Chapter 1530 Chapter 1523: Rising Era, Neo-Dawn (3)

Wei Wuyin's senses were shrouded in inky darkness and eerie silence; then, only the pulsating myriads of colors of Eden, the pounding roars of Kratos, the forceful howls of King, and the oddly flagrant deliciousness of Orianna were present, all stimulating his True Soul as his awareness remained in a state of sublimation.

When his sense of sight, sense of touch, sense of hearing, sense of smell, and sense of taste were enveloped by his Astral Souls, by his family, was he capable of regaining his thoughts. The feeling felt extremely familiar. He had undergone this before, in the grassy clearing of a forest, shortly before he learned of the Bloodline of Sin's path that he was unable to walk away from.

"The First Sinner. Rite of Sin. Rite of a Sinner. Eighteen Calamities of Hell. The Heavenly Daos. The Three Thousand Commandments of the Heavenly Daos. Scripture of Sin. True Soul of Sin. Karmic Sin. Karmic Luck. Pride. Lust. Greed. Sloth. Gluttony. Wrath. Envy. One of Forty-Nine."

These words etched themselves into Wei Wuyin's True Soul miraculously. Unbeknownst to him, his situation was incredibly irregular for any bestowal of the Inheritor of Sin! This was even more so given his status as a Blessed prior!

Normally, after becoming an Inheritor of Sin, the Inheritor would be subjected to the Rite of a Sinner before gaining the qualifications to face the Eighteen Calamities of Hell. This was typically preceded by a cultivator reaching the so-called Realm of Sages. However, Wei Wuyin hadn't just inherited the Bloodline of Sin: Pride, but he had formed the Bloodline of Sin: Lust naturally! He was already facing the Eighteen Calamities of Hell, already having survived eight of them!

He already passed the Rite of a Sinner!

There should be no need to undergo a second Rite of a Sinner.

There should be no need to undergo a second Rite of a Sinner.

Normally.

Wei Wuyin felt a branding feeling on his left arm. It was careful and deliberate, like an artist's greatest masterpiece in creation. The faint hymns of the heavens rang in his ears. The faint heat of sin scorched his skin.

When his cultivation was lackluster in comparison, considerably lower, his breadth of knowledge, spirit, and experience inferior by all accounts, Wei Wuyin was unable to experience these changes. Today, he was.

He could feel a second Bloodline of Sin tattoo etch itself into his left arm.

This verified that he had succeeded. He was alive. He would live!

"Hunger." N♡vεlB¡n: A Haven for Bookworms and Dreamers.

A thundering voice originating from his soul like a monstrous beast resonated with his soul, seemingly coming from an obscure seed of his own creation, planted solely by his will with the assistance of an unfathomable Dao. The Dao didn't need any external forces to assist. It felt as if he was chosen.

Wei Wuyin was familiar with the feeling of Daos to an unnatural level for a mortal. Not only had his physique been directly blessed by three Daos, perhaps even more, but he cultivated the Alchemic Dao, formed the Void Dao in his blood, and possessed the Mind Dao within his mind. After facing the Heavenly Daos, Wei Wuyin was uniquely attuned to sensing their presence, and to some extent-attitudes, especially with the help of his Astral Souls.

He could feel their distinct warmth radiating into his True Soul. They were right alongside him, having never left his side, and this brought a sensation of great relief and happiness. One of the worst feelings in this cold, unforgiving world was traversing it alone. It was something he would rather never experience again.

A lingering voice caressed his senses,

"Thief of Sin, Inheritor of Pride, Chosen of Lust, your days ahead may not be easy. However, remember this: You are free. You will always be free."

There was an unbearable itch in his heart. It belonged to the seed from earlier, the idea that kept propagating and fueled by their presence. Moreover, he was keenly aware of what each of them was thinking, wanted, and hoped for. How could that seed not germinate and sprout?

"I have some spare time; I invite all of you to my Original Dawn Palace for a Dao Discussion."

After saying this with a level of directness that was unprecedented, not hiding at all his intentions as he sized up each of their astonishing figures that came in a myriad of flavors, a large Void Portal manifested a few dozen feet behind him with a whooshing noise.

He didn't bother waiting for their answers. He turned and walked slowly toward the Void Portal with deliberate steps. Each step was like thunder to each of their hearts.

Zhangjie Wushu's expression immediately changed. All of them? Wasn't this a little too greedy? Moreover, he was still a mere mortal! She couldn't help but glance at the two other World Emperors and two Rune Kings present, each of them a woman of great age and experience, and two of which had some type of engagement with Tian Taizong, with Tian Xiaocheng not only accepting the clan's name but being proclaimed as his Empress.

Wasn't that incredibly brazen?!

While she knew whether it was Liu Xiulan or Tian Xiaocheng, based on Wei Wuyin's earlier exposure of their plans, the former was a fellow schemer and the latter was a pawn used to cultivate a Bloodline Clone, and likely had no strong feelings for Tian Taizong, this was still a little sudden. She didn't doubt what Tian Xiaocheng's choice would be though, given her past and circumstance.

If she didn't hug tightly to this golden thigh that was Wei Wuyin, Liu Yinlan or Liu Xiulan would end her life by the end of the day.

Shockingly, the first to move was Hu Meifang. She seemed to be in a daze as her gaze never left Wei Wuyin's back, following him with a hurried skip in her step as if she was fearing that she would be left behind. The scene reminded her of those young girls overtaken by their fierce imagination and idolizing their desired partners.

She felt that Tian Xiaocheng would certainly follow. But she was shaken by what happened next! Liu Xiulan grabbed her sister's hand and pulled her towards the Void Portal. They were exchanging spiritual transmissions while Liu Yinlan seemed confused.

After a brief moment, a look of shock, resistant questioning, and thinly veiled expectation flitted across Liu Yinlan's expression. Liu Xiulan was once again planning to use her sister for her own gain, likely using her beauty and cultivation base to earn Wei Wuyin's favor for a chance to escape now that her plans were all ruined. This was what Zhangjie Wushu assumed.

And she was mostly right! Liu Yinlan was blind toward her sister's scheming and barely reacted earlier despite learning a Bloodline Clone of hers was formed by her sister's design. She seemed entirely uncaring of that fact. Her joy of having her sister near her and perhaps the remnant effects of her illusory dream likely stifled all those things.

In truth, no one here was familiar with Liu Xiulan and Liu Yinlan's relationship dynamic. They grew up in dangerous times, and Liu Xiulan had always been Liu Yinlan's pillar of support. She had her unconditional trust. Bloodline Clone? Twenty thousand-year scheme? None of that mattered as her sister had performed feats of brutality and viciousness that were indescribable for them to live and to protect her from the vile hands of perverted men and conniving women.

Her sister didn't try to harm her, so what did it matter? Moreover, if you thought about it, her sister escaping beyond this freaking cage was a blessing and a dream that she always wanted, even if she wanted to go with her.

As long as Liu Xiulan was right here alive and breathing, Liu Yinlan didn't care about anything else she had done or would do. This type of relationship might not seem too healthy, but twenty thousand years of devoting herself to fierce cultivation to acquire Worldly Saint Phase cultivation base for the sake of single-minded revenge was equally as terrifying.

After all, World Emperors have always existed as guardians of the Endless Void Realm, but Liu Yinlan was the first Worldly Saint of the Ancient Sealed Region! She was the most prominent Void Voyage Sect's Sect Master in history!

Seeing Liu Yinlan act like the younger sister of the two, pulled into the Void Portal, likely about to have every inch of her body explored by a mortal at the convincing of her sister, Zhangjie Wushu couldn't help but lightly chuckle. If anything, Liu Xiulan was keenly aware that her sister had a more youthful and beautiful look, and was capable of seizing men's interests a lot more.

Soon, Zhangjie Wushu found herself alone as Tian Xiaocheng bit her luscious lips and followed into the Void Portal.

With a soft sigh, Zhangjie Wushu shook her head. By the time she felt her thoughts settle, she found herself at the foot of the Void Portal. There was far too much she wanted to know about this mysterious Wei Wuyin. How could she throw away this chance?

After entering, the Void Portal vanished as if it was never there.

On this day, three World Emperors and two Rune Kings entered the Original Dawn Palace. On this day, and for the next several, the activity within the Original Dawn Palace was unprecedentedly passionate. On this day, the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Emperor enjoyed all sorts of new flavors. On this day, women of tens of thousands of years in age were met with a big surprise that their experience and cultivation bases couldn't prepare them for.
