“No, you shouldn’t get involved. Feelings are hard to explain. If you tell Brother Fang Ming, he and Fang Yao will definitely have a conflict.”

Pan Ning did not want Meng Zhu to get involved in this mess. Although Meng Zhu and the Fang brothers had a good relationship, they should not interfere in this kind of matter, lest something even more ridiculous happened in the Fang family.

“I won’t tell Brother Fang Ming. I want that Yuan Xiao to understand the consequences of doing this!” The backpack in Meng Zhu’s hand was completely deformed by her grip.

On the weekend, Fang Ming had just driven the car out of the garage. He planned to pick up Yuan Xiao with Fang Yao and send them to University A. Unexpectedly, as soon as he drove Fang Yao out of the gate, he saw Meng Zhu standing not far from his house.

“Brother Fang Ming.” Meng Zhu greeted Fang Ming. When she saw Fang Yao sitting in the front passenger seat, she glared at him. “What are you guys going to do?”

“Oh, we’re going to pick Xiao Xiao-” Before Fang Ming was done talking, Meng Zhu interrupted.

“Pick up Yuan Xiao?” Meng Zhu felt that Fang Ming did not seem to be on guard at all. She could not help but stand up for him. “Then why bring Fang Yao?”

Fang Yao felt that Meng Zhu was obviously hostile to him. However, since he had been fighting with her since they were young, Fang Yao was already used to Meng Zhu’s attitude towards him and would not take this matter to heart.

“I’m sending Ah Yao and Xiao Xiao to University A to meet a friend. Both of them want to get into University A. It’s good to familiarize themselves with the environment in advance.” Fang Ming still had a smile on his face, but Meng Zhu’s expression was extremely ugly.

“They all want to get into University A?” Meng Zhu suddenly felt that she had misjudged Fang Yao in the past. She did not expect him to treat her biological brother like this.

“Brother Fang Ming, I want to take a look too.” Although Meng Zhu was talking to Fang Ming, her eyes were fixed on Fang Yao.

“What are you going for? Aren’t you leaving the country with Aunt Carol after a while?” Fang Yao felt that Meng Zhu’s recent behavior was really an eyesore. If she continued to cause trouble for Yuan Xiao, he would definitely not let her off easily.

“Why can’t I go? It’s not up to you whether I leave the country or not!” Meng Zhu was already filled with anger and was worried that she had nowhere to vent it.

Seeing that the two of them were about to quarrel, Fang Ming hurriedly said, “Get in the car. I’ll pick you all up tonight anyway.”

Meng Zhu glared at Fang Yao and sat in the back of the car.

“Brother, you’re spoiling her too much. This girl is being unreasonable now. She’s getting more and more wilful!” Fang Yao saw Meng Zhu’s angry expression in the rearview mirror and felt that nothing good would happen when she saw Yuan Xiao later.

“Alright, don’t I spoil you too? You’ll understand when you’re older.” Fang Ming was nearly 10 years older than Fang Yao and the others. He was the one who had truly watched them grow up.

“At least I know that Brother Fang Ming treats me well. He won’t betray his own family because of an outsider, unlike some people!” Meng Zhu thought of the photos of Fang Yao and Yuan Xiao together and was really angry for Fang Ming.

“What kind of ridiculous drama have you been watching recently? Your words are so sarcastic.” Fang Yao felt that Meng Zhu was a little strange. In the past, even if she was wilful, she would not be so unreasonable.

Fang Ming drove the car to Yuan Xiao’s house. Not long after, he saw Yuan Xiao running towards the car.

“Brother Fang Ming…” Yuan Xiao was about to get into the car when she noticed Meng Zhu sitting in the back seat. “Zhu Zhu is here too?”

Meng Zhu ignored Yuan Xiao, afraid that she herself would reveal the truth in front of Fang Ming.

“Oh, take her along. I’ll pick you up at University A tonight.” Fang Ming heard from his brother that Meng Zhu seemed to have a conflict with Yuan Xiao and hoped to give them some space to resolve the conflict.

Yuan Xiao sat beside Meng Zhu and looked at the angry little girl. Yuan Xiao did not know how she had offended her. Even if she liked Fang Yao, she was not the type to fuss over every little thing.

“Zhu Zhu, are you still going overseas after the new year?” Yuan Xiao felt that the atmosphere in the car was a little awkward, so she took the initiative to talk to Meng Zhu beside her.

“I’m not going. I want to stay.” After Meng Zhu finished speaking, she deliberately looked at Yuan Xiao and said to her provocatively, “Why? Do I need your permission to stay or not?”
