Chapter 175 An Invitation

"Well then, let's go. Our destination is Hundred fragrance city this time", elder Yang spoke. Elder Tong nodded his head and appeared before the Shen clan experts. Then with his command, Shen clan experts started to move out of the Azure billow town.

Zhan Chen observed the people of Azure billow town while leaving the city. His soul consciousness covered the entire city as he observed each cultivator with his soul consciousness.

"There is indeed certain difference between the Western region and the Central land. This Azure billow town is smaller than the Red cloud city where my Zhan family resides. But the number of cultivators here are almost three times that of Red cloud city", Zhan Chen thought to himself.

Li Shu blushed after being caught red handed. Zhan Chen was travelling so close to her. So, her eyes were glued to his face since a while.

"Young master Chen, thanks for yesterday. My cultivation has improved by a stage", Li Shu spoke.

"Oh, congratulation then. I have forgot to check your cultivation level. You are now a second stage True essence realm expert", Zhan Chen replied to Li Shu.

"It is all thanks to you", Li Shu murmured with a shy look on her face. Zhan Chen felt amused after comparing her bold approach in the night and the current shy expression of her. Although it was true that the current nature of Li Shu was the true her.

Li Yan had a surprised expression plastered on her face as she heard the conversation of Li Shu and Zhan Chen. Although she knew about the rise in cultivation of her sister but she thought that it was her own effort. But suddenly a suffocating aura came from afar and quickly engulfed the soldier who had received the rectangular stone.

"Impudence! You dare take advantage of sixth stage experts?", a voice came out and a silhouette appeared in the air near the city gate.

"Sixth stage experts!", the mind of the soldier went blank after hearing the words of his superior. A fearful look appeared in his eyes as he trembled at his place.

"Chain up this bastard and throw him in the prison", the expert in the air commanded. Then he turned to look towards the Shen clan cultivators.

"Greetings senior", he bowed towards elder Tong.

? "Are you anticipating our arrival?", elder Tong looked towards the fifth stage expert who was floating in the air.

"Yes senior", the peak fifth stage expert replied.

"I can guess that much. Our horned lions are an obvious sign of our identity", elder Tong spoke.

"Senior, our young miss has arranged a lavish feast for all of you. I will lead you to the city lord's palace, if you give the permission ", the peak fifth stage expert spoke with a polite expression on his face.

"Your young miss?", elder Tong looked at the peak fifth stage expert with confusion.

"Yes, young miss. She is waiting for you", the peak fifth stage expert replied.

"Grand uncle Tong, shall we go? I know their young miss", Shen Ruyan looked towards elder Tong.

Elder Tong had no reason to refuse her. So, he agreed with her request. Thus, the Shen clan group followed behind the peak fifth stage expert and walked towards the city lord palace of Hundred blossom city.

Zhan Chen kept observing the city while going the city lord palace. A path was forced open for them as the travellers who were in their path made to stand at the side by the guards of Hundred blossom city.

The other travellers who were visiting the Hundred blossom city looked at the group of Shen clan with awe because they were being escorted to the city lord palace while still riding their magical beasts. Generally, cultivators who were at Core Condensation realm or below would have to hand over their magical beasts to the city guards before entering the gates of Hundred blossom city but today was an exception to that rule.

Zhan Chen looked at the crowd with interest as he discovered many Core condensation realm cultivators among crowd. There were also several fifth stage experts who were mixed among the crowd.

"As expected of a renowned city of central land", Zhan Chen thought to himself. He had already gathered information that the Hundred blossom city was one of the biggest cities of earth province. So, he wanted to compare the city with his own continent of past life.

While he was looking at the crowd, the crowd was also observing the group of Shen clan experts. But contrary to Zhan Chen's impartial gaze, their gazes were glued on Kai Min, Li Yan, Ling'er, Su'er and others.

"One smile from that beauty and I can die happily", a cultivator pointed towards Kai Min.

"I bet the beauty covering her face is more beautiful", another voice came.

Cold sweat started to pour out of the forehead of the man who was looking towards Su'er and Ling'er. An overbearing pain came to his mind as he fell like his soul would break apart.

Zhan Chen withdrew his soul pressure after some moments but it was enough to scare the Core condensation realm expert. He hurriedly turned away and tried to go as far away as possible.

Zhan Chen didn't mind him anymore as he focused his gaze on the beautiful palace at the center of the city.
