfere in their battle; however, he didn't run towards his squad building; instead, he watched them from a distance with a funny expression on his face.
'The shameless crane has zero chances of winning against water rattled snake,'
The shameless crane he mentioned was a contracted spirit beast of his senior brother Paulin and from a look, Ajax could guess that it was the same spirit crane he helped his senior brother to tame; however, later they separated because of the never-returning cave.
He didn't do anything and just watched him fight between a spirit crane and a water rattled snake.
The spirit crane nodded its head as though it understood Ajax's words and signalled Ajax with its wing for Ajax to mount.
"Good,"
Soo, Ajax mounted the spirit crane and it started flying at an incredible speed that made Ajax surprised.
'Huh? Why is this rank 3 spirit beast has a speed that of a rank 4 spirit bird?'
Ajax silently thought in his head about the speed of the water crane.
However, he didn't think much about it as he knew where its speed was coming from.
'It must be by the deadline I set,'
When he thought about that possibility, Ajax felt if this spirit crane was carefully trained then it would become a fine tamed spirit beast for his senior brother Paulin.
After 55 minutes,
The spirit crane flew at an incredible speed that it reached the Hazegroove mercenary squad building within one hour.
"Excellent," Ajax caressed the spirit crane, which almost looked like it was going to die any time now.
While praising it, he took out twenty water element spirit stones from his system inventory before giving it to the crane.
He gave the spirit crane more than he promised because it brought him here faster; otherwise if he had to run all the way from the exit of the cursed wilderness to the squad building which would have definitely taken a couple of hours.
"You deserve these water element spirit stones. Come with me and meet your master. Only after meeting your master, you can use the water element spirit stones,"
Soon, he went into the building along with the spirit crane.
'I will check on senior brother Paulin first,'
He straightaway went to Paulin's room and opened the door and saw the dual attributed elemental spirit taking care of Paulin, who was still asleep.
"Glacious, how is he?"
He went into the room along with the spirit crane before asking the elemental spirit about Paulin.
"Captain Edmond said he will wake up in a day or two. So, nothing serious," Glaicious respectfully replied to Ajax because Glacious knew that Ajax was the one that saved his master.
"Good. Let me know when he wakes up," With that Ajax turned to leave and paused for a moment, "By the way, this is your master's contracted spirit beast. Let it stay here."
After saying that, Ajax left the room leaving behind the spirit crane.
