Chapter 162 Concern Of Liu Nanxi

"Come out", Ling'er spoke softly and clenched her fist. Su'er also clenched her hand and two blue coloured beads appeared in both of their hands.

"Young master, here is it", both of the girls stretched their hands towards Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen couldn't see any reluctance in both of their eyes as they handed over the two blue coloured beads to him.

Zhan Chen observed the beads for a moment. Then he pushed them back towards both of the girls.

"Keep these beads with you for now. I will take a clear look at the beads after we leave this place", Zhan Chen spoke.

Both of the girls nodded their heads and put away their beads. Zhan Chen took a glance towards everyone of the Shen clan with his soul consciousness. After making sure that everyone was safe, he led both of the girls towards the distance.

The three of them were already out of the sight of crowd when Zhan Chen stopped and turned to look at a distant direction.

A glint appeared in his eyes as he looked at the distant direction with a penetrating gaze. "Young master, what happened?", Su'er looked towards Zhan Chen.

"Some rats are trying to sneak behind your young miss", Zhan Chen replied to Su'er.

"Is not senior Nanxi with young miss?", Su'er asked with a confused expression on her face.

"She is not able to locate them. Those rats are using some sort of concealing technique to hide their auras", Zhan Chen explained.

"Then how can young master locate them? Are you using those tamed snakes of yours?", Su'er looked towards Zhan Chen with curiosity.

Zhan Chen shook his head and stayed silent. He didn't want to fool Su'er. Yet, he couldn't describe the exact circumstances about his soul consciousness. So, he chose to remain silent.

Su'er was smasrt. So, she didn't ask another question to bother Zhan Chen.

The middle aged man nodded his head and followed behind Shen Ruyan along with the robust looking old man. It didn't take long for Shen Ruyan and Liu Nanxi to come out of the crowdy area.

Both of them were talking to eachother. But they didn't notice a pair of two cultivators were following behind them.

"It should be safe now. Use the transmission tailsman", the robust old man looked towards his middle aged companion.

The middle aged cultivator nodded his head and took out a yellow coloured paper. He was just going to channel his essence energy into the paper when he felt a sudden impact on his soul. Before, he could know what was going on, his eyes went blank.

"Not so fast", the voice of Zhan Chen came from a distance. Before the robust looking old man could process what was going on, Zhan Chen had already reached the location of two.

Zhan Chen took the yellow coloured paper from the middle aged man and threw a look at it.

"An earth grade transmission tailsman", Zhan Chen lightly commented after seeing the tailsman paper on his hand.

"Who are you?", the robust looking old man who was the companion of middle aged man asked in a cautious tone.

"A peak fifth stage cultivator and a peak fourth stage cultivator who was approaching the fifth stage. Tell me, where have you come from?", Zhan Chen asked without replying the robust looking old man.

"What do you want? And what have you done to Huo Yihu?", the robust looking old man looked towards Zhan Chen warily. The person infront of him seemed to be a youngster but he couldn't see through him. So, the robust looking old man became more wary and cautious.

"Huo surname? Looks like I have to do a soul search", Zhan Chen murmured to himself. He threw a look at the robust looking old man and before the robust looking old man could do anything, a strand of Zhan Chen's soul entered his body.

A frown appeared on the face of Zhan Chen while he was looking through the memories of fifth stage cultivator. It took him only some moments to glean through all the information related to Huo clan and Shen Ruyan.

"Huo Baixing, Huo Chunyang? I will make sure to send both of you to hell when we meet. As for now, I will take care of Huo Baixing, the little devil of Huo clan", Zhan Chen murmured to himself.

Zhan Chen let go of both of the cultivators after a while. He didn't choose to kill them as they were more valuable when alive. As for the chance of betrayal, there was no question. Because not even sages can dissolve his planted slave seals.

"Young master, where have you gone?", Ling'er asked as soon as Zhan Chen came back. He had not told anything while leaving. So, both Su'er and she were worried about him.

"It is just a minor thing. Your young miss has come out already. Let's go", Zhan Chen spoke after rubbing the head of Ling'er.

"What! Huo clan?", Shen Ruyan and Liu Nanxi exclaimed in surprised after Zhan Chen told them about the two cultivators of Huo clan.

"Are you sure?", Liu Nanxi asked with a tensed voice.

Zhan Chen nodded his head. Liu Nanxi stayed silent for a moment. Then, she turned to look towards Zhan Chen.

"We must prepare for the battle. But you can't participate", Liu Nanxi spoke with a firm tone in her voice.

Zhan Chen felt confused for a moment after listening the denial of Liu Nanxi. He looked towards Shen Ruyan with confusion.

Shen Ruyan sighed after seeing the look on Zhan Chen's face. She knew it was hard to keep Zhan Chen out of this mess.

The fight between the warrior of two clans is not a joke. We have our falcon guards but it does not mean we can definitely fight them. The Huo clan has come means they are prepared. Moreover, they most have a clear understanding of our forces", Shen Ruyan spoke.

"It is already dangerous because they must have sent peak fifth stage elders of their clan to contain elder Li Han. But if for some reason, they have sent one of their guardian elders, then.....", Shen Ruyan didn't complete her sentence but her worrying look tell everything what she wanted to say.

"You are telling me not to participate because it will be hopeless, right?", Zhan Chen turned to look towards Liu Nanxi.

Liu Nanxi tried to act indifferent but her worried eyes made everything clear. Zhan Chen felt sweet in his heart after seeing how concerned Liu Nanxi was for him. After seeing the arrival of battle, she was first thinking about how to make him safe.

"I know what you think but you wouldn't have doubted me if you know the extent of my prowcess", Zhan Chen spoke to Liu Nanxi.
