With the Isolation Barrier Core Generator up in Lyro and the demons had been cleared out of the fallen ruins, the Rifle Mages and Sea Hunters threw a celebratory cheer.
They had never expected that their clean up operation would be done within two and a half days which allowed the ministry who had been planning for the reconstruction to be elated. The planners were able to step foot into the fallen ruins of Lyro and do a quick survey which would had been impossible if not for the additional time in their schedule.
After all, the ministry had planned to do so after 2 weeks of clean up. But with an additional week, they could insert the Lyro inputs as an additional field survey. In any case, this was their hometown so if they were able to preserve any resemblance of the old Lyro in some way, the citizens would be the best people to do so.
Jin also agreed to it but more important to him was the addition of 'demons' troops into his fodder. With his original System back online, he was able to throw out a temporary dimensional instance which consisted of only the Vampiric Werewolves as well as the Sea Demon Octopus which had been killed by the Sea Hunters.
In their original forms, Jin met up with those few demons and gave them a choice. "Turn into human form permanently or turn into materials." That ultimatum was more than enough to bring curiosity to the following demons as they asked if they were permitted to question such choices.
"The answer is simple and straightforward. I need people to fight against the Celestials." Jin replied and the demons looked among themselves as if Jin had a loose screw in his head.
"You are fighting against the Celestials? We were given the mission to occupy the land beforehand to fight against the Celestials a hundred years back but they never came." The Sea Demon Octopus said.
"Because I want all of you to join my army and be a fighting force under the disguise of humans. This way, you can learn to control your powers and augment them with the capabilities of human technology." Jin said as he used his storage ring to take out a rifle and shoot toward the Sea Demon Octopus.
Naturally, it tried to block with just one tentacle worth of sea serpents but the bullet pierced through easily with not much difficulty. Jin then threw the rifle to one of the Werewolves and asked them to do the same. This time the Sea Demon Octopus concentrated all eight tentacles, ready to block the bullet once more.
"Put some magic into it before shooting," Jin advised as the Werewolf did as instructed as released a charged up shot towards the Sea Demon Octopus. Even though it was his first time using the rifle, the Vampiric Werewolf participant had managed to pierce through two of the hardened tentacles which made others understand what they meant by human technology.
They initially thought there were some improvements to their swords and bows but never realised that it could be as simple and strong as this. Not to mention, the amount of magical energy used was considerably less for the damage done. Meanwhile, the Sea Demon Octopus complained to stop using him as a target as he too transformed into a human with the serpent tentacles as his tattoos on his limbs.
"With all agreeable, then I will start the Daemon Mage Corps. You will be under the training of my Royal Advisor Kraft. Oh and don't even think of trying to go against him, you will die." Jin stared into each of their eyes.
"You will die so terribly that you would even be begging for a sweet release after death." As he said that line, a sinister aura emerged at the corner of the dimensional instance and everyone except Jin was on their knees.
That aura with the silhouette of an evil looking fox continued to haunt them as the person in charge of their training walked towards them with a haughty smile on his face. There was no way this first group of the Daemon Corps could survive the so called training easily.
