Chapter 387 - The Servant Bai Yu Bai Yu's Divine Power

Jiang's father didn't press for details upon witnessing the scene. Trusting that Jiang Hao had the situation under control, he refrained from further questioning.

Once at home, Jiang Hao secluded himself in his bedroom, where a painting scroll soon materialized in his hands. Unfurling it, he commanded, “Come out!”

The scroll radiated a soft glow, and abruptly, a classical beauty dressed in flowing white robes appeared before Jiang Hao.

“This servant, Bai Yu, greets her master,” she said, bowing deeply with respect.

Jiang Hao was taken aback by the classical beauty, not having anticipated that the spirit born from the Portrait of Ladies would be such a striking figure. Yet, her form of address made him uncomfortable.

He was no lord, and as a model citizen, Jiang Hao prided himself on his integrity.

After a moment's thought, he instructed, “There's no need to call me master. Mr. Jiang will suffice.”

The classical beauty stole a quick glance at Jiang Hao and replied with savvy understanding, “As you wish, Mr. Jiang.”

Jiang Hao nodded in approval and probed further, “You mentioned you were recently born?”

“Master, I have only recently come into being, so I haven't engaged in these acts. Moreover, I would never harm anyone!”

Jiang Hao gave the apprehensive White Feather a sidelong glance, his face stoic and inscrutable.

“Are there any other methods?”

After pondering briefly, White Feather replied softly,

“Additionally, if the master could procure a spiritually endowed painting for White Feather to consume, it would also enhance my strength!”

“Alternatively, I could seek out a more sophisticated painting to inhabit than the current Portrait of Ladies!”

With that, White Feather bowed her head.

The final two methods were a bit of a long shot. Paintings imbued with spirit were rare and valuable treasures, and even if they existed, it wasn't guaranteed that she could consume them!

If she was able to come into existence, such treasures would surely birth even more formidable spirits!

Who would consume whom in the end was an open question!

And as for those paintings with spiritual essence but without a birthed spirit, well, that would be a matter of luck!
