Xin Lan didn't know what to say so he just kept quiet and slowly nodded. "I will go and find out what is going on then. I'll tell you the details as soon as I find out. I shouldn't linger then." He nodded at the two of them and then turned around and left, not looking back a single time. He didn't want to see. And he also wanted to find out what was going on in the demon realm. Leng Jin Yu waited for a while, wondering what it could be but finally couldn't help but ask when Jinde didn't speak up. "Is something the matter?"

"Isn't that what I should ask you? You said you had no problem with me accepting Xin Lan's gift. So what was that about before?"

Leng Jin Yu nodded and then kissed Jinde's temple. "I promise."

"Very well. Then I guess I should really go and continue with my treatment then. If you need anything …"

"I know the way to find you. Don't worry. I'll be right outside, waiting for you to emerge again."

Jinde laughed and gave him a quick kiss before he turned around and jumped into the water, sinking down to the ground and sitting down in the Lotus position. He could hardly wait to heal completely. The two of them … They would have a lot of fun when that time came.
